About: Animals have been part of my life since before I can remember — one of my earliest memories is our Bernese Mountain Dog happily dragging me down the block. I've kept animals close ever since, so I've got real, hands-on experience with pets at every life stage, from housebreaking a new puppy to helping an arthritic senior get comfortable on the stairs. Friends have been handing me their dogs for years too — weekend trips, last-minute favors — so caring for someone else's pet like my own isn't new territory for me. I offer drop-in visits and house sitting, and however we're spending time together, my goal is the same: keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible. Animals feel safest when their world doesn't change while you're away — same walk times, same feeding schedule, same bedtime ritual — so I take the time to learn what "normal" looks like for yours specifically. These days I share my home with two rescue cats — Cucumber, an 8-lb grumpy old man who insists on being called "a good boy," and Daisy, his partner in running the household — and Jeffrey, a sweet Blue Heeler mix with plenty of opinions to bark about. Expect photo and video updates throughout our time together, plus extra playtime worked in whenever your pet's up for it. Every animal is different, and I take the time to read their cues and meet them where they're at. Some want a full-on wrestling match, others just want quiet company. There's no better feeling than when an animal decides you're good people. My weekdays are anchored around an office schedule, with an hour lunch break free for a midday check-in when it fits, a nice bonus for pets who need a little extra attention during the day. Mon-Weds I'm in the office; Thurs and Fri vary week to week, but I can typically work remotely (just ask, and I'll confirm based on my schedule). All evenings and weekends are open for pet care. I try to keep a consistent routine so I can offer reliable, dependable care around your pet's needs. Most of my care happens in your home, with drop-in visits and overnight house sitting, so I start by getting a feel for your routines, your entry points, and any house rules that matter to you. From there, I just stick close to what you've told me: feeding on schedule, walks or playtime as usual, doors and gates checked every time I'm in and out. Mostly it comes down to paying attention to your pet, your space, and anything that seems off

About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. I decided to take this opportunity to open my home & heart to your pets. For me and my children, this is a win / win situation. We love caring for animals and we love the joy they bring to our home. We live in a cozy house in mid-city with a fully fenced in yard for dogs who wants to run and sniff and explore. My children, aged 8 & 4, have grown up with pets their whole lives and love participating in the day to day care. They are gentle and know how to approach and interact with animals of all ages and sizes. We’ve hosted dogs and cats in our home and we truly love doing so. I am active and will take your dog for as many walks and/or jogs as they desire. I also have a fenced in yard for those who want to roam and sniff around. I work from home so your pet will have company all day and rarely be left alone. I am available for on-demand walks, scratches and cuddles. I have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats. Before hosting or caring for any pet, I'm happy to meet with you to get to know your unique pet’s needs and temperament. I work from home so I am almost always around to provide on-demand cuddles, scratches, and walks for pets who are staying with us in our home. When caring for your pets in your home, my schedule means I have a lot of flexibility to work around your pet’s unique routine and needs. As a remote worker, I can work from anywhere and can provide extra love, support, and company for pets when their family is out of town. My home is quiet and comfortable with a fully fenced in back yard for dogs who want to run or sniff or feel the sun on their skin. My day to day routine is pretty quiet during this chapter of my life and I enjoy the loving & peaceful company of pets.
