About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

About: I have taken care of my dog and dogs for neighbors and friends.i enjoy doing that work because I love animals especially dogs and cats I only work part time. So there is plenty of time in my regular schedule to house sit and give pet care and walks and play I will take care of the client's pet or pets in the client's home as instructed by the client. I will treat them with love like I would my own pet

About: I’ve had animals in my house since I was a baby. I grew up with dogs, a bird, and many fish; and I eventually owned a cat as an adult. I am great with senior animals and/or those with special needs and can successfully administer medications or help with changing dressings for injuries. I am a freelance musician, so I make my own schedule. I have a lot of free time during the days, and my gigs usually only last a few hours in the evening time. My home is cozy and comfortable for pets! My neighborhood is very walkable and pet-friendly. I love to spend time with animals and keep them happy and entertained.

“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.

About: I've had dogs since I was a child and just have so much love for them! I have pet sit for friends & family for the past several years (dogs & cats). I have also been through obedient training with multiple dogs. I have so much love & good walks to share with your fur babies! I can't wait to meet & spoil your pet!🖤 I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup or kitty! I am available for walks or drop in visits in the morning and evening most days, and wide open every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a wonderful pup of my own to spend time with, so I am no longer accepting new clients for long in house stays. I would be happy to accommodate a shorter weekend getaway! I prefer to care for your pet in your home where they are already feeling safe. This way I am the only new variable in what can sometimes be an unsure time for a pet. I find that pets warm up so much more quickly in the comfort of their own home!

About: When you're raised in the south with a name like Caroline Savannah, hospitality comes easy. And I never thought I would able to combine my love of hosting with my love of animals. Enter Rover. I will strive to uphold whichever boundaries you have set up for your pup and work to reinforce training. Have your pup stay with a familiar face while you're away! In addition to personal experience with animals over the years, I have professional experience volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. One of the largest animal rehabilitation clinics in the world. I hope I can be someone you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your beloved furry one. I currently work freelance so my schedule is flexible. On weekdays I will be gone for short periods of time but can be back every couple hours. On weekends, I have the occasional night time gig and will let you know about those ahead of time. I always make sure to get my pups set up when I leave the house. I'm a very hands on pet sitter. I understand the needs of animals and their lil personalities intuitively and I like to check in to make sure they are safe and happy.

About: I have taken care of dog cats and animals ever since I can remember. As a child, a teenager and college student, I had a monopoly on taking care of my Neighbor’s pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior dogs, multiple animals and even birds. I prioritize Service and Care and don’t like to keep you guessing. I value communication while you are away from your pets. I currently do freelance contract work, sometimes from home, and sometimes from other locations around New Orleans. I have a flexible schedule with periods of time to easily step away and spend time with your dog or cat! I have three cats and a sizeable fenced in yard. Your pet’s health, safety and comfort is the highest priority to me. I can’t wait to meet them!

About: i’ve had cat companions for the last 10 years and co parented a dog for four of them. often i help my partner with animal sitting through rover and am a go to person when friends & family need someone to hang with their companions my schedule is intentionally very flexible as i work service industry gigs. i take time every day to hang out with and enrich my cats Nacho and Nugget the cats who i share a house with are provided with entertainment and engagement to keep them playing and happy. i make time every week to see the dog i formerly co patented and take her to the woods/park.

“Skyler is fantastic and I have no reservations about recommending her.. She was reliable, communicative, and my dog was so HAPPY -- both in the photos she sent as well as when I arrived home. .”

About: 🐾 Dogs have been apart of my life since I was a child. I started walking dogs as a teenager & I eventually became a professional & now have my own service company.. I am the Bywater Dogwalker but I serve all of Nola- not only Dogwalking but all services and take care of all sizes and breeds 🐾 My main job is my own Dog service company- and I’m looking to expand- pet care is my life and my goal is to open a facility I have 3 dogs of my own and one can be a bit testy, so I don’t provide care at my own home but will come to you

About: Hi! My name is Sonjia! I'm a remote-working entrepreneur which means I set my own work schedule and I can work from anywhere. This also means I'm fully available to care for your pets as needed - day or night, weekday or weekend. I worked in the oil & gas industry for 25 years (10 years with Exxon Mobil and 15 years with Royal Dutch Shell) - so I'm a mature, dependable, responsible, professional person who communicates proactively and honors her commitments. I will treat your home with the utmost respect and I will care for your fur babies as I would my own (like a member of the family)! I have several 5-star reviews for in-home pet and house-sitting on the TrustedHousesitters website and a few continuing arrangements where my service, care, and flexibility work perfectly for the pet owners. I also volunteer periodically at the ASPCA and Humane Society - walking the dogs, cleaning the kennels, and giving the animals some love & affection until they find their "forever homes & families." Additionally, I've been a pet owner many times over the years: several dogs and cats; reptiles (snakes, turtles); small mammals (guinea pigs, sugar gliders); amphibians (frogs); and fish. Basically, animals love me... and I love the animals! 😊 Because I determine my daily work schedule and I’m free to work from anywhere, I can be home with your fur baby during the day to keep them company, take them on an impromptu walk to play or get some fresh air & sunlight, and be available in the event of an emergency. I will work to keep your fur baby on the consistent schedule you’ve already established and make sure that their environment continues to feel safe, secure, and loving - despite your not being there!
