About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have spent the past 12 years raising and caring for dogs of my own. I currently have two dogs: Wrigley, an 8-year-old Aussie, and Nova, a 6-year-old rescue Aussie/Husky mix who is blind and requires medications multiple times a day. Caring for Nova has given me hands-on experience with special-needs dogs, medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the patience and attention they require. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I treat every dog like an individual. My experience caring for Nova, a blind dog who needs medication multiple times a day, has taught me to be attentive to details and proactive about potential safety concerns. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. About: I have one year of experience working at Pet Supermarket, where I worked around many different types of animals and gained hands-on experience caring for pets. I also helped wash dogs in the Doggy Wash station, so I’m comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy making sure pets feel safe, clean, comfortable, and cared for. I’m a Xavier student with a flexible schedule, and I’m able to come home between classes during my breaks to check on, walk, feed, or spend time with pets. I’m also available after classes during the week and have more open availability on weekends. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to create a routine that works best for their pet. I live in an apartment with plenty of safe outdoor areas nearby for walks and potty breaks. I always supervise pets, follow their normal routines, keep fresh water available, and make sure they’re comfortable and safe.
