About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re high energy, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“Michael is awesome! He loved & pampered our two little guys (an oversized pom & a papillion). We left them with him for 6-9 hours daily while helping my daughter move to an apartment in French quarter. We collected them in the evening & they were happy, fed & tuckered out from an active day of loving. If you’re anywhere near the French quarter of NOLA, Michael’s the man! Just hope he’s available when we visit NOLA again!”

“Roxanne was great at communicating and was very timely. She took very good care of our boys and we will absolutely be using her services in the future. Thank you, Roxanne!”

“My dog is actually ready to pack her bags and leave us to go live with Emily now! Sable needed to be watched during an evening event due to her separation anxiety, and she was not only happy to go to Emily’s house after we had a meet and greet the week before, but she also was completely comfortable and not even excessively eager to go home when we picked her up. Sable had a great time, and Emily sent many pictures documenting Sable’s day with her, as well as updates on how things were going. I have over a decade of experience working in the veterinary industry, so, unfortunately, I have seen what can happen to pets left with the wrong caretakers, and I’m very cautious with whom I entrust my pets’ care to due to this potential. I would trust Emily with any of my four dogs, and I am so glad she agreed to meet with me and watch Sable! Sable is happy to have some new friends built in with Emily’s own pack of 5 star canine employees (who were happy to show Sable the ropes, but also would have been content to take the day off and stay in their own spaces if Sable didn’t like or want to be around other dogs), and I am happy to have peace of mind that my dogs will be looked after with the same level of attention I would provide. Oh, and have I mentioned Emily’s yard and home? A paradise for pups and people alike with shade being provided throughout the day from oak trees and ramped decking (especially great for pups that can’t do stairs!), so the heat that may keep my crew indoors during certain times of the day at home is miraculously manageable at Emily’s house! This is perfect for those hounds that would rather spend more time outside, but the inside of Emily’s home is just as inviting with many comfy spaces set up for the pups to rest or play in a controlled climate. I hear guests are even allowed on the furniture! ☺️🥰”

“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“Stacey was very attentive and responsive. She’d txt me back within seconds. It was easy to set up Buddy’s stay with her. She sent updates and professional photos of him while he was staying with her. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.”
About: I have over 40 years of experience caring for pets and grew up surrounded by animals, which taught me how to understand their personalities, body language, and needs. I’m a former entrepreneur from Ukraine, currently living in New Orleans with my daughter and her family. We live in a large home with a separate mother-in-law suite and a huge gated backyard where pets can safely run and play. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive, especially with senior pets and animals who need extra reassurance or consistent routines. I focus on trust, comfort, and genuine care, not rushing visits or treating pets like a checklist. We also have two kind, energetic animal-loving grandchildren (ages 10 & 13) who enjoy playing and cuddling pets. My English is improving, but animals understand love in any language—and Ukrainian or Russian too 😊. I’d be happy to care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care is now my full-time focus, which means your pets receive my full attention and flexibility. I structure my daily and weekly routine around caring for pets, allowing me to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and extra check-ins as needed. Because this is my primary commitment, I’m available for consistent routines, last-minute requests, and extended stays, and I can adapt my schedule to what works best for your pet. My home is located in a quiet, private neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced and gated backyard, giving pets plenty of room to safely explore, play, and relax.
“Great experience!! Vader had a blast and I got alot of pictures through the process! First experience with rover and I think I will definitely use it again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs at every life stage, from puppies to seniors, with a variety of breeds and temperaments. Right now, I have a small breed senior who is still fairly active. I am typically at home, have a flexible schedule, and am available for drop-offs on short notice. Just let me know how I can assist! Your dog will have free range of the living areas, with regular supervised visits to the enclosed backyard, and will be walked at least twice daily or as often as requested.
“Ms Etta was wonderful! She responded very quick to my request as well as she is knowledgeable and will keep you updated on your pup! I had peace of mind knowing my sweet boy was well taken care of, she sent photos all day long and kept me informed on him! Saint came home and went straight to sleep😂😂 that’s how you know he had a blast! We will be coming back😁😁😁”

“Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

“Oshie treated Miles like family during his visit! We received pictures of him throughout the day and we knew he was in good hands right from the start! Oshie was a lovely and gracious host all around! When we inevitably visit New Orleans again, we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much!”

About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.
Dixon dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ivette was so kind!! She arranged a video meet and greet with me before hand since I was traveling from out of town and to ease my nerves. She absolutely spoiled our dogs while they were with her. They had endless treats, snuffle mats, and snuggles. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Camille! She takes such incredible care of my sweet Louis, and I always feel completely at ease knowing he is with her. Camille is extremely responsive, always keeping me updated with the most amazing photos and messages that truly capture how happy and well-cared-for Louis is. Her home is lovely, with a beautiful, fenced backyard where he can play safely and comfortably. Camille’s genuine kindness, attention to detail, and obvious love for animals make her an absolute pleasure to work with. I feel so fortunate to have found her — I know that whenever Louis is with Camille, he is in the very best hands!

We are so incredibly grateful to Quiana for taking such amazing care of our dogs while we attended my aunt’s wedding in New Orleans! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease, her calm, caring energy was exactly what our pups needed. She sent updates, photos, and made sure they were loved and comfortable while we were away. It meant the world to us to be able to fully enjoy the celebration knowing our dogs were in such good hands. Quiana is trustworthy, professional, and truly has a heart for animals. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate pet sitter!
