About: I’m two blocks from the edge of the French Quarter with a large fenced courtyard, pool, and pet play areas. I can also do pet pick up and drop off if you’re staying nearby. I work from home so your baby will get love and attention every minute! I can accommodate puppies, baths, and pets that may need extra care. I am typically home 24/7 with the exception of errands, taking Cinnamon and Sugar to therapy visits, or the occasional meal out. At most, I may be away for a few hours but can easily adjust if your dog needs 24 care. My yard is completely and securely fenced and there are separate and customizable pet areas in case your dog must be separated or has special needs. There is no grass or dirt-only areas to limit fleas, other pests, and digging. The entire yard is naturally treated and pest free. All plants and outdoor furniture are dog friendly as is the shallow heated pool for supervised swims. There are no children, cats, or pets of any kind besides Cinnamon and Sugar.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a chinchilla in my family that I care for. I absolutely adore all animals. I work for a nature institute and have a lot of experience meeting the needs of and caring for a variety of animals. I can care for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and birds. I work full time, Monday through Friday. I am available for drop in visits and day care after 5:30 on weekdays. I am available most weekends at any time. I have 2 housemates that love dogs and cats. Your pet will be given a lot of love and attention from us. We have a small backyard but a good walk around the neighborhood will always be given!

Britt works a hybrid schedule, which allows flexibility for walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Time Alone: Dogs are typically not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Walks & Potty Breaks: Regular walks and backyard potty breaks are built into our daily routine. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Overnights: We’re home overnight and keep a calm, consistent evening routine. We maintain a calm, thoughtfully managed home environment with our pup, Jessie 🐾 She’s a gentle, easygoing dog who has been doing great with others, and we’re very intentional about compatibility when accepting bookings. We only overlap stays when it feels like a great fit for everyone involved, and we’re always happy to do slow introductions or keep dogs fully separate if needed. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. We live in a cozy, converted New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your pup’s needs — whether they prefer their own space or like to stay close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Since we both work from home (James full-time, Britt hybrid), your pup will rarely be left alone and will always have a calm, animal-loving presence around. Britt is especially experienced with senior dogs and special routines, while James is patient and gentle with shy or nervous pups, particularly those who may need extra time warming up to men. We’re happy to accommodate crate training, medication, and specific routines to help your dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while they’re with us.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.
