“Sarah is a wonderful dog sitter! I’ve had to call her last minute a few times and she is always quick to respond. She sends the best updates and I can tell she really cares about the pets she sees. I would absolutely recommend her to take care of your pet!”

“Simon was a phenomenal caretaker for my guy Cornelius. Checked in and out with every visit, communicated amazingly throughout the entire time. He definitely has a knack for taking great doggo pics. Was also able to accommodate a last minute booking and extension of service due to travel delays. Highly recommend booking with him if you want someone caring about your dogs much as you do while you’re not there!”

“Danielle watched our dog Finley while we were away on spring break. We both felt immediately comfortable with her on our first visit. He was very well cared for. I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

“Hanna is amazing! This is the second time she’s watched our cat and we had some curveballs this time with my cat getting sick. Hanna rolled with the punches and monitored our cat more than normal and even arranged her schedule to take her to the vet. She is super reliable and communicative and our cat loves her! Would absolutely recommend and will be booking her for any future trips!”

“Ellen is fabulous and went far above and beyond to care for my German Shepherd puppy during an acute medical crisis. She is caring and flexible and she provided frequent updates and progress 'reports'. I was lucky and grateful to find her as was Cocoa!”

“I appreciate all the communication and pictures from Caitlin. My pets just love her too. I felt so relaxed away from home knowing both my dog and cat were in good hands.”

“we love lindsey! she takes care of my fur babies so kindly. she sends pictures so you can see your little one is loving life which makes my day to see. i’d say book her up for everything, but not too much because margaritas and peaches need her attention and love just as well! 🤗”

“Robin takes such good care of our 16 yr old cat. Sends pictures and updates every day! We have used her for the past year and are very happy customers!”

“Ebony is so rare. They update and take care of your dog and cat like they were their own. I’m so grateful to have someone get to know my dog’s personality and be patient with them while I was away. It makes travel and being away more enjoyable knowing they are in good hands. Appreciate it more than you know. Mary Louise”

About: I bring over 10 years of dedicated, full-time pet-sitting experience to Rover, backed by a track record of 63 five-star reviews from pet parents across five continents. I didn't just stumble into pet care; I grew up on a dairy farm in Upstate New York surrounded by 200 animals daily. Because I've been around and worked with animals my entire life, I am highly intuitive and quick to pick up on their specific needs, quirks, and any subtle changes in their behavior or health. Over the last decade, I’ve successfully cared for dogs, cats, and various other pets in the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia—with many of my sits turning into repeat bookings. I am well-versed in adapting to new animals quickly, reading their body language, and providing confident, calm care for everything from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra TLC. I work remotely, which means my schedule is incredibly flexible and centered entirely around the home. Because I spend a lot of time working at my laptop, your pets will have constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and a lot of dedicated attention throughout the day. Honestly, I greatly appreciate the distractions—over the years, I’ve had several house-sitting cats take on the role of "office supervisor," and my colleagues always enjoy the feline interruptions during video meetings. Because I make my life on the road, there is really nothing that puts me into a routine quicker, and makes me feel at home faster, than an animal relying on me. Your pet's feeding, walking, and cuddling schedules will easily and naturally dictate my daily routine. Because I only offer house sitting in the client's home, your pet gets to stay in their most comfortable, familiar environment. Here is how I ensure their safety and your peace of mind: >>> Strict Routine Adherence: I follow your exact instructions for feeding, medication, exercise, and house rules. I want your pet to experience as little disruption to their normal life as possible. >>> Home Respect & Security: I treat your space with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, securing doors and windows, and handling tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants. >>> Seamless Communication: You will never have to wonder how things are going. I provide regular, fun photo and text updates so you can completely relax and enjoy your time away knowing everything is fully handled.
“E took great care of my cats, was communicative, and even got my shy cat to come out of hiding, which made me feel like I could really enjoy my vacation time. I highly recommend E!”

