“Elizabeth came through for us extremely last minute and went above and beyond what we asked for in our request. We will certainly be requesting her again for future pet sitting needs!”

“Caitlin is amazing! She took extra great care of our cat while we were away for 10 days and made her feel like we never left, by giving her lots and lots of love. We’ll definitely work with Caitlin again in the future!”

“Gerome's natural ability to commune with animals was present during both drop off and pick up of my cat. I returned to find my selective/discerning sweet pea snuggled up with her pet sitter in a relaxed and trusting pose. She did not want to come back with me! I will choose Gerome in the future to care for my love. Gerome was highly communicative during my time away from my cat. She sent me many photo updates, which allowed me to feel at ease during our separation.”
“Lynda was fantastic! She was reliable, knowledgeable and knew how to manage my cat. She kept me up to date with pictures and photos. Will definitely contact her the next time we need a cat sitter! ?”

“She accepted my last minute request for someone to check in on my cat. Very flexible, and despite the fact I hadn't prepared, she took care of everything. Thank you!”

About: Hello! My name is Georgia and I am an animal lover! I grew up on a small farm in North Carolina where I was constantly surrounded by animals: horses, chickens, pigs, cows, honey bees, goats, cats, and--of course--DOGS! A few months ago, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. Since moving, I have--unfortunately—not been around many animals… so I joined Wag! to change that! I hope to walk, board, or care for YOUR DOG so that I can enjoy quality time with a wonderful pet as well as make money to continue pursuing acting in New York City. More on my experience working with dogs: Not only do I have a lot of experience with animals due to my upbringing, I also grew up volunteering and fostering dogs for a North Carolina Humane Society. I also spent two years working as a dog walker, trainer, and caretaker for an ethical goldendoodle breeder. I have worked with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs and am confident I can take care of your pup, no matter the requirements! I hope to meet you and your dog soon!
“Alaina is great! I always trust her to make sure my kitties are happy while I’m away. She definitely gives them lots of love and attention, while keeping them fed and clean!”

About: *Pros with booking my service*: ~I am a full time pet sitter! ~Experience! (Ive been doing this for 6 years) ~Professionalism (I was a lawyer before leaving law to focus on part-time travel and full time pet sitting 😉) ~Trust (The majority of my clients are repeat clients) Hospitality and care go hand in hand with my pet-sitting service. For a house sit, expect your home to nicer than when you left it. Your fur babies will be relaxed and happy to see you when you return having been lovingly cared for in your absence. I will strive to uphold whichever boundaries you h have set up for your pup and work to reinforce training. Have your pup stay with a familiar face while you're away! In addition to personal experience with animals over the years, I have professional experience volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. One of the largest animal rehabilitation clinics in the world. I hope I can be someone you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your beloved furry one. I currently work full time as a pet sitter in addition to small freelance work so my schedule is flexible. On weekdays I will be gone for short periods of time but can be back every couple hours. I always make sure to get my pups set up when I leave the house. I'm a very hands on pet sitter. I understand the needs of animals and their lil personalities intuitively and I like to check in to make sure they are safe and happy.
“Chloe is wonderful! So kind and communicative. This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit nervous, but she totally put me at ease. She agreed to a meet and greet beforehand and was so patient with my puppy. She also sent thoughtful updates with plenty of pictures and was respectful to my living space. Highly recommend, thanks, Chloe!”

“Ashely was an absolute rockstar sitter. We looked forward to getting our drop in cards for our 2 boys. The boys looked so comfortable and happy in her pictures she sent us and we knew they were in great hands! We found our forever-sitter!”

“Kelly was fantastic! She was able to work us into her day, despite the last-minute request. Kelly was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. All three pups loved her and were very happy on our return home. She came twice during the day and gave one of our dogs her medicine on the first visit. We are grateful to Kelly for the excellent care she provided and look forward to her helping us again soon!”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Loren is fantastic! She did drop by visits with my two high energy pities. They can’t do walks in the summer due to medication they’re on, so they need playtime in the backyard for their exercise. She was great, played with them and then spent some snuggle time with them during the visits. My two pups are big fans! I have a lot of anxiety when I leave my dogs, but it was clear that Loren is an animal lover, and she gave my babies tons of attention.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

Deana was awesome. I cannot give enough appreciation for the care and love she provided for my two cats while I was out of the country. My boys are super shy, and they were comfortable enough with her to come out, get treats and cuddles, and she even put my trash bin out for trash day. Will absolutely utilize her services again!

Caitlin went above and beyond for my spoiled cat and gave her absolute princess treatment with treats, cuddles and play time. I got so many beautiful updates, photos and videos to help me get through being so far away from her, and I'm keeping them all! Can't recommend her enough!
