About: Hi! I’ve always been a huge animal lover and grew up around both dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, and I also have plenty of experience pet sitting and caring for other animals. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away. I’ll treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, with plenty of attention, affection, and care! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make time for pet care throughout the week. I’m able to plan around each pet’s individual routine and needs, whether that includes walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, or simply spending time with them and keeping them company. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets can feel at home. I have a small yard for supervised outdoor time. I’m also happy to take dogs on walks or to the park for some extra exercise and playtime. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any care instructions.

About: I can take your active dog for long walks, give an older dog a little local stroll, or just give some love and attention to your cat. I have a big heart for all creatures, especially the furry ones. rest assured that whether going on walks, spending time outside, or enjoying snuggles on the couch, your pup will be secure and nurtured. I work from home and coffee shops as a freelance writer, so I can be available to care for your loved one during the day. I keep a pretty regular schedule, generally wake up around 7 begin work around 10 AM, take a lunch break between noon and 2 pm, and end work by 6 PM and am in for the night by 10 PM on weekdays. So, I would be able to offer 2-3 walks a day, depending on heat levels. I cannot host pets at my home, so I am only available to housesit or drop by for walks and visits. When in a client's home, I always clarify and follow personal preferences and house rules (ex. pets allowed or not on furniture, no guests in the home, etc.)

I make sure dogs get to stretch their legs, do their business, and safely explore the world through plenty of sniffing. Thanks to my extensive experience with multiple positive reinforcement and clicker training sessions, I practice calm, reward-based interaction to keep your dog feeling safe and confident. Whether I am visiting a dog or a cat, your pet will get my full, undivided attention. I always make time to play with them using their favorite toys and follow their exact home routine. I work 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday with all federal and state holidays off. I have full availability most weekends and holidays (even during Mardi Gras). I follow all clients’ directions whether entering their home or on walks. I will crate the pet if requested and cleanup any accidents or the litter box. I will always double check that all gates or doors are locked while leaving.

About: I grew up with dogs and have cared for dogs of all sizes with varying needs. I am happy to assist in maintaining training routines and can be flexible with work to meet your pet’s needs. I work for a nonprofit that allows work from home, so I can be flexible in order to meet your pet’s needs. I won’t commit to being your sitter unless I am confident I will be able to support you and your pet. I am available weekends. I want to help your pet feel as supported as possible, including any parts of your routine that you feel are important. I am happy to go over your pet’s needs with you and want to make sure I can provide the best care for them.

About: I've taken care of dogs for family and friends for weekends and overnight stays when they went out town. I've walked , fed, played, and bathed them when needed. Mostly big dogs and cats but I am comfortable with small dogs as well :) I work remote so I am available all day to watch your fur children :) I am flexible with my schedule as long as I know in advance I am needed . I will have your fur children in my home or backyard (depending on your requests). They are allowed to sleep and be on my furniture .

About: I am a huge animal lover and advocate for all fur babies. I currently own four pets ( two cats and two dogs). I volunteer at the shelter and give back to the community. I have pet sat for my friends and families dogs and only recently decided to do this as a side gig. If you were to ask any of my friends and family, one of the main things they would describe about me is my love and care for animals. I go above and beyond. Just last year I picked up four lost dogs and reunited them with their owners. I also helped to TNR the kitties in my neighborhood and now have 3 permanent porch kitties 😂. You will never have to question if your pets are in good hands. I am also familiar with medium to large dogs and reactive dogs. My two dogs are reactive and I have learned a lot over the last 8-9 years. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I can take your dog for walks or potty breaks throughout the week and even more flexible during the weekends. If your pet would need to stay with me, I have a large fenced in yard and a guest bedroom where they can set up their own space away from my animals

About: When your pets stay with me, they get my full attention. I'm currently freelancing and work mostly from home, besides the occasional meeting, in-person project, or event. I prefer to host one pet family at a time, so that I can give each client and crew my utmost effort, compassion, and care. I'm an avid foster with the Louisiana SPCA and have volunteered with animal welfare organizations across the state since I was a teenager. I'm able to work mostly remotely, and I try to structure my days around hanging with your pets at your house or at mine. When I do have to leave pets alone, I make sure they're cozy with fresh food and water, toys, and plenty of napping space. I ask lots of questions during our meet-and-greets and our communications to ensure we're aligned on your family's needs schedule-wise, and so that I understand your pet's normal daily routine. I try to keep my calendar current, so you can see when I'm available and when I'm not, but reach out anytime! Your pet stays with me whether in your home or at my own. My flexible schedule allows me to hang out and check in often. I have reliable transportation that allows me to fetch the essentials and the luxuries, like treats. My home has a fenced yard, so there's plenty of space for secure outdoor activities. I also have a pool, so when it's hot, there's a place to cool off. If I'm boarding your pet, I'll follow your lead when it comes to swimming. If your dog loves water, we can swim together, and if they're not a swimmer, I'll make sure we stay dry. I'm always happy to share more details about our yard during our conversations or a meet-and-greet. On walks, we use the leashes and gear you provide and that your pet is familiar with. Alternatively, I can also bring my own leashes if you'd like. I follow your instructions around feeding, routine, and medications (I appreciate having your instructions written down). I refer to your preferred vet and pet hospital information. As a local New Orleanian, I'm resourceful and knowledgeable about the multitude of pet resources in town that help your pet stay healthy and happy, from clinics that offer free vaccines to local restaurants that are pup-friendly.

About: Pets, cats and dogs specifically, have been an important part of my life since childhood — one of the best parts of life! My first cat, Merlin, lived to the overly ripe age of 20, and I now have a puuuuurrrrfect house tabby and a crazy old hound dog. Over the years, I’ve adopted and nurtured, rescued, fostered — been scratched, bitten, peed on, and cleaned up who knows how many different types of bodily fluids! It’s always worth the effort. I even worked for a veterinary clinic in my earlier career. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not knew to helping friends and family with their pets when they’ve needed temporary care or expertise with health, grooming, or behavior. Young or old, small or large, lazy or crazy — I take everyone as they come and am happy to extend patience, comfort, and playfulness as required. I’m not averse to health issues, so I’m happy to specialize in senior care. I currently work full-time, regular daytime hours Monday through Friday, so during the week, I’m available for early morning or early-to-late evening drop-ins and walks. Weekends are much more flexible as needed. For drop-ins or daily walks, I cater to your pet’s specific needs while respecting your personal home or work environment. I'm super flexible and am happy to work with whatever instruction you provide to ensure your pet has the stability and comfort that keeps them happy while their person is away.