About: I’ve cared for many pets and farm animals since I was a child. I have multiple years of experience previously volunteering at the Kansas Humane Society. I currently live downtown and work from home with a flexible schedule. I have the time to share my affection with your fur babies or enjoy a long walk. I’m able to visit your home and spend time with your pet inside or let them outside. I’m also available for walks as short or long as desired.
About: Hi! We’re Britt & James — lifelong dog lovers, experienced pet sitters, and proud pup parents to our sweet girl Jessie 🐾 Between the two of us, we’ve cared for countless dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. James works from home full-time, so pups are rarely left alone and always have company throughout the day. Britt works a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing plenty of time for walks, playtime, enrichment, and snuggles. We each bring something a little different to the table: Britt has a soft spot for senior dogs and experience with pups who need extra patience and TLC, while James is great at keeping energetic dogs active, engaged, and entertained. Together, we make a calm, attentive team that truly loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality and needs. We live in a quiet New Orleans neighborhood with a fully enclosed backyard featuring double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play, sunbathing, zoomies, or just sniffing around. Our home is cozy, dog-friendly, and set up to comfortably accommodate different routines. Whether your dog is playful, shy, cuddly, independent, young, senior, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like family here. We’d love to set up a meet-and-greet and see if we’re a good fit for your pup 😊 Daily Schedule: James works from home full-time, so dogs are rarely left alone during the day. Britt works a hybrid schedule, which allows flexibility for walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Time Alone: Dogs are typically not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Walks & Potty Breaks: Regular walks and backyard potty breaks are built into our daily routine. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Overnights: We’re home overnight and keep a calm, consistent evening routine. We maintain a calm, thoughtfully managed home environment with our pup, Jessie 🐾 She’s a gentle, easygoing dog who has been doing great with others, and we’re very intentional about compatibility when accepting bookings. We only overlap stays when it feels like a great fit for everyone involved, and we’re always happy to do slow introductions or keep dogs fully separate if needed. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. We live in a cozy, converted New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your pup’s needs — whether they prefer their own space or like to stay close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Since we both work from home (James full-time, Britt hybrid), your pup will rarely be left alone and will always have a calm, animal-loving presence around. Britt is especially experienced with senior dogs and special routines, while James is patient and gentle with shy or nervous pups, particularly those who may need extra time warming up to men. We’re happy to accommodate crate training, medication, and specific routines to help your dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while they’re with us.
“Dani was fantastic! She even stopped in extra because my dogs were being a bit more needy than I anticipated! She kept me up to date with pictures and comments so I knew what was going on and we could make decisions together! She truly made it like my animals were her babies as well! 100% recommended!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for eight years! I started in high school when I regularly looked after my neighbor's three dogs for anywhere from a few days to a couple of months at a time. I quickly learned each dog's individual needs: their walk schedule, bathroom habits, eating preferences, and how to get them to take their meds. They were all different sizes and breeds, and I loved every minute of it. Since then I've expanded my experience through Rover, caring for multiple dogs across a variety of households. When I visit, I'm responsible and thorough. I make sure water bowls are filled, each dog gets real playtime and attention, meals are portioned correctly, and everything is secure before I leave. Honestly, animals are just a huge part of my everyday life. I have my own gray cat named Pluto, who I've had for six years and who is absolutely the light of my life. Between my sisters and my closest friends, I'm around anywhere from two to six cats on any given day, so pets are my life. I would have had a dog too if my parents had let me! I treat every dog I visit like they're my own. There's something so special about bonding with a pet since they're each so unique, and getting to make new furry friends through is an absolute joy. I just finished my undergraduate degree so I'm on summer break before I start my graduate program in August. This means that I am completely flexible and can come in on any days at any times to care for your fur babies! For drop-ins, I cover all the basics: food, water, cleaning up messes, bringing in the mail, making sure everything is locked up tight. But what I care about most is that each pet actually feels loved while their owner is away. I take my time with every visit and give each animal real attention, not just a quick pass-through. When pets are worried, anxious, or want to play, I like to spend a lot of extra time with them so they can feel safe and loved.

Cristina was awesome with our two kitties while we were on vacation this week! She’s very communicative and made sure to do all the random little tasks we asked her to do each morning/evening, as well as playing with the kitties. The cats were in great hands and seemed very happy and well cared for when we got home. Thank you Cristina!!!

Ashley was fantastic! We had a last minute cancellation with my dog’s sitter and Ashley was responsive and willing to watch her while we were out of town. I have a Rottweiler and she was very comfortable watching her and Daisy seemed to have a great time. I got detailed info on the check ins with lots of pics. Will definitely book again!
