About: I will talk and sing with animals. Animals are the best judge of character so I make sure I’m always paying attention to their needs and energy. I know when to play and I know when to be calm for them. I have a day job in mid city, but I do have hour lunch breaks. It’s very centrally located. I also am a night owl so I am available most nights. I live in the bywater area so I don’t mind traveling to where I need to go. If it is a client’s home. I stick to the rules and requests that are made for me. I enjoy walking animals or playing in one’s backyard with them.

I work 4am-12pm but i’m always available after those times i’m a very flexible person and always free Sunday’s and Mondays! I always treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. In my client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. That includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. I also keep the home clean, send regular photo updates, and make sure pets are safe! I’ll stay close to my phone incase of emergencies and i’ll make sure your pet is loved and cared for!

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. About: Every time I'm sitting for a dog I love to take them to the park and play, nap, eat treats! I'm very in tune with different personalities and take that into consideration with how to communicate with your dog. I'm very flexible with schedules and am always free during the daytime. The reason I am interested in pet sitting and walking is because I am not able to have my own furry friend but love doggies. When you choose me as your pet sitter I can handle anything you need; puppies, teen dogs, and senior pups so giving medicine isn't an issue but if something is wrong I know to call the vet as well as you. I am also open to overnights and long stays.
