I had my sweet cat, Henry, for four wonderful years before he passed away, and for the last three years I helped raise and care for an adorable Goldendoodle who now lives with her other pet parent. About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: From Chihuahuas to Mastiffs, I've loved and cared for them all. I'm a responsible, genuine, and caring dog sitter living in New Orleans. I’m 34 years old and have been taking care of of other peoples pets since I was in high school. With enough notice in advance, I prefer to get time off from my other jobs, so I can be completely focused on taking care of your precious fur family, but can also be available last minute if needed. I'm used to being responsible for medications and dogs with special needs, whether they be physical, medical, or dogs who have experienced abusive pasts. I've never met an animal that I haven't connected and bonded with. I’ve taken care of deaf, blind, and other physically handicapped pets.
