About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a chinchilla in my family that I care for. I absolutely adore all animals. I work for a nature institute and have a lot of experience meeting the needs of and caring for a variety of animals. I can care for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and birds. I work full time, Monday through Friday. I am available for drop in visits and day care after 5:30 on weekdays. I am available most weekends at any time. I have 2 housemates that love dogs and cats. Before each booking, I'll take the time to learn your pet's schedule, personality, feeding routine, favorite activities, medications (if applicable), and any household preferences you'd like me to follow. Every pet is unique, and I believe consistency helps reduce stress while you're away. For dogs, I'm happy to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, fetch, tug, outdoor time, or simply a calm companion to relax with. For cats, I'll provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, play and enrichment, or quiet companionship for cats who prefer affection on their own terms. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and organized, bring in mail, water plants, or handle other agreed-upon household tasks, and make sure everything is in order when you return. Communication is a priority for me, so I'll send photo and message updates as often as you prefer. My goal is for you to travel with confidence, knowing your pets are receiving attentive, dependable care and that your home is in responsible hands until you return.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. Aside from raising and training my own dogs, I helped raise and train service dogs for over three years. These dogs have gone onto incredible careers helping others all over the country! I would love to help you and your furry friend :) I am a recent Tulane graduate! About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
