About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing extra care, I’m confident in handling all kinds of needs. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, so I’m able to care for pets whenever needed. Pet care easily fits my routine, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pets specific needs and schedule.your pets comfort and routine will always come first. I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own home, which is why I only offer care in the clients space. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect in return. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: Hello! I'm so excited to meet your furry family members and walk and play with them! I recently left my 9-5 job and am spending my time doing what I love most before I head back to school in January for my Master's. That includes meeting as many dogs as I can. I was on Rover several years ago mostly dog sitting, and it was the best! But now that I have an almost two year old running my household, walking dogs outside is a better fit for me these days. For the last 7 years, my partner has also been a full-time dog walker, and I've been his backup the whole time. Now, we're officially making it a family business as I've started taking on clients of my own again! Over nearly a decade of dog sitting and backup walking, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m completely comfortable handling special medical needs and unique temperaments, and the NOLA heat doesn't scare me one bit. Let me take your dog out and I'll do all the sweating so you don't have to! I recently left my 9-5 and plan to start earning my Master's in January 2026, so in the meantime my schedule is wide open. My only restriction is I can't start before 8am as I have to get my toddler to daycare. I am a rule follower and someone who loves sticking to the plan. So whatever instructions you leave for how you want your dog to be cared for, I will follow those to the letter.

About: I have owned many dogs of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I have a lot of experience with miniature dachshunds, but I have also cared for many rescued dogs of different breeds and sizes. I also have multiple years of experience with senior dog care. I have been a trusted dog sitter off and on for friends and family over the last decade. I am an Emergency Room Nurse. I currently work part-time, which looks like one shift per week. I am free most days of the week. I am a single female with no kids. I have one dog of my own. I have personally cared for small and large dogs as well as dogs that live only outdoors or only indoors. I understand that each pet has different needs, and every home looks different. About: What’s sets me aside from other sitters is that I have had not only taken care of dogs and cats before, but I have also taken care of cows, pigs, turtles and many other animals aside from cats and dogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your loved ones! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 4pm. I am also available for two full days durning the week that can be flexible for your schedule. I have access to a fenced in yard. I do not have any children or other animals so my attention can be closely addresses to the ones I am caring for. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Raised on a large family farm, I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes and there hasn't been one I haven't loved! I have soooo many years of experience with caring for all different kinds of pets. I've owned horses, dogs, cats, reptiles, turtles, fish and have over the years helped with the care of others' as well as plenty of other farm and small animals. I even have my own temperamental pup coexisting with 2 kitties, so I have good intuition seeing signs of stress and pets feeling "off" before it turns into anything. rest assured your pets are safe with me! I've been working on a career shift and I'm looking to be able to spend more of my working hours with your pet! I currently bartend part-time and am working on trying to do less of that, so I have plenty of extra time to care for your BFF when you are unable to! About: I started pet sitting as my first job at age 13. Since then, I’ve loved animals. I spent 2019 volunteering at the Birmingham Humane Society and progressed in volunteering leadership quickly. About: I've been caring for dogs for eight years! I started in high school when I regularly looked after my neighbor's three dogs for anywhere from a few days to a couple of months at a time. I quickly learned each dog's individual needs: their walk schedule, bathroom habits, eating preferences, and how to get them to take their meds. They were all different sizes and breeds, and I loved every minute of it. Since then I've expanded my experience through Rover, caring for multiple dogs across a variety of households. When I visit, I'm responsible and thorough. I make sure water bowls are filled, each dog gets real playtime and attention, meals are portioned correctly, and everything is secure before I leave. Honestly, animals are just a huge part of my everyday life. I have my own gray cat named Pluto, who I've had for six years and who is absolutely the light of my life. Between my sisters and my closest friends, I'm around anywhere from two to six cats on any given day, so pets are my life. I would have had a dog too if my parents had let me! I treat every dog I visit like they're my own. There's something so special about bonding with a pet since they're each so unique, and getting to make new furry friends through is an absolute joy. I just finished my undergraduate degree so I'm on summer break before I start my graduate program in August. This means that I am completely flexible and can come in on any days at any times to care for your fur babies! For drop-ins, I cover all the basics: food, water, cleaning up messes, bringing in the mail, making sure everything is locked up tight. But what I care about most is that each pet actually feels loved while their owner is away. I take my time with every visit and give each animal real attention, not just a quick pass-through. When pets are worried, anxious, or want to play, I like to spend a lot of extra time with them so they can feel safe and loved.
