“Jenny was great with my cat. This was the first time I left Harold for a week. She made sure to update me and send my pictures. I would highly recommend!!”

“I appreciate all the communication and pictures from Caitlin. My pets just love her too. I felt so relaxed away from home knowing both my dog and cat were in good hands.”

“Devin did a great job caring for Ramah. You can tell how much he loves dogs from the first introductory visit. He knows how to put them at ease. And he isn’t intimidated by big powerful dogs like my Akita. He is reliable and a great communicator. Devin also takes the best pictures of our dogs! He should be a professional pet photographer!”

“Sage claimed he didn’t have any experience with cats but he took care of Sophie without a hitch. He is courteous, punctual and dependable and provided all the care and nurturing she needed. His report cards showed a contented cat, and he was considerate in keeping our home neat. We will gladly ask Sage to come care for Sophie in the future.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
“We always love Keyona and this time we hired her to take our dog Lucy for three weeks while we were away. She was so flexible and accommodating, and she's the only one we'd trust to take our fur baby for that long. She acted very responsibly when she noticed Lucy was itchy. We always miss Lucy while we're away but Keyona sends pictures and let's us know how she's doing. It was so clear how much our dog loves Keyona when I picked her up and she didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Keyona!!”

“Addie is great with Willlow. Always keeping her entertained and getting any energy out of her. Also very attentive. Willow was licking her one paw and Addie let us know for us to keep watch of it.”

About: I am a flexible, reliable dog owner and lover. I understand the amount of energy dogs can have, and I work to meet their individual needs. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality. I am available many days of the week to take care of your babies while you are away at work. I also have an older dog with special needs, so I am understanding of dogs with disabilities or medical needs, and I know how scary it can be to leave your senior dogs with someone new. I am available to take your dog on plenty of walks through out the day to ensure that they are getting the exercise and attention they need. I have taken care of dogs for many years and I understand how important they are to a family, so I strive to treat everyone's dog as my own. I have toys and leashes and treats so that all my dogs have a great time, and to make drop off and pick up easy on the owners! I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be available according to your dog's regular routine and needs. I like to stick to the dog's regular routine as closely as possible. I like to learn about the dog and it's owner so that I understand their usual routine, so that we can stick to what they are used to as closely as possible to minimize seperation anxiety and prevent any schedule disruptions.
About: Greetings, y’all! My name is Ashley, and I’m a public health graduate student. I am originally from the east coast (Maryland, New Jersey, Philly, NYC), and I’m a recent transplant from the southwest (Austin, TX). I’m currently working remotely and attending my Master of Public Health classes online so I have open availability to care for your pets while you’re away. I want to house and pet sit because we love to help people, their pet family members and their plants. I have my own “doghter” named Zoë, a 9-year-old black Lab that I rescued at 8 weeks old. When I decided to start planning to move abroad, I learned how house and pet sitting could allow me to have flexibility and new adventures as I travel internationally. As I prepare to move forward beyond the borders of the United States, I am new to exploring this platform through house sits in the city where I currently live. I want to pet sit in my own neighborhood because I’m accumulating reviews so that I can facilitate my move abroad where I plan to go to school, work remotely and house sit internationally. Since I'm planning to leave eventually, I have reduced the size of my container garden so I'm excited to have some houseplants and gardens that I will be able to tend.
“She accepted my last minute request for someone to check in on my cat. Very flexible, and despite the fact I hadn't prepared, she took care of everything. Thank you!”

“Annie is the best. I feel so much reassurance when she cares for Gus. Feel very lucky to have found her and so does Gus! When I got home today he kept looking for her to come to the door and around the house!”
About: I have had my own golden retriever for the past 5 years and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve also pet sat and helped care for other dogs for friends and family. I’m very attentive, patient, and make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels, and individual needs, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m currently a student, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care. I’m available for walks or drop-ins at most times, just ask! I am happy to accommodate different schedules. In my home, my dog is supervised, kept in clean spaces, and given plenty of attention. I carefully follow leash guidelines and any special care needs.
“He has watched my puppy twice now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. He goes above and beyond what is requested to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He was very communicative and I look forward to continue booking with him in the future.”

About: I am a former dog foster parent, having fostered over 75 dogs from newborn to 13 years old! This includes blind, injured, and sick shelter dogs. I also trained a service-dog in training for a year. I have lots of former animal experience and I love walking. I start medical residency training next year and after I will have a furry friend to call my own, but until then, I cannot wait to treat your pet as my own! I am a 4th year medical student currently on a light rotation and with plenty of upcoming vacation time. I have lots of availability and flexibility! I live in a dog friendly apartment. I have lots of experience pet sitting and am looking forward to getting to spend time with your wonderful dog.
About: I have been around animals my entire life and absolutely adore them. Friends and family rely on me to take care of their animals while away and I have plenty of experience feeding, walking, bathing, and playing with various types of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses, and birds. Currently I don’t own any pets of my own and I’m missing their company! I currently am working from home on a lenient schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your furry baby in any capacity. I am extremely respectful of personal belongings and routines if you’re in need of in home care for your animal. I love the outdoors so I’m more than willing to come scoop up your dog for a fun day outside!
“Chloe was wonderful! She was quick to respond to messages, arrived on time, was so caring and sweet to our puppy, and respectful of our space! I would absolutely recommend her and would book again without any hesitation! Thank you Chloe for keeping our pup company and giving her lots of love!”

“Deana did a great job checking in on my cat over Christmas! She made sure to send “rover card” updates with pictures and a note of how it went each day. I would definitely recommend her!”

Us Naval Base pet parents share their Rover experiences
Deana D. was absolutely amazing!!!! Right from the start you could tell that she absolutely loves animals and has a broad depth of knowledge as to how to keep them healthy and happy! She knows what has to be done to make the sitting experience run smoothly, and is communicative and helpful in every aspect of the booking and sitting. We could not be more pleased and will absolutely recommended her and use her again!

Sarah was so good with our cats. She jumped in to help us out last minute. We have three young cats, one of which is really shy but he came out for her during her visits which is always a relief. She’s very friendly and professional, and our cats liked her! We were very pleased with her service. ♥️
