About: I have been around a variety of animals including reptiles my entire life. I worked as a veterinary technician for a year. I am trained to react quickly and have a decent amount of medical training. I am also experienced with handling senior animals including those with special needs. I have handled animals that are paralyzed, post operative, and medication dependent. I have no other job at the moment. This gives me constant availability. I have my own transportation as well as the ability to create my own schedule. I do constantly supervise my animals. I am easily able to redirect an animal before any problems can arise. I have fast reflexes from my time as a veterinary technician.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years. For myself but as well as for family members and friends. My yard is great for high-energy dogs but I can also accommodate senior dogs that just need love, slow walks, indoor play and relaxation. I’m a elopement/wedding planner! I make calls and hold meetings all from the comfort of my home. So I am able to tend to pups all day, as well go on walks often. They will be in safe conditions as I have a fenced-in yard and live in a beautiful park that is convenient for quick strolls. My home has a spare bedroom/office to which I dedicate to each pet guest that stays with me. Where they can have their bed, crate, toys, and other items to help them feel comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

About: My friendships with cats and dogs began as a child having both as pets. I have been a dog walker and housesitter/personal assistant in San Francisco for years and am now spending most of my time back here at home. I cared for medium and large sized dogs there with daily adventures to the beach, hikes and visiting all the amazing parks there. I love caring for client's pets in various cities as well as locally. I also spend time with smaller dogs plus some cats throughout New Orleans. I look forward to meeting your pets here! Often dogs are on new and healthy diets so I like to learn about your pets needs. Treats are given according to direction from you. I respect all pets diets and details of their routines. I love to take photos and video of your pets on their walks, playtime and lounging afterwards to share with you. I have an online business so my schedule is flexible and can be available throughout the day and evening. I am available for overnight stays. Generally I care for pets within their home so that their routines and eating schedule stay the same. That way it is less stressful for them when their person is out of town. Like us, they love their familiar surroundings, bedding, neighborhood, etc. I follow the rules of their house and happy to serve them at home. As a former property manager, I am a respectful caretaker of your home while there and can handle things that can come up for you.

About: I have an extensive background in caring/watching pets. For 5 years I have walked, house sat, and fed dogs/ cats in the Mandeville, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans area. I am currently a full time student at the University of New Orleans getting my MBA. Weekends are preferred but I can always fit in weekdays! I always make sure the client/ pet is comfortable along with adjusting to the pups needs within a certain environment. Safety and Trust is my top priority!

About: Howdy! I’ve been caring for various neighbors’ pets since I was a pre-teen. Absolutely adore dogs and their unique ability to connect with humans. I used to sit for various dogs in Los Angeles but now live in New Orleans as a librarian. Looking to walk dogs in spare time or pet sit as applicable! About: I really only have one year of cat care experience so I may not be the best choice for some of your more high-maintenance cats. I have been a dog person my whole life but this past year I inherited a cat and really enjoyed taking care of her. I know not all cats are easy but I am happy to learn! I am a part time student and work part time remotely. I have no set work schedule so can work around your schedule. The only times that I am not available are Wednesday and thursday morning and early afternoon. I am willing to do most tasks that are not obviously dangerous. I have had pets my whole life and know that some require strange or even less savory things so I am not going to judge any pets that need something different from the norm.
