“Sydney was great! She was so sweet with my pup. Very communicative about his activities, and sent great pictures. She put me at ease and will definitely use Sydney’s service again!”

“Darin was very patient with my dog while we worked through some anxiety issues on our end. He was also on time and gave my boy some good, long walks while I was out of town.”

“Angela did a terrific job walking my dog. She was prompt and flexible with start times. She even walked him in the cold rain one day! I would definitely hire her again as a dog walker to help me out.”
“Lindsay is GREAT! Friendly, kind, punctual, communicative, and lets our very large, spunky dog give her alllll the face kisses! Most importantly, our dog loves her and took to her instantly upon meeting her – rare, as she can be a bit selective with new people. We are so, so happy to have found Lindsay and can’t wait to book her for more walks and likely house sittings in the future! 10/10 recommend :)”

“Michelle is wonderful with my new rescue pup, Harriet. Michelle is on time, treats Harriet like her own fur baby, and is a great communicator. It’s so nice to have peace of mind knowing Harriet is in loving and responsible hands. Thanks, Michelle!”

About: Hello! My given name is Rachel but I go by Gerome. I’d love to come help out with your pets- whether it’s sitting overnight, stopping by for visits, or taking them for walks. I’ve been enjoying pet sitting often for the past many years, through various platforms and by word of mouth. I grew up with beloved cat, dog and rat pets. I’m a plant person as well, so can happily tend to yours while you’re away. I can arrange my day around the regular schedule, needs and preferences of your pets, and give them plenty of company. I’m happy to provide daily updates with pictures. It’s an honor and a pleasure to get to spend quality time with pets in their own homes where they are comfy, and out n about on adventures! I love getting to know the quirks and character of each cutie, and providing care accordingly.
“Elizabeth has been very responsive and was great during our meet and greet. She has been very patient with my dogs behaviors and will be using her regularly for walking services.”

About: I have always been exposed to dogs, growing up in a house with several, which has taught me how to interact with them and speak their language. After adopting my own herding dog at 8 weeks I have taken several positive reinforcement training classes, read multiple books from different perspectives, and have been training dogs for the past 4 years using the methods I have learned. It is important to me to monitor a dogs behavior and body language in relation to other dogs and I am skilled at managing groups of dogs or problem dogs so that everyone has healthy positive interactions. Currently I'm dog sitting full time as I transition to a new place of employment so I'm able to give your loved ones full attention! I have a gated driveway with a fenced in backyard, also have a clean dog friendly minimalist house with room to play indoors, my priority would be making your pup happy and comfortable.
“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my house that I’ve taken care of since I was little! I’ll make sure your babies get a ton of care and cuddles when you need time for yourself. My love for animals shows through my work and you and your animals will see and feel it too! As a recent graduate who works from home with a dog myself, pet care is a daily practice in my home! I look forward to taking care of my dog, Peach and my current client, Zoe! I make sure to implement a lot of play time and cuddles to make your dog/cat feel comfortable when their parents aren’t home. I understand bathroom cues to let your dog out when needed!
“Ayanna was such a wonderful person to have walk our dogs while my mom was away. One of our dogs takes a little time to warm up to people but after a day when she realized Ayanna was there to help her, she gladly joined her sister in their daily walks. It was great knowing they were in good hands! Thanks you, Ayanna!”

For a house sit, expect your home to nicer than when you left it. Your fur babies will be relaxed and happy to see you when you return having been lovingly cared for in your absence. I will strive to uphold whichever boundaries you h have set up for your pup and work to reinforce training. Have your pup stay with a familiar face while you're away! In addition to personal experience with animals over the years, I have professional experience volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. One of the largest animal rehabilitation clinics in the world. I hope I can be someone you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your beloved furry one. About: I offer a multitude of services ranging from simple dog walking and dog and kitty play dates, to overnight stays for those pups who need some company while their parents are away. I will feed your animals on the schedule that you provide me, walk them however often they need, bathe them, and give them lots of love and pets of course! Even the most wild and excited pets I am willing to work with no matter how tough it may be, I am always up to the challenge when it comes to these furry critters. Just let me know what special needs your pets have, and I will accommodate for them. I love working with animals so no animal is too wild for me. I have recently arrived to New Orleans to study music. I don’t have a full time job, just little gigs here and there, so I have plenty of availability and flexibility in my schedule. I can organize my schedule around your pets’ needs I cannot care for pets in my home at the moment, but I am very respectful of the space when caring for pets in the owner’s home. I can crate the animal if needed, but I am also happy to sleep with them if that makes them more comfortable. I have a pretty regular sleep schedule and I wake up pretty early every morning so I’m here for the morning walks or feeding that some pets may need. I have lots of crafts and readings to keep myself busy so I have no problem staying at a client’s home for extended periods if that makes their pet more comfortable
Florida dog parents share their Rover experiences
We brought our dogs down for the first and needed a last minute sitter. Sherryanne was quick to respond and so easy to work with. She also did a meet and greet before we started the dog walk sessions to get familiar with the dogs. Highly recommend leaving your pups in her care.

Joey and Bodhi made an awesome duo! Joey is prompt, positive, a true dog lover, and an awesome communicator. He took Bodhi all over the city, showing him new sights and setting the bar high for any future sitter. It’s clear Bodhi misses him—he was such a great influence and brought out the best in my pup. It would be an honor to work with Joey again. Highly recommend!
