About: I've been caring for dogs for eight years! I started in high school when I regularly looked after my neighbor's three dogs for anywhere from a few days to a couple of months at a time. I quickly learned each dog's individual needs: their walk schedule, bathroom habits, eating preferences, and how to get them to take their meds. They were all different sizes and breeds, and I loved every minute of it. Since then I've expanded my experience through Rover, caring for multiple dogs across a variety of households. When I visit, I'm responsible and thorough. I make sure water bowls are filled, each dog gets real playtime and attention, meals are portioned correctly, and everything is secure before I leave. Honestly, animals are just a huge part of my everyday life. I have my own gray cat named Pluto, who I've had for six years and who is absolutely the light of my life. Between my sisters and my closest friends, I'm around anywhere from two to six cats on any given day, so pets are my life. I would have had a dog too if my parents had let me! I treat every dog I visit like they're my own. There's something so special about bonding with a pet since they're each so unique, and getting to make new furry friends through is an absolute joy. I just finished my undergraduate degree so I'm on summer break before I start my graduate program in August. This means that I am completely flexible and can come in on any days at any times to care for your fur babies! For drop-ins, I cover all the basics: food, water, cleaning up messes, bringing in the mail, making sure everything is locked up tight. But what I care about most is that each pet actually feels loved while their owner is away. I take my time with every visit and give each animal real attention, not just a quick pass-through. When pets are worried, anxious, or want to play, I like to spend a lot of extra time with them so they can feel safe and loved.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing extra care, I’m confident in handling all kinds of needs. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, so I’m able to care for pets whenever needed. Pet care easily fits my routine, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pets specific needs and schedule.your pets comfort and routine will always come first. I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own home, which is why I only offer care in the clients space. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect in return. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: Hello! I'm so excited to meet your furry family members and walk and play with them! I recently left my 9-5 job and am spending my time doing what I love most before I head back to school in January for my Master's. That includes meeting as many dogs as I can. I was on Rover several years ago mostly dog sitting, and it was the best! But now that I have an almost two year old running my household, walking dogs outside is a better fit for me these days. For the last 7 years, my partner has also been a full-time dog walker, and I've been his backup the whole time. Now, we're officially making it a family business as I've started taking on clients of my own again! Over nearly a decade of dog sitting and backup walking, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m completely comfortable handling special medical needs and unique temperaments, and the NOLA heat doesn't scare me one bit. Let me take your dog out and I'll do all the sweating so you don't have to! I recently left my 9-5 and plan to start earning my Master's in January 2026, so in the meantime my schedule is wide open. My only restriction is I can't start before 8am as I have to get my toddler to daycare. I am a rule follower and someone who loves sticking to the plan. So whatever instructions you leave for how you want your dog to be cared for, I will follow those to the letter.

About: *Pros with booking my service*: ~I am a full time pet sitter! ~Experience! (Ive been doing this for 6 years) ~Professionalism (I was a lawyer before leaving law to focus on part-time travel and full time pet sitting 😉) ~Trust (The majority of my clients are repeat clients) Hospitality and care go hand in hand with my pet-sitting service. For a house sit, expect your home to nicer than when you left it. Your fur babies will be relaxed and happy to see you when you return having been lovingly cared for in your absence. I will strive to uphold whichever boundaries you h have set up for your pup and work to reinforce training. Have your pup stay with a familiar face while you're away! In addition to personal experience with animals over the years, I have professional experience volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. One of the largest animal rehabilitation clinics in the world. I hope I can be someone you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your beloved furry one. I currently work full time as a pet sitter in addition to small freelance work so my schedule is flexible. On weekdays I will be gone for short periods of time but can be back every couple hours. I always make sure to get my pups set up when I leave the house. I'm a very hands on pet sitter. I understand the needs of animals and their lil personalities intuitively and I like to check in to make sure they are safe and happy.

