Susan C.

“Susan was great! She made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby with her for the day. She was very understanding with our extended hours, we were trying to see as much of the city we could in just one day. She sent me photos during his stay. Most importantly she was extremely patient and fully competent with Bosco’s separation anxiety. She was also very gentle with him since he is 15 years old and has aches and pains. I hope to go back to NOLA and have her watch Bosco again. Thank you Susan.”

About: Hey everyone, I’m a senior medical student using rover as a way to make extra money. I currently have a Bernese mountain dog that lives with me and have owned cats and dogs all my life. Im currently on a research elective and work from home, so I’m available every day. I can also be available on weekends if that is necessary. Making sure pets have food, water, and ample time to use the bathroom outside are my top priority; I can also walk them or bring them to a dog park if requested.

Wendy M.
About: I have been working with dogs, fostering, dog sitting, and basic training for over 15 years. I’ve had over 15 hours of classes on basic training for dogs, because polite dogs make for better long term placements. I love working with dogs & since I’m not currently fostering I would love to care for your dog. I work at home, flexible hours. I regularly do short dog walks with my dog, and can take yours along & I have a fenced yard if they need a bathroom break while I’m working! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes & breeds. I have a dog that is very well trained & laid back around other dogs. I’m able to give medication, assess problems, and most importantly give your dog lots of love & attention!

Maria R.
“Maria is one of the most loving, selfless people that loves her family including her fur baby. Fur babies and people instantly gravitate to her because of these qualities and I couldn't recommend her more.”

Danica & Louis M.

“Danica and Louis took wonderful care of our ten year old dog, Charlie, who has arthritis and separation anxiety. They sent us updates with photos, were very responsive and flexible, and we felt our dog was in really good hands. If we are ever back in NOLA with our dog we will without question use them again. Aside from being great dog sitters, they seem like legitimately kind, generous people.”

Nathalie F.

“Very kind and takes great care of my playful puppy”

Rose H.
“I don't believe I could find a better person to take care of my two dogs, which are like family to us. Rose loves animals - all kinds of animals and she would do anything to make their lives better and make them happy. I could go as far to say she probably spoils them more then we do and that's a rare trait to find. It's priceless to find someone like Rose because we never have to worry about leaving our dogs in her hands. We know they will be well taken care of, played with, and loved on just like we would. They get excited when they see her and that makes us feel so secure and happy. There's nothing like trusting someone with your dogs. I can't recommend her enough!!!”

Charlene W.

“Great. Sent me lots of updates. Will book again.”

About: Hi! I am a life-long Metairie resident with over 10 years of experience in animal care. I live in Metairie near Sam’s on Airline and have lived in the same home over 23 years. I have 2 dogs of my own, I work and go to school from home so I am home 95% of the time so your pup(s) won’t be left alone long. I do doggie daycare, doggie home visits at your home and doggie extended care in my home. I was a dog foster mom for over 6 years, including dogs in fostice, and have been a dog sitter for the last 4 1/2 years but have always loved and been around animals my whole life. I serve the New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Harahan area and offer the following: 🐶 dog-walking 🐶 pet-sitting house calls 🐶 private boarding for dogs 🐶 pet transport to/from the groomer, veterinary or any other appointments, if needed while in my care. 🐾 I don’t use crates when I board dogs in my home (unless requested by the owner or if owner is doing crate training) 🐾Pups boarding with me stay in a calming home environment with pet accessible furniture, a huge backyard and a “dog room” where the dogs I sit for love to lounge in and watch Dog TV, which is music and calming videos designed for dogs, and play with the many dog puzzle games and toys I provide. 🐾I also provide beds and dog cots. 🐾All you need to provide is your pups food and feeding schedule, treats and any allergies or important information I need to know about your pup for them to have a relaxing, happy stay! I also have a lot of experience with senior dogs and dogs on medication. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meet & greet just send me a message. I will also happily provide references of other very happy current clients upon request. I’m currently working from home running a small personalized craft business and I set my own hours. I also go to school from home part time. I’m very flexible to watch your babies, day/nights/weekends. I have a very large fenced yard with plenty of space to run around and walk my pups at least 2ce a day. I also have a son with Autism (highly functioning) who gives our own babies, Peanut Butter & Domino lots of hugs and kisses too so your pup will get plenty of love! I’m sorry I cannot watch German Shepherds or Pit Bulls because my son is petrified of those 2 breeds. Thanks for looking! *Updated May 2023, unfortunately we lost Itty Bitty but he was an absolutely amazing companion for many many years and I miss him every single day.

Cristi F.
“Cristi has watched our dog Gryffin for us on many occasions. She treats him like her own and he loves when he goes to “Aunt Cristi’s” house. The house and yard are safe for the dogs to play and stay in. I highly recommend using Cristi to watch your fur babies.”
