I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.

I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. This experience was so wonderful. We are certain a big part of that has to do with how nice a person Alyssa is. Sending pictures throughout the days was an added bonus for us!
