Animals have been part of my life since before I can remember — one of my earliest memories is our Bernese Mountain Dog happily dragging me down the block. I've kept animals close ever since, so I've got real, hands-on experience with pets at every life stage, from housebreaking a new puppy to helping an arthritic senior get comfortable on the stairs. Friends have been handing me their dogs for years too — weekend trips, last-minute favors — so caring for someone else's pet like my own isn't new territory for me. I offer drop-in visits and house sitting, and however we're spending time together, my goal is the same: keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible. Animals feel safest when their world doesn't change while you're away — same walk times, same feeding schedule, same bedtime ritual — so I take the time to learn what "normal" looks like for yours specifically. These days I share my home with two rescue cats — Cucumber, an 8-lb grumpy old man who insists on being called "a good boy," and Daisy, his partner in running the household — and Jeffrey, a sweet Blue Heeler mix with plenty of opinions to bark about. Expect photo and video updates throughout our time together, plus extra playtime worked in whenever your pet's up for it. Every animal is different, and I take the time to read their cues and meet them where they're at. Some want a full-on wrestling match, others just want quiet company. There's no better feeling than when an animal decides you're good people.

Safety, trust & environment
Most of my care happens in your home, with drop-in visits and overnight house sitting, so I start by getting a feel for your routines, your entry points, and any house rules that matter to you. From there, I just stick close to what you've told me: feeding on schedule, walks or playtime as usual, doors and gates checked every time I'm in and out. Mostly it comes down to paying attention to your pet, your space, and anything that seems off

Zoe is amazing! She’s super friendly, and knew the way to my girls’ hearts. She made sure to give them plenty of snuggles and made them feel comfortable even for the first time meeting them. She sent lots of updates and photos, which helped me overcome leaving them with someone new. I will definitely be reaching out to Zoe in the future for any sitting or drop in needs I have.
Zoe is an amazing pet sitter!! I have a very nervous dog that is not very trusting and he comes out of his shell when she is watching him, and in fact is sad when he has to come home. She has a gentle touch with animals and is incredibly communicative and reliable. She really loves animals and it shows in the way that she cares for them.
Zoe H has pet-sat for me multiple times and has always been extremely communicative with updates and cute photos! My dog and cats are extremely comfortable with her, which is a big thing because my dog has bad separation anxiety. When Zoe is on the job, I know he's in good hands. Not only that, but I've had the pleasure of watching her raise and train her own pups and cats. Zoe is always kind, compassionate, respectful and reliable. She's definitely the girl for the job!
Zoe is a natural with dogs and cats . She grew up with a Border Collie , a Bernese Mountain dog, and more than one cat including a Maine Coon. Shas been a dog and cat owner most of her adult life. She brings both experience and genuine understanding to every pet she looks after. She is kind, calm, and exceptionally patient—qualities that animals instinctively respond to. She is also attentive to a pet's individual needs. Whether it’s maintaining routines, providing comfort, or simply giving the time and care they deserve, Zoe consistently puts the well-being of her charges first. Any pet in her care is not just looked after, but truly cared for. I would trust Zoe without hesitation to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for any pet.
Zoe has watched 2 of my dogs on many occasions. From old man dog in his last year to a new pup that joined the family. They both loved her instantly. She is really good at training too. The pup learned all kinds of tricks and behavioral conditions that have stuck. And the pics of walking and cuddling give me great comfort. She is dog’s best friend. Highly recommend.

Schedule
My weekdays are anchored around an office schedule, with an hour lunch break free for a midday check-in when it fits, a nice bonus for pets who need a little extra attention during the day. Mon-Weds I'm in the office; Thurs and Fri vary week to week, but I can typically work remotely (just ask, and I'll confirm based on my schedule). All evenings and weekends are open for pet care. I try to keep a consistent routine so I can offer reliable, dependable care around your pet's needs.
