“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.

“Evlin was so so great with Prince. This was my first time using a sitter through rover and I'm beyond glad that all my expectations were met and more. She was super friendly and I know that Prince had a great time with her and Juicy. Prince can be somewhat finicky and I tend to get anxious leaving him in the care of others, but she made the process so easy and I had no doubt that Prince was enjoying his day care experience and being taken great care of. She sent multiple updates throughout the day, was very responsive, and you can tell she's a dog lover so I felt very safe leaving my boy in her care while I was at work.
