I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. I will always care for your animal as i would my own. ( spoiled ) I have a good availability and experience with all ages of pets. Including training to elderly animals who need special care. I am comfortable administering meds, and dealing with unique or special circumstances. Finally, I am reliable. You can rest assured that your baby will be well cared for. when I house sit I will keep your place clean daily. If you desire addition plant care or whatever, just ask.

Marisa is a wonderful sitter! She has so much knowledge and kindness for animals, I’m so glad Maggie is getting taken care of by the best! She is very communicative, patient and takes many pictures of your pet when you’re gone! I would highly recommend booking with her ❤️
Marisa was great with Dex! He came back in better shape than I left him with all their walks and games of fetch. She was patient and updated me regularly on how he was doing! Will be rebooting in the future :)
Marisa is my dog sitter from before she was on Rover and to this day my go-to for the care of my beloved pets. She does well with my big rottweiler mix clementine who is quirky as well as my Chihuahua Enyo who has very refined tastes in humans. Marisa has cared for my dogs for long and short stays (times when I was out of the country for months) and has cared for my older lady as she was on a complicated daily medicine regiment with no issues. I literally could not reccomend anyone more highly for your pet care needs. I don't know what I'd do without her help!!!
Marisa is extremely loving, caring and patient with dogs and animals in general. I would gladly leave my pets in Marisa’s care for any length of time.. she is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of my pets.

Planning
I am retired. This gives me great availability to care for your pet. I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. At times I prefer overnights at your place so as to not disturb my husband.

I have a fenced yard. At your home or mine we get plenty of potty breaks, walks, and play. I only leave the house to go to the store or appts.

I love to take the pets on walks. It keeps them physically fit and calm. If your pet is not able to walk far or disabled we will follow instructions. I still like to sit outside with the pet to provide stimulus or sun bathing. Playing ball or whatever your pup/cat likes to play at is also fun. Park or lakefront walks are amazing. When it is very hot, night and early morning walks are fine. I also will take pets to parks or shady streets with your approval.I do like to keep their paws cool, and make sure they are well hydrated. I am a certified dog trainer, so we practice walking nicely and interacting gently. I do meet you pet where they are at.
