Doggy Day Care In Audubon

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals! I love spending time with creatures of any kind and have been pet sitting since high school. (7+ years) I’m currently a student and volunteer EMT, but as a second semester senior, I have lots of time to spare. I’m completely free on weekends, and only have one class (2-3pm) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I will respect your pet’s personality and house rules. My house has a fenced in backyard, and Audubon park is near by for fun walks and sniffs. I also live with 1 roommate who loves pets too. Lots of pats and snuggles given here!

“My dog is actually ready to pack her bags and leave us to go live with Emily now! Sable needed to be watched during an evening event due to her separation anxiety, and she was not only happy to go to Emily’s house after we had a meet and greet the week before, but she also was completely comfortable and not even excessively eager to go home when we picked her up. Sable had a great time, and Emily sent many pictures documenting Sable’s day with her, as well as updates on how things were going. I have over a decade of experience working in the veterinary industry, so, unfortunately, I have seen what can happen to pets left with the wrong caretakers, and I’m very cautious with whom I entrust my pets’ care to due to this potential. I would trust Emily with any of my four dogs, and I am so glad she agreed to meet with me and watch Sable! Sable is happy to have some new friends built in with Emily’s own pack of 5 star canine employees (who were happy to show Sable the ropes, but also would have been content to take the day off and stay in their own spaces if Sable didn’t like or want to be around other dogs), and I am happy to have peace of mind that my dogs will be looked after with the same level of attention I would provide. Oh, and have I mentioned Emily’s yard and home? A paradise for pups and people alike with shade being provided throughout the day from oak trees and ramped decking (especially great for pups that can’t do stairs!), so the heat that may keep my crew indoors during certain times of the day at home is miraculously manageable at Emily’s house! This is perfect for those hounds that would rather spend more time outside, but the inside of Emily’s home is just as inviting with many comfy spaces set up for the pups to rest or play in a controlled climate. I hear guests are even allowed on the furniture! ☺️🥰”

About: ive owned labradors since I was a kid. besides enjoying being with them, I used to walk dogs in my neighborhoods pets and took care of them when they were out of town. I work and have classes from 11:30/4:30pm but am always home after 5pm. I am usually home on weekends. I enjoy going to the park to walk everyday. I live in a house with one roomate who loves pets. we always mantain the doors closed and make sure there is enough air. we have a tiny yard but it dosent have fences so we cant take pets outside without their leash

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! About: I've had a dog since I was a kid and always loved them. I currently have three wonderful dogs, a pup, adult & a senior. I trained dogs 15+ years. I understand how to care for all kinds of dogs. I can administer medicine pill & shots. There is always someone home to care for your pet & will recieve walks & play time every 3-4 hrs. Its apart of my daily routine. I also have a puppy now so my son takes them out when I work. They go out at least 5 times a day. I have a large fenced yard and a room specifically for the dogs. There's always someone home to take them out to play. My other dogs are friendly and love to make new friends.

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs at every life stage, from puppies to seniors, with a variety of breeds and temperaments. Right now, I have a small breed senior who is still fairly active. I am typically at home, have a flexible schedule, and am available for drop-offs on short notice. Just let me know how I can assist! Your dog will have free range of the living areas, with regular supervised visits to the enclosed backyard, and will be walked at least twice daily or as often as requested.
