“Janna was great! She came by to meet our dogs before we scheduled our trip. The boys seemed to really like her. She asked good questions to get clarification on our instructions. When it came time for her to sit with the boys we had lost our old boy. So, she only had to take care of our young dog. He can be a real handful. She let us know she played outside with him and took him for several walks during the day. We are pretty sure he felt like a king! Some of our plans were cancelled and we did not have to rush back home so we asked if we could adjust the time she would be there. She was very flexible. Since we were returning the same day as planned only many hours later than planned, she returned late in the day to let him out. Not only did she let him out, she took him for another walk. Way above the call of duty! When we got home, Dugan was happy and relaxed. Janna left the house in great shape. She wash sheets - something I did NOT expect but truly appreciated. We were looking for a new "Go To" dog and house sitter and she fits the role perfectly. We will definitely be using Janna again.”

“Caitlin was wonderful with my two dogs. She was extremely responsive from the start--even before the stay--and communicated often during the stay with pictures and to give updates. One of my dogs has some allergy issues that require as-needed oral medication, and Caitlin was great about reaching out to update me on my dog's symptoms and then giving him the medicine. My dog also has pretty bad separation anxiety. Caitlin was wonderful with him and my dog even warmed up to her after a day or so--he's usually skittish when I'm gone, so that's really saying something!”

About: Greetings, y’all! My name is Ashley, and I’m a public health graduate student. I am originally from the east coast (Maryland, New Jersey, Philly, NYC), and I’m a recent transplant from the southwest (Austin, TX). I’m currently working remotely and attending my Master of Public Health classes online so I have open availability to care for your pets while you’re away. I want to house and pet sit because we love to help people, their pet family members and their plants. I have my own “doghter” named Zoë, a 9-year-old black Lab that I rescued at 8 weeks old. About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
