About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.

About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.

About: Mine was a dog family. My parents showed Chow Chows and Bichon Frisés at dog shows around the country with me in tow as a junior handler grooming, training, and caring for our dogs. In college, rather than wait tables, I worked as a kennel assistant and then as a veterinarian assistant during post-grad, spending weekends caring for medical boarders, administering meds and keeping lonely, isolated dogs company.
