I’ll send you daily photos/videos and make sure they’re getting love and attention every day! “Amanda is wonderful with my two dogs. She is super conscientious and creatively manages their differing needs; one is small and elderly and one is large, young, and dog reactive. I so appreciate Amanda!”

About: I am a dedicated pet sitter with 12 years of experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. I provide reliable, compassionate care, ensuring your furry friends feel loved, comfortable, and well-attended while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply offering companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work remotely partially during the week. Therefore, I have some flexibility. I am available on weekends to board and weekdays after 4pm. Let’s play! I have a large fenced yard for your pup to run and play! I have a senior small dog that can easily be crated if needed.

About: Currently servicing Metairie and Kenner only. Veteran volunteer at Jefferson Parish Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS). I am interested in doing some extra afternoon pet sitting and dog walking. I am used to walking most large and mid-size dogs, as well as small dogs. When it comes to an initial visit, It's important to establish a rapport with pets to gain their trust and confidence. Visits and walks are 30 minutes; however, I am happy to to spend extra time if needed. I am retired and have a lot of free time on my hands. So I am available afternoons 11AM to 5PM, Monday through Sunday and most holidays. Pet safety and security is always a top priority. Leaving a pet unattended can lead to them to go missing or vulnerable to outside prey. I believe every pet should wear a GPS collar to be aware of its whereabouts at all times.

“I have a pretty nervous Pitty and Lindsay has been wonderful with him. He has really opened up to her and looks forward to his walks. He doesn’t like a lot of people, but he likes Lindsay!”

“My dog, Boscoe Butterfly, is a lot. He is 85 pounds and likes to lick people’s faces. Ryan is wonderful with the butterfly. I have had the chance to get to know Ryan as a human being, and that guy is wonderful too.”

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. I am my family’s pet sitter and would like to expand. I much rather keep the animal(s) in their own home to be the most comfortable. I like to build trust with any animal I come to care for like it is my own.

About: I truly enjoy taking care of pets because they add so much to our earthly experience. I’ve taken care of dogs who’ve needed a wide range of specialized care due to emotional/physical trauma and maturing into senior care. I’m very patient and flexible and want to do what I can to deeply understand you and your pets’ needs. I will be off from 9 to 5 all of May! I’m available mornings and afternoons (lunchtime). I’ll have a lot of flexibility so, I’m open to pet sitting too. I don’t just treat pets as if it was my own; I treat pets as humans and ensure they are respected and properly cared for. I live in a rental apartment that does not permit pets, so I would have to care for the pet in your home. This means that I will honor your space, respect your privacy, and ensure cleanliness at all times.

“Sherryann is excellent! She is very detailed in her report cards, friendly and understanding with my pup, and responsive to questions / communications. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve always been a pet lover growing up and any chance I’ve had to be around animals I took it. So I thought why not help others care for their pets when they aren’t able to. I am currently unemployed since I just recently moved to a different area and they did not have a store near me that I could transfer to, I’m planning on this being my full time job until I’m able to find a new job so my schedule is completely open I care for the pets however the owner sees fit, any daily routines and specific needs will always be taken care of, from walks to feedings to playtime down to potty breaks. Dog parks are my ideal go to but only if the owner says it’s okay.

“She was fantastic! Tired out pup out on long walks— will definitely be requesting her services again!”

About: I have sporadically been caring for mainly cats & dogs since 2015 (with doing house sits full-time since June 2021). Friends & clients would rely on me to walk, feed, spend quality time (i.e. play, pet, cuddle) & monitor their cats & dogs while they are out-of-town. Pet care fits with my daily routine where I'm able to adjust my schedule to meet the clients' needs accordingly. I provide flexibility so that when my clients' return, they can continue with life prior to them hiring me. I care for the pets in my clients' homes' according to their specifications. I have sat indoor cats where I would make sure they avoid becoming "escape artists"; I have called for indoor/outdoor cats before dark so that they are in the house as a safe environment; I have made sure leashes were in correctly for dogs prior to going for walks & have made sure they stay on it until they are at a dog park (to run/play at their leisure) and they return home. I make sure their fed on schedule & that they receive as much love as they allow for me to give.

“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: I have over 8 years of dog care, walking and sitting experience. No dog too big or small. Special needs dogs are my specialty! Looking forward to being your pets’ new buddy. I work part time remotely, so my schedule is pretty wide open. I always have time to take dogs on 2-4 walks a day. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings all have availability. I have a fenced yard and a dog & cat. They are both friendly and cross species trained. I let them out a few times a day, but prefer to do at least one big walk per day, whether it is to the park or on a nature walk.

“I cannot think of a better person to entrust the care of my pets. David and I volunteer together at the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS). He is one our most valued volunteers. He understands dogs; How and what do they respond to, their needs etc. He worked at improving their lives at the shelter and passionately pursued projects to make that happen. He built new outdoor kennels for the dogs to come and run outside and pursued grants that would enable us to bring in important resources for the shelter.
