About: If you’re looking for someone who will love your pets like they’re my own, you’ve come to the right place! I have over 3 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from playful puppies to energetic large breeds and lovable little companions. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I even volunteered with an SPCA camp for several days and still enjoy spending some of my free time around animals whenever I can. Being able to care for pets brings me so much joy, and knowing they’re happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away means everything to me. I’m also a proud dog mom to a male Yorkie and a female Toy Poodle, so I understand the patience, attention, and daily care that pets need to thrive. Along with caring for my own dogs, I’ve also pet sat for friends and family on multiple occasions, giving me experience with a variety of temperaments and routines. When your pet is with me, they’ll receive lots of love, attention, playtime, belly rubs, and personalized care. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality and needs to make sure they feel happy and secure. pet care can always fit into my daily routine! I work 4am-12pm but i’m always available after those times i’m a very flexible person and always free Sunday’s and Mondays! I always treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. In my client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. That includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. I also keep the home clean, send regular photo updates, and make sure pets are safe! I’ll stay close to my phone incase of emergencies and i’ll make sure your pet is loved and cared for!

I have a large fenced in yard for the zoomies and I’ve dedicated a fold out couch for the dog in addition to my bed for any cuddle bubs! There’s a splash-pad and cooling stations so no one overheats after a big romp around the yard. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care on both weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize being present and your dogs will rarely, if at all, be left alone. I’m located in a quiet part of the outer 9th ward. My neighbors are friendly dog lovers too. I provide a calm, structured, and attentive environment where your pet’s safety and comfort are the top priority. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I adjust my approach to help each dog feel safe and understood. I’m experienced with crate use, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs settle in new environments. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and take care to avoid overwhelming situations, especially for more sensitive or anxious dogs. I know when to separate dogs and how to read body language before any accidents can transpire. In your home or mine, I maintain a clean, predictable space and ensure pets are supervised, exercised appropriately, and never left in situations where they could feel unsafe or stressed.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I lost my own dog, Maika, a few years ago. She was 14 years old but it was way too early … I’m not ready to get a new dog myself, so Rover has been perfect. I moved to New Orleans a few years ago from Minnesota, where I was also an active member of Rover. My partner, Jonathan, and I bought a house that was built in 1909 — originally as an outdoor market in Holy Cross. It’s now a huge open space attached to a large fenced in yard. Dogs love it!. The dogs hang with me and I usually leave the door open to the back yard, which is basically a mini park with several fruit trrees. The neighborhood itself is also wonderful, there’s a large open field that is fenced in, I a great place for playing fetch or chasing frisbees. The levee is also perfect for long morning or evening walks. I''m a writer and work from home, so having a pup or two around is a real pleasure. I often take the dogs on walks or runs along the levee. But there’s also plenty of space in the house in yard if they just want to chill at home. Usually I work and puddle about doing arts and crafts and doggy's tag behind. The yard has both sunny spots and nice shade… Perfect for the pups.

About: 8 years of vet technician experience, CPR administration of medicine. Knowing behavior and most important making sure they feel as if they are at home. My name is Brittany, I have full availability. I am looking to make this my full time job so I can finish online college for my bachelor's in psychology and attend to my daughter. I go by Desirae as well. I have a fenced in back yard and also enough bedrooms to separate any that need separated. If I go to someone's home I will do as they ask.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I've had dogs all of my adult life. I had 6 at one time and now have 2 Chihuahuas who I adore. I love all pets and want to be your pups best friend. I regularly pet sit for my 2 kids' dogs (Frenchie, Australian shepherd and golden doodle). I've also pet sat at a good friend's house for her 3 pups and brought my 2 also.
