Animals have been part of my life since before I can remember — one of my earliest memories is our Bernese Mountain Dog happily dragging me down the block. I've kept animals close ever since, so I've got real, hands-on experience with pets at every life stage, from housebreaking a new puppy to helping an arthritic senior get comfortable on the stairs. Friends have been handing me their dogs for years too — weekend trips, last-minute favors — so caring for someone else's pet like my own isn't new territory for me. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and however we're spending time together, my goal is the same: keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible. Animals feel safest when their world doesn't change while you're away — same walk times, same feeding schedule, same bedtime ritual — so I take the time to learn what "normal" looks like for yours specifically. These days I share my home with two rescue cats — Cucumber, an 8-lb grumpy old man who insists on being called "a good boy," and Daisy, his partner in running the household — and Jeffrey, a sweet Blue Heeler mix with plenty of opinions to bark about. Expect photo and video updates throughout our time together, plus extra playtime worked in whenever your pet's up for it. Every animal is different, and I take the time to read their cues and meet them where they're at. Some want a full-on wrestling match, others just want quiet company. There's no better feeling than when an animal decides you're good people.

Most of my care happens in your home — dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting — so I start by learning your routines, entry points, and house rules. I stick to feeding and walk schedules exactly as given, double-check that doors and gates are secure every time I come and go, and stay alert for anything that could be a hazard.

Zoe H has pet-sat for me multiple times and has always been extremely communicative with updates and cute photos! My dog and cats are extremely comfortable with her, which is a big thing because my dog has bad separation anxiety. When Zoe is on the job, I know he's in good hands. Not only that, but I've had the pleasure of watching her raise and train her own pups and cats. Zoe is always kind, compassionate, respectful and reliable. She's definitely the girl for the job!
Zoe is a natural with dogs and cats . She grew up with a Border Collie , a Bernese Mountain dog, and more than one cat including a Maine Coon. Shas been a dog and cat owner most of her adult life. She brings both experience and genuine understanding to every pet she looks after. She is kind, calm, and exceptionally patient—qualities that animals instinctively respond to. She is also attentive to a pet's individual needs. Whether it’s maintaining routines, providing comfort, or simply giving the time and care they deserve, Zoe consistently puts the well-being of her charges first. Any pet in her care is not just looked after, but truly cared for. I would trust Zoe without hesitation to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for any pet.
Zoe has watched 2 of my dogs on many occasions. From old man dog in his last year to a new pup that joined the family. They both loved her instantly. She is really good at training too. The pup learned all kinds of tricks and behavioral conditions that have stuck. And the pics of walking and cuddling give me great comfort. She is dog’s best friend. Highly recommend.

I work freelance, so my schedule stays pretty flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, whatever your pet needs. That flexibility means reliable, consistent care for daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight house sitting, whenever the timing works best for you.
