Our diabetic, kidney-compromised, 15 year old cat, Wylean, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, has been on a feeding tube since early November with a whole litany of medications. Nycole, a skilled and longterm vet tech, was able to give truly incredible, exhaustive care to Wylean for days, both during this latest stay to see my parents (my dad was and still is in the hospital for a broken hip) and during Christmas (to see my mother-in-law in hospice). Her three times a day updates were like something a seasoned vet would make, and Wylean was markedly better when we returned than when we left. She has gained the better part of a pound over the last month, and I credit Nycole for at least part of that. We will always be grateful. If we could leave one hundred stars, we would. A combination of empathy, high skill, talent, and an obvious, deep love for animals makes Nycole the best. Anyone hiring her is lucky, and we only hope we can hire her again for future trips. About: I’ve always lived with dogs! Growing up, I was constantly tagged to care for neighbor’s pets while they were out of town. Even now, my friends and their parents know I’m the first one willing to step up and petsit. I have basic experience with leash training young dogs, as well as encouraging stiff seniors to get some exercise. I work full time during the weekdays, but I’m available most evenings and excited to get out of the house. My weekends are almost always open to spend time with your dog! Pet safety is my top priority. I never walk dogs along busy streets, or where there isn’t enough shoulder to feel safe. I also do not allow my dogs to interact with others on leash, since this can be unpredictable. I’m not afraid to cross the street (safely!) to avoid a meeting.

About: I am an avid dog lover, and have had over 10 years of experience taking care of my own dogs (often 3 at a time!). I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and am able to give walks, baths, playtime, medication, and just company to any kind of dog. I am a very active person, in any kind of weather, and would love to provide walks and care to your dog. I am currently working weekdays until around 5 each day, but am available in the evenings and weekends every week. I can be available for early morning walks or evening walks, as well as house sitting on the weekends or weekday evenings. Safety is a priority for your dog, and I can offer crating your dog if preferred, as well as providing medication and watch over older dogs. I work in the healthcare field, and so I am comfortable giving any medication needed. I will give my undivided attention to your dog, to make sure they are safe and happy.
