“Caitlin is always so attentive to Seuss’s needs (and our worries while away!). She’s very communicative and helpful. It’s so nice to know Seuss is in great hands while we can’t be home with him! We will definitely book with Caitlin again!”

“This is the second time we had Jenny check in on our cats while we went out of town, and I cannot tell you how much peace of mind it brings me when we are away! She goes above and beyond and makes it so easy. I used to really stress on trips about my kitties back home, and even lose sleep over worrying about them - but not anymore. We are so glad we found Jenny!”

“Devin was a life saver! Excellent communication and was very accommodating. Fantastic with our girls, who can be a handful when they are excited. They adored him from the very first meeting.”

“Sage claimed he didn’t have any experience with cats but he took care of Sophie without a hitch. He is courteous, punctual and dependable and provided all the care and nurturing she needed. His report cards showed a contented cat, and he was considerate in keeping our home neat. We will gladly ask Sage to come care for Sophie in the future.”

“We always love Keyona and this time we hired her to take our dog Lucy for three weeks while we were away. She was so flexible and accommodating, and she's the only one we'd trust to take our fur baby for that long. She acted very responsibly when she noticed Lucy was itchy. We always miss Lucy while we're away but Keyona sends pictures and let's us know how she's doing. It was so clear how much our dog loves Keyona when I picked her up and she didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Keyona!!”

About: I am a flexible, reliable pet owner and lover. I understand the amount of energy some can have, and I work to meet their individual needs. I love getting to know each animal's unique personality. I am available many days of the week to take care of your babies while you are away at work. I love sending updates to pet parents through out the day so that they can see what their babies have been up to. I also have an older dog with special needs, so I am understanding of pets with disabilities or medical needs, and I know how scary it can be to leave your pets with someone new. I am available to take dogs on plenty of walks through out the day to ensure that they are getting the exercise and attention they need. I have taken care of various types of animals for many years and I understand how important they are to a family, so I strive to treat everyone's pet as my own. I have toys and leashes and treats so that all my pets have a great time, and to make drop off and pick up easy on the owners! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available according to your pet's regular routine and needs. I like to stick to the pet's regular routine as closely as possible. I like to learn about each pet and it's owner so that I understand their usual routine, so that we can stick to what they are used to as closely as possible to minimize seperation anxiety and prevent any schedule disruptions.
About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
“I messed up and left the chain hooked on the door so Jasmin couldn't get in. Fortunately, my cats had enough food and water to last until I got home. Jasmin was very kind about my mess up and still came to visit and pet the kitten through the crack in the front door!”

“Deana was thoughtful and communicative. She also went above and beyond and helped me with my keeping my snake's water bowl filled while I was away. She took so many photos and I knew my powers were in wonderful hands. I would definitely book Deana again.”

“Addie is great with Willlow. Always keeping her entertained and getting any energy out of her. Also very attentive. Willow was licking her one paw and Addie let us know for us to keep watch of it.”

“Ashely was an absolute rockstar sitter. We looked forward to getting our drop in cards for our 2 boys. The boys looked so comfortable and happy in her pictures she sent us and we knew they were in great hands! We found our forever-sitter!”

About: I have had my own golden retriever for the past 5 years and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve also pet sat and helped care for other dogs for friends and family. I’m very attentive, patient, and make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels, and individual needs, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m currently a student, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care. I’m available for walks or drop-ins at most times, just ask! I am happy to accommodate different schedules. In my home, my dog is supervised, kept in clean spaces, and given plenty of attention. I carefully follow leash guidelines and any special care needs.

“I had a great experience working with Russell. He was friendly, professional, and very accommodating, even agreeing to watch my cat while taking care of 4 other animals for the holiday. He clearly cares about pets, and did a great job with my cat (although my cat doesn't have any special needs). I would certainly ask him to help out again.”

“She accepted my last minute request for someone to check in on my cat. Very flexible, and despite the fact I hadn't prepared, she took care of everything. Thank you!”

“James was a great sitter! He goes above and beyond what is asked to ensure that the drop-in visit goes smoothly. I thoroughly enjoyed the service and believe that my puppy really enjoys having him visit. I look forward to future services!”

“Ms. Rachelle is the most amazing cat sitter! Our elderly cat requires daily meds and Rachelle administered them to her, without issue. We are so thankful to have the peace of mind that our fur babies are well taken care of by Rachelle while we travel! We recommend her wholeheartedly and will definitely have her care for Shell again!”

About: Greetings, y’all! My name is Ashley, and I’m a public health graduate student. I am originally from the east coast (Maryland, New Jersey, Philly, NYC), and I’m a recent transplant from the southwest (Austin, TX). I’m currently working remotely and attending my Master of Public Health classes online so I have open availability to care for your pets while you’re away. I want to house and pet sit because we love to help people, their pet family members and their plants. I have my own “doghter” named Zoë, a 9-year-old black Lab that I rescued at 8 weeks old. When I decided to start planning to move abroad, I learned how house and pet sitting could allow me to have flexibility and new adventures as I travel internationally. As I prepare to move forward beyond the borders of the United States, I am new to exploring this platform through house sits in the city where I currently live. I want to pet sit in my own neighborhood because I’m accumulating reviews so that I can facilitate my move abroad where I plan to go to school, work remotely and house sit internationally. Since I'm planning to leave eventually, I have reduced the size of my container garden so I'm excited to have some houseplants and gardens that I will be able to tend.
About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
Whitney pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley has cared for my sweet Maggie several times in the last 2 months and she is so patient and sweet with my rambunctious pup! She interacts well and gives my puppy good mental activities! Ashley is always timely and gives the sweetest little summaries of her visit and lots of pictures!

Deana D. was absolutely amazing!!!! Right from the start you could tell that she absolutely loves animals and has a broad depth of knowledge as to how to keep them healthy and happy! She knows what has to be done to make the sitting experience run smoothly, and is communicative and helpful in every aspect of the booking and sitting. We could not be more pleased and will absolutely recommended her and use her again!
