Hi, I’m Amira! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12, starting with my own two rescue pups and eventually helping friends and family with dogs of all ages, breeds, and needs. I specialize in caring for lower energy dogs, small breeds, and senior pups who enjoy a calm, cozy environment. Because I have with a chronic health condition, I’m not the best match for high-energy dogs or those who need a lot of intense physical or mental stimulation throughout the day. However, if your dog enjoys quiet companionship, slow walks, and a peaceful routine, we’ll be a perfect fit! I provide gentle, loving care and a relaxed home with a big backyard where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. Let me know if you have any questions. I’d love to meet you and your pup!

I have a large fenced-in yard. I can crate if desired inside. I have no pets, no kids, and do not smoke. I stay with the dog at all times whether at my home or at their home.

Precious. Amira, and her mother who was in town, could not have been sweeter with me and my precious pup. She was communicative, flexible, and understanding. Having an older pup, I always worry about her wellbeing but she was so well taken care of. I would not hesitate using Amira again!!
Amira is wonderful! She took such good care of my pup and made sure she had everything she needed like a walk with lots of sniffing time and plenty of cuddles. If you want attentive and loving care for your pup I highly recommend Amira!

Our pandemic dog Junior is a picky one, but he sure loves Amira! Going back to daycare a second time usually means shivering in the car, going limp on the pavement, and/or peeing on the lobby floor. You name it. With Amira our pup is completely at ease. Junior had so much fun with Amira that the next time he recognized the street from the car right away. Yipping and wagging with excitement, he basically dragged me to the front door. Amira showers Junior with love and attention--exactly what he needs. She sent us these amazing photoshoots (we still keep them), with updates on his mood and activities during the day without us asking. Amira is super transparent and trustworthy about any challenges, like that time Junior climbed the stairs and was too scared to come down... She is also easy about scheduling and flexible. Amira is the best! 10/10 recommend.
Amira is a loving and engaging caregiver! Coordinating with her was easy. She has taken care of my dog multiple times and it was clear that he got plenty of exercise and attention while I was gone. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go to Amira again. She rocks!

Schedule
I'm currently between jobs, so I have full-time availability! I can walk and board dogs all week, including weekends. I prefer walks after 8am, but can accommodate as needed.
