Hi! I'm so excited to be back on Rover after taking a break to welcome my child. I work from home full-time and now offer boarding in a private guest house exclusively for Rover pups. It provides a calm, comfortable space where dogs can relax while still receiving plenty of attention, playtime, and personalized care throughout the day. It's a great fit for dogs who prefer a quieter environment or need a little extra space to feel at home. Your pup will also enjoy a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore. I have two friendly dogs and a young son who live in the main house. Because the guest house is separate, boarding dogs can enjoy their own space if that's what they're most comfortable with. If your dog enjoys canine companionship, we can discuss supervised introductions based on everyone's temperament. Since adopting my second dog through a New Orleans rescue in 2021, I have helped foster over 100 dogs giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a senior needing extra care, or has unique behavioral needs, I'm confident and comfortable providing individualized care. I have experience with: Administering oral medications Walking large and strong dogs Dogs with separation anxiety Resource guarding and other behavioral quirks Puppies, seniors, and multi-dog households Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can tailor my day to your dog's needs, whether that means frequent potty breaks, medication, extra walks, playtime, or simply lots of companionship. My goal is to make every stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for both you and your dog. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. I'll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Kelly was amazing! She came in and fed our two dogs for a long weekend - they had never been left with a sitter before. Both are little old ladies, but they gave her a run for her money. They growled, wouldn’t come downstairs to be fed. But she hung in there and won them over! I never expected them to give her such a hard time, but she didn’t give up and by the last two days, they were all friends. I’d highly recommend Kelly. She did everything she said she would do and went above and beyond to make sure our two seniors were fed and cared for. Thank you, Kelly!
Kelly is a true professional and dog lover. Both our dogs took to her right away during the in-home visit and she took great care of them. Communication was excellent and we got regular photos which really put our mind at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation.

Kelly was beyond a great sitter with my 5 cats. Very conscientious and communicative. Devoted alot of time and concern to wrangling one of my cats in at night. I recommend her and her services to anyone.
Kelly was amazing! She was very communicative and sent us a lot of pictures of our dogs while we were out of town! She took care of our puppy and our big boy who was recovering from an amputated toe! She administered all the medicine correctly and we couldn't be happier! We will definitely use her for our future dog sitting needs!

Schedule
I'm up early every day with my dogs so I can be at your house as early as 6am for walks or check-ins any day of the week. I work full time but have flexibility with my schedule so I will just need 1-2 days notice to make sure I don't have any meetings that would interfere with when you need help and happy to do same-day service if my schedule allows! My work days usually wrap by 3:30pm and I can be available until 9pm or later if needed!

Safety, trust & environment
If I will be staying in your home to watch your dog, I will walk them twice a day minimum (if they are happy with that) or get them stimulation/exercise in the way you recommend included with the nightly rate. I can be home with your dogs as close to 24/7 as possible if that's what you/they prefer! I will always be respectful of your space, leave it in the condition I found it, and be available to be reached by phone at any hour to give you updates as needed! I'm very picky with who I trust to watch my dogs and always do a meet & greet first, so I'm very happy to do the same for you and your dogs to make sure you are comfortable with me as a dog walker/sitter!

A typical day
My favorite thing to do is walk dogs so I will be more than happy to take them around your neighborhood or if you're in Algiers, to Brechtel park to explore. I can take your dog to the dog park for socialization, walk them along the waterfront, whatever they prefer!
