I've loved animals my entire life (36 years). I started pet sitting as soon as I was old enough to walk to my neighbors houses alone (like age 7 or 8)! Once I moved out of my parents house in 2008, I began boarding my friend’s and family’s pets. I've pet sat hundreds of animals and fostered hundreds more. I’ve worked with just about every breed or mix of breeds you can think of but each one has their own individual personality! I love getting to know them and at this point I have many more dog friends than human ones!! My house is made for dogs! They are allowed on all the furniture and there are more dog beds than mattresses!! There’s even a twin size mattress on the ground and another with a bed frame just for the dogs. But my dogs and most of the dogs I babysit sleep in my big bed with me. There are toys galore and a nice size fenced in yard to sniff. I also have a huge second story deck that provides a great view of the neighborhood and lots of shade below. My youngest most active dog stays in a crate when I leave home. I also have extra crates if your dog doesn't usually have free range of the home. I want your pets’ experience to be fun and will try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. We will most likely stay up way past our bed time and eat a few more treats than normal, but that’s what vacations are for right? On a typical day I spent about 23 and a half hours home with my dogs 🤣 unless I've also got pups at someone else's house;) I've been watching dogs with Rover.com since 2017 and using an app bought out by Rover (DoggyVacay) before that! I have babysat hundreds of different pets and love and remember each and every one from hamsters to kittens to teacup poodles to great danes!! At my old house in Mississippi, I had clients that came over regularly for doggy daycare and clients whoms homes I visited often! I’ve spent Thanksgiving, new year's, game weekends, spring breaks with the same silly groups of pups for years in a row. I miss them all so much and I’m excited for them to come visit me in NOLA and to meet new babies to add to the pack 🥰❣

Schedule
Pet care is all I know. I love being able to stay home with my babies 24/7!! My dogs don't have separation anxiety from me its the other way around;)

Safety, trust & environment
I want to make sure your pets are safe while having fun! I often say there are no rules at my house, but we do have a few. When dogs come in all the dogs have to go up and come out to meet individually. We also separate to eat!!! I have a gate outside my front door and another screen inside the front door in case your pup may be a runner;)

A typical day
A typical day at my house is sleeping in and waking up for breakfast and sitting in the yard for a few hours!!! Lunch for me means a lot of cute noses and puppy dog eyes gathered around!! My perfect day is a few sleepy pups to keep me warm on the couch and two silly dogs bouncing around tugging toys keeping me entertained!! The backdoor is open and it feels nice out!! We'll throw the ball and keep the barking at the neighbors and birds to a minimum;) dinner time and snuggles before I stay up painting till midnight!!! Climb in the middle of a puppy cuddle puddle to sleep and get up and do it all over again! If I'm coming to your house to walk your pup or hang out there I'll just follow your pets around and do whatever they seem to enjoy. Walk where they'd like to walk, play games, or I give the very best scritches!! I also take A LOT of pictures!