About: Hi, I’m Ashley, owner of Woofrey’s Wags & Wellness! I have years of professional experience in the animal industry, including managing dog daycare and boarding facilities, as well as managing a veterinary molecular diagnostics company specializing in PCR testing for animals of every kind, literally A to Z, from anteaters to zebras! My background combines hands on pet care with animal health knowledge, allowing me to provide attentive, safety focused care for pets of all ages, breeds, personalities, and medical needs. I am also PACCC Certified, a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider, as well as Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where dogs are treated like family. Guests are welcome throughout the home and can enjoy cozy dog beds, the couch, enrichment toys, tunnels, brush outs, a kiddie pool, a fully fenced yard, and plenty of photo updates during their stay. Dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me if that’s what they’re used to, or they can be kenneled if that’s their normal routine. Because I have two friendly resident dogs, all boarding and daycare guests must be comfortable around dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and genders. Playgroups are carefully matched based on temperament, play style, size, and energy level. My home is generally best suited for low to medium energy dogs, and I especially love caring for senior pets and laid back personalities. High energy dogs are welcomed on a case by case basis. Safety is always my top priority, so I do have a few requirements before accepting bookings. • Dogs should be potty trained. I completely understand that occasional accidents happen, especially during transitions or with puppies learning routines. However, frequent accidents or ongoing indoor marking may not be the best fit for my home. • Puppies are welcome, but I ask that owners are completely transparent about their current potty training progress and care needs. • Please disclose any bite history, behavioral concerns, previous daycare dismissals, reactivity, resource guarding, destructive habits, separation anxiety, escaping crates, counter surfing, digging, chewing, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. • Dogs displaying normal stress behaviors such as growling, air snaps, baring teeth, or setting boundaries while uncomfortable are not automatically disqualified. However, true aggression toward people or other animals is not accepted. I maintain a zero tolerance policy for aggression within my home. Transparency allows me to safely manage personalities, prevent conflicts, and create the best experience for everyone. Please also let me know whether your dog is kennel trained, whether they need to be crated when left alone, and if they relax well in a kennel or become stressed while confined. Depending on each dog’s behavior and routine, many guests are able to enjoy supervised free roam privileges. Since Rover does not cover damage inside a sitter’s personal home, owners are responsible for any damages caused during a stay. Repair or replacement costs may apply, with a minimum charge of $100 if damage occurs. While my home environment is intentionally structured and carefully managed, I am also comfortable taking on more complex behavioral or medical cases within a client’s home. My care style focuses on structure, enrichment, positive guidance, manners, redirection, safety, and making every dog feel comfortable, confident, and at home. Every routine is individualized because no two dogs are exactly alike. If you’re new to Rover, feel free to use my referral link for $20 off your first booking. NOTE: Rover keeps 20% of sitter earnings while adding approximately 11% in fees to the client. The more I know about your dog’s routine, personality, quirks, anxieties, favorite activities, and individual needs, the better I can tailor their stay. I would always rather know too much than not enough. Thank you so much for taking the time to read through everything and for considering me with your pet’s care. I truly believe great communication creates the safest and most enjoyable experience for everyone, especially your pet. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I never take that responsibility lightly. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, and care throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or administering any special care they need, I prioritize their well-being. I also plan my schedule to allow flexibility for pet sitting, ensuring I can accommodate different needs, whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly fur baby to keep your pup company! There are plenty of enrichment toys to keep them busy, along with natural, tasty treats for some extra tail wags. It’s definitely a dog’s world in this household!

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Hi! We’re Britt & James — lifelong dog lovers, experienced pet sitters, and proud pup parents to our sweet girl Jessie 🐾 Between the two of us, we’ve cared for countless dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. James works from home full-time, so pups are rarely left alone and always have company throughout the day. Britt works a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing plenty of time for walks, playtime, enrichment, and snuggles. We each bring something a little different to the table: Britt has a soft spot for senior dogs and experience with pups who need extra patience and TLC, while James is great at keeping energetic dogs active, engaged, and entertained. Together, we make a calm, attentive team that truly loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality and needs. We live in a quiet New Orleans neighborhood with a fully enclosed backyard featuring double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play, sunbathing, zoomies, or just sniffing around. Our home is cozy, dog-friendly, and set up to comfortably accommodate different routines. Whether your dog is playful, shy, cuddly, independent, young, senior, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like family here. We’d love to set up a meet-and-greet and see if we’re a good fit for your pup 😊 Daily Schedule: James works from home full-time, so dogs are rarely left alone during the day. Britt works a hybrid schedule, which allows flexibility for walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Time Alone: Dogs are typically not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Walks & Potty Breaks: Regular walks and backyard potty breaks are built into our daily routine. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Overnights: We’re home overnight and keep a calm, consistent evening routine. We maintain a calm, thoughtfully managed home environment with our pup, Jessie 🐾 She’s a gentle, easygoing dog who has been doing great with others, and we’re very intentional about compatibility when accepting bookings. We only overlap stays when it feels like a great fit for everyone involved, and we’re always happy to do slow introductions or keep dogs fully separate if needed. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. We live in a cozy, converted New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your pup’s needs — whether they prefer their own space or like to stay close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Since we both work from home (James full-time, Britt hybrid), your pup will rarely be left alone and will always have a calm, animal-loving presence around. Britt is especially experienced with senior dogs and special routines, while James is patient and gentle with shy or nervous pups, particularly those who may need extra time warming up to men. We’re happy to accommodate crate training, medication, and specific routines to help your dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while they’re with us.
