About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! “Ashley was fantastic with my dog, Neon. She made sure he was well integrated with the other dogs and gave him plenty of individual attention, including lots of games of fetch—one of his favorite things. She also kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn’t get overheated during the New Orleans summer heat. I loved that she had a kiddie pool in the backyard so the dogs could cool off while playing. Ashley was easy to coordinate with, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. It was clear Neon had a wonderful vacation while I was on mine. I’d absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter!”
