About: I've never known life without animals! I've been responsible for pets from a very young age: from gerbils, to cats and dogs, to squirrels and goats, my circle of friends and family have always committed open homes and hearts to furry friends. Every stage of life, every shade of personality, I resolve to provide love, care and accountability. My personal dedication is boosted to professional assurance, as I am a long term caretaker at Mid City Animal House Daycare and Boarding. My part time work schedule is flexible, and I'm almost always in pet care mode since it's what I do! I am available for most services, from dog walking to house sitting, and if your pets would be good roomies with my pets, I am open to boarding on a case-by-case basis! I am comfortable caring for multiple animals at once, and following owners instructions with a keen eye. I am comfortable administering medications, special care instructions (i.e: elderly or special needs animals) and giving walks and baths. I am generally comfortable in unfamiliar places, maintaining a calm energy, respecting property and taking great care to give pets the attention they need in the absence of their owners. If you are interested in boarding with me: I currently provide a loving home to 2 cats and a dog. They are friendly, curious and well socialized with people and other animals. Dot, our boxer-collie, is especially good with dogs, cats and small children. For safety, we are able to easily separate pets either by partitioning/gating off rooms where they can maintain comfort, or utilizing the large dog crate in the front room where your pet will not be sequestered all by themselves, but still have a space they feel secure. I have no allergies, aversions, or phobias. I communicate well and will happily answer questions and provide references.

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. About: I love dogs and have devoted myself to local animal rescue efforts. I call our home "The Cecchine Hotel for Dogs". Over the last 10 years, we have fostered 200+ dogs (and a few kittens). We currently have 4 senior dogs in residence. I have extensive experience with seniors and special needs dogs (ex-blind, deaf, tripod). I have delivered and raised 3 litters of rescue puppies. I really have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs. I adore them all. I also care for a small flock of chickens and have "adopted" a pair of neighborhood cats who now spend most of their time enjoying my front porch. I am a self-employed writer with a very open and flexible schedule. I am a fit person who enjoys getting outside and walking every day. Snuggling a dog is literally my therapy. I have a decade of experience caring for dogs who are coming to me from very stressful situations (running stray, confinement in a shelter, or surviving the death of a loved one). I think of myself as a dog social worker. I try to understand what they need and how they can feel safe and confident. I provide a safe and consistent environment. I have house-trained and leash-trained more dogs than I can count. I only use positive reinforcement, and I am very patient.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own cats for 12 years, and I absolutely love them! I’ve managed to give my (very difficult) elderly cat an inhaler, I looked after and changed the diapers of my sister's kittens with Giardia, and I recently trapped and spayed a stray kitten who was pretty much feral, and now she’s our sweet cuddly angel. I can keep your litter box spotless, and I’ll make sure your baby is as comfortable as possible while they’re missing you! I am a part time student, making my schedule very flexible! I’m available anytime except for 12pm-5:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekends are great for me! Looking forward to meeting your cat(s)! I know cats aren't always the most trusting of new people, so I'll be sure to make them feel as safe as I can. No direct eye contact (at first), no loud noises, slow approaches, etc. If your cat needs medication to be administered, I will do my best to build trust before anything else. I want your cat(s) to feel as safe as possible.
