Hi I'm Amanda. I'm really excited to be back on Rover here in NOLA. I grew up with both cats and dogs in my home, and have a lot of experience caring for both. Before pet-sitting I shadowed a few other sitters that do this full-time and can provide you with many references. When a pet stays with me their owners refer to it as a 5-star hotel where they are also loved. I have a two-bedroom home with lots of space to run around in,also live next to parks. I'm a kind and genuine person and I think animals sense that about me. I take pride in making sure each animal is comfortable in my home. I'm also a photographer and love providing the owner with great photos while their loved one is with me. I can keep you up-to date everyday with our walks and activity.

Amanda was fantastic! She took care of our dog, Leo, on short notice while we were visiting New Orleans so we could enjoy some dinner reservations worry-free. She was incredibly accommodating and welcomed Leo into her home like one of her own. He clearly felt comfortable and happy there—especially since she even had a stuffed Lamb Chop toy waiting for him! We’re so grateful for her flexibility and the care she showed. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a kind, reliable sitter!
Amazing experience for us and our dog Lil Buddy! Amanda met us at her door so could catch boat cruise, so we already felt really safe to leave Buddy with her because she was a good communicator. She sent us update photo, which made us comfortable enough to enjoy our anniversary lunch cause our dog was in safe and loving hands ♥️ We will book Amanda again for sure and would recommend her to everyone ☺️
Amanda was INCREDIBLE with Noel! even dressing her up for Christmas. I felt so comfortable with my baby being with her. She kept me updated with messages and pictures. I could not be happier. I will certainly bool her again.

Schedule
I work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your loved one and they won't be left alone. I will adapt to the dogs schedule that they already have.

Safety, trust & environment
Things are very chill in my home, we will likely be hanging out and watching TV. They are allowed to relax on the bed and the couch. There is a courtyard outside for quick potty breaks if needed and a dog park a short distance away.
A typical day
I live within walking distance of the dog park for running and exercising. Walking around the quarter and Armstrong park is also an option for us.
