“She’s great especially on the short notice I gave her! My dog had so much fun and she sent lots of pictures! I would definetly recommend her if you need someone to watch your dogs!”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Ashley was a true professional and made sure my dog had a well balanced day of rest, play and walking ! I am definitely planning to request more dog sitting from her!”

“Took wonderful care of our boys so we could enjoy our visit to NOLA. He was right in the French quarter so it was very convenient. Thank you so much Michael!”
About: I have over 40 years of experience caring for animals and grew up surrounded by pets. Caring for dogs is not just something I do—it is a part of who I am. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and emotional needs, and I treat each one as a member of our family. We provide personalized, family-style care in a loving home—never a kennel. Your dog will enjoy constant companionship, attention, and affection, as someone is almost always home. My daughter, grandchildren, and I all help care for our furry guests, ensuring plenty of playtime, cuddles, belly rubs, and loving interaction throughout the day. 🐾❤️ Dogs staying with us enjoy: • Two daily walks of up to 2 miles each (adjusted for age and energy level) • A large, fully fenced backyard for safe play and exploration • Plenty of supervised outdoor time and exercise • Homemade organic dog treats (with owner approval) • Unlimited tummy rubs, cuddles, and affection • Comfortable sleeping arrangements—including sleeping in bed with us if that is what your dog is used to at home • Consistent routines to help them feel secure and relaxed We live in a spacious home in New Orleans with a huge gated backyard and a separate mother-in-law suite, providing plenty of room for pets to relax, play, and feel at home. I am especially patient with senior dogs, anxious pets, and those who need extra reassurance. My goal is for your dog to feel loved, safe, and happy while you are away—and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they are receiving personalized care, attention, and affection every day. My English is improving, but animals understand kindness, love, and gentle care in every language—including Ukrainian and Russian. I would be honored to welcome your pet into our family. Pet care is now my full-time focus, which means your pets receive my full attention and flexibility. I structure my daily and weekly routine around caring for pets, allowing me to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and extra check-ins as needed. Because this is my primary commitment, I’m available for consistent routines, last-minute requests, and extended stays, and I can adapt my schedule to what works best for your pet. My home is located in a quiet, private neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced and gated backyard, giving pets plenty of room to safely explore, play, and relax.

“Stacey was very attentive and responsive. She’d txt me back within seconds. It was easy to set up Buddy’s stay with her. She sent updates and professional photos of him while he was staying with her. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.”
“I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

I will always care for your animal as i would my own. ( spoiled ) I have a good availability and experience with all ages of pets. Including training to elderly animals who need special care. I am comfortable administering meds, and dealing with unique or special circumstances. Finally, I am reliable. You can rest assured that your baby will be well cared for. when I house sit I will keep your place clean daily. If you desire addition plant care or whatever, just ask. I am retired. This gives me great availability to care for your pet. I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. At times I prefer overnights at your place so as to not disturb my husband. I have a fenced yard. At your home or mine we get plenty of potty breaks, walks, and play. I only leave the house to go to the store or appts.
“Another great visit with Oshie! Halen adores her and walks me straight to her house on pretty much every walk! (On days he’s not scheduled to stay with her). That’s the highest praise he can give!”

“Hazel returned to Roxanne's for a date and she was so excited when she got out of the car I thought she might knock the front door down! She came back to us well played and very happy.”

“2nd time we have booked Ms. Olivia to take care of our pup Benito. She has taken care of him like if he was her own pup. Highly recommend her services to dog-sit. Thanks again Ms. Olivia.”

“Bianca was amazing. She was quick to respond and was so excited to see Oscar. She sent us some pictures of Oscar, exploring the house and being himself which made us feel very good. If we’re ever back in New Orleans, we will reach out again.”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“Beth has a true natural gift with pups! I’ve never seen Louis as happy as he is when he heads off to her—his whole face lights up, tail wagging a mile a minute. It’s such a relief and joy to know he’s in such caring, capable hands. Thank you, Beth, for taking such wonderful care of my boy. We think you’re the best and feel so lucky to have found you! 🐾❤️”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West End
Emily did a fantastic job keeping our pup for2 days. We contacted her the day before, and she responded almost immediately saying she was available. Our Roxy played all day with other dogs and took a few soaks in the kiddie pool. She introduced other dogs slowly to not overwhelm our girl. I recommend Emily wholeheartedly.

We can not recommend Lora ENOUGH! Her genuine love of animals was apparent the moment we met her. Our dogs were absolutely spoiled in her care. She provided frequent updates of our dogs and made us feel so at ease. Our dogs were so sad to leave her home! We will be using Lora as our NOLA dogsitter every time we are in town. Thank you Lora! 💕

Ivette was so kind!! She arranged a video meet and greet with me before hand since I was traveling from out of town and to ease my nerves. She absolutely spoiled our dogs while they were with her. They had endless treats, snuffle mats, and snuggles. Highly recommend!
