I have a genuine love for animals!
Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I’m looking forward to taking care of your pet(s). I have experience working as a vet assistant in an animal clinic and kennel. I also attend Louisiana State University as a pre-vet student. Alongside my work experience, I have grown up my whole life with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. About 3 years ago, I adopted a senile dachshund from the shelter. He had many health problems and from working in the clinic and kennel I am very used to administering medicine. I also don’t mind cleaning up any messes your pet makes as I am very used to it. I am no doubt an animal lover and I’m looking forward to gaining more experience while working with your pets and taking care of them!

After school, I have a pretty set schedule with how I care for my animals. I have a huge fenced in yard that my dogs run around in. I have a little fence blocking off my cats from my dogs so everyone has their own little area and my guinea pigs are kept in their own cages on tables in their own little area. All of my pets are in great health and not to mention they are all rescues!

We had a great experience with Mackenzie! She communicated throughout the stay, left the house clean, and took such good care of my dog. She even treated him to a pup cup, his favorite. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. I’d definitely book with her again!
Mackenzie was amazing with my 2 anxious Shiba Inus. She took her time to get to know them and they loved here. Mackenzie was communicative and did exactly what she said she would. I would definitely recommend booking her for your pets!

Mackenzie is very passionate about animals, and animals are naturally drawn to her. She will take care of your fur babies as if they were her own. She gained a lot of knowledge having worked in a boarding kennel and vet clinic, and she truly cares about an animal’s well being.

Programa
I already have a part time job that I work in the evenings, 2-3x a week, but I am graduating soon and my availability will be very open during the day. I don’t work as much during the week, so after school I am usually pretty open. What days I am available does vary every week, but once again I only work about 2-3 nights during the week. I am definitely a workaholic and I make myself pretty available!
