About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. Overall if I could give 6 stars I would and if I need a dog sitter in New Orleans again I know who to ask. Thanks so much Kenneth!”
“Ashley was fantastic with my dog, Neon. She made sure he was well integrated with the other dogs and gave him plenty of individual attention, including lots of games of fetch—one of his favorite things. She also kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn’t get overheated during the New Orleans summer heat. I loved that she had a kiddie pool in the backyard so the dogs could cool off while playing. Ashley was easy to coordinate with, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. It was clear Neon had a wonderful vacation while I was on mine. I’d absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter!”
