“Pauline did a great job taking care of Tupelo. She is very thoughtful about caring for Tupelo and asked a bunch of questions to understand the pup’s needs and routines. Pauline provided a couple of pictures and updates everyday, and was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we were a few hours late to pick her up. I would definitely recommend Pauline!”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Aja was amazing! She was attentive to all the details- sent photos daily of our fuzzy babies. Aja is punctual, great communicator and outstanding pet sitter. I would give her 5 out of 5 in every way. Plan to use Aja for all of our animal care needs!! Thank you & Mom so much!!”

“I highly recommend Regina. She sent pics of my baby after she was picked up. She went above and beyond to help me get my dog to her and from her. She is a fantastic lady.”

“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. We would absolutely book with Iryna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter. - Diana (and Roy)”

About: Hi! I’m Tay, equal parts responsible adult and dog hype person. I’m the type to send you update pictures like your dog just graduated college. Whether your pup is energetic, anxious, clingy, goofy, or convinced they own the house, I adjust to their vibe quickly. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely love animals, but I also understand that trusting someone with your dog is a big deal. Your pet will get plenty of attention, care, walks, playtime, and probably a few compliments they don’t deserve. I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines, from couch potato cuddle experts to dogs training for the Dog Olympics. I’ll follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests carefully. Bonus: your dog can vent to me about you while you’re gone, and I legally cannot tell you what they said. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! 🐾 I work from home, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, supervision, and company throughout the day. I’m available for daytime care, walks, potty breaks, playtime, feedings, medication schedules, and all the “throw the toy again immediately” requests your dog may have. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pup loves nonstop attention or prefers a calm nap buddy nearby, I can accommodate their needs throughout the day. I live in a very nice open spaced 2 bedroom house with a fenced yard and hardwood floors. I have a yard with lots of room for animals to play and enjoy themselves.

About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

About: I've cared for cats through pet sitting for friends, as well as bottle-fed orphaned kittens. I'm patient, attentive, and happy to follow each cat's lead—whether they want to play, explore, cuddle, or simply enjoy their own space. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free while you're away.

“Ethan is such caring and attentive pet sitter. He really went above and beyond during his time with Penny and really made me feel at ease during his visit. We will definitely be booking again and recommending to others!”

About: Cat mom and lifelong animal lover who will treat your pets like my own! I’ll provide dependable care, stick to their routine, and keep you updated with photos while you’re away.
“Sarah was great!! This was the second time she watched our pets (1 dog, 2 cats and a fish). She checked in on them multiple times a day, sent us updates, and followed the detailed notes we left her. We felt like they were in such great hands that we could actually enjoy our trip without worrying about if they were getting the care we needed. We'll definitely book Sarah next time we travel!”

“Riley was amazing!! This was my first time booking her and I felt so comfortable having her watch my cat. She was very professional, sent detailed reports, and took lots of pictures!”

“We can't say enough good things about Nycole. Our diabetic, kidney-compromised, 15 year old cat, Wylean, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, has been on a feeding tube since early November with a whole litany of medications. Nycole, a skilled and longterm vet tech, was able to give truly incredible, exhaustive care to Wylean for days, both during this latest stay to see my parents (my dad was and still is in the hospital for a broken hip) and during Christmas (to see my mother-in-law in hospice). Her three times a day updates were like something a seasoned vet would make, and Wylean was markedly better when we returned than when we left. She has gained the better part of a pound over the last month, and I credit Nycole for at least part of that. We will always be grateful. If we could leave one hundred stars, we would. A combination of empathy, high skill, talent, and an obvious, deep love for animals makes Nycole the best. Anyone hiring her is lucky, and we only hope we can hire her again for future trips. Thank you thank you thank you, Nycole!”
“Elizabeth was amazing! My skittish cats warmed up to her right away. She played with them & gave them extra treats. They’re very good motivated, so they’ll love her forever. Next time I’m out of time I’ll definitely call Elizabeth again”

About: I am an artist and dog owner with experience working as a private dog sitter for the past 10 years. I love animals immensely, and am so excited to meet yours! Every dog I get to greet is a gift, and I treat them as such. Through my own experience as a dog owner, and diverse experience with other dogs, I get to bring a lot to these new situations. I know how vital calmness can be, and keep myself patient. I know every dog is different, so please share everything you can about your animal and all their quirks! Getting to interact with animals is so much fun and so fulfilling, I wish to spend more of my time doing it when I can. I primarily work from home. I am available for caretaking and walks throughout the week/end and evenings, and can housesit your fur baby as needed. I like to keep the care of your pet as close as possible to their normal routine, so please keep that information clearly written out if possible, or we can talk through it together.

“Taylor was great with my two cats, Ella and Lulu. She kept me updated daily on how they were doing and kept my apartment clean and safe while gone. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Wendy took such great care of my puppy. As a new pet owner, Wendy put my mind at ease and made sure I was comfortable and that Daisy felt safe and had a great time. I loved the updates and could tell Daisy didn’t miss me at all because she was having so much fun. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
About: I have always had a passion for working with animals. I’m currently a grad student at Tulane studying animal behavior. Worked in many positions as an animal caretaker and have experience in trading grooming and a variety of different pet care from dogs and cats to exotic animals. I also have specialty experience with elderly pets and working breed dogs. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and treating them like one of my own! I am in school during the afternoons, but other than that, have a full available schedule to have animals both in my home, or yours. I offer a very flexible experience tailored to your pet and their needs. My home is all puppy proofed and I have yard and near by large park for plenty of exercise. I am set up for crate trained and not crates trained pups and can stick to any regular schedule you need.

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“2nd time we have booked Ms. Olivia to take care of our pup Benito. She has taken care of him like if he was her own pup. Highly recommend her services to dog-sit. Thanks again Ms. Olivia.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I usually watch just one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m a dedicated dog owner myself, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. As the owner of a Golden Retriever, I have hands-on daily experience with exercise needs, routines, leash walking, playtime, and providing loving attention. I’m patient, dependable, and focused on making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy during our time together. Whether your dog is energetic and needs an active walk or prefers a slower pace, I can adjust to their needs and personality. I also understand the importance of communication and will keep you updated so you feel confident while your pet is in my care. Every boarding includes: * Personalized care based on your dog’s routine * Regular photo and video updates * Frequent walks and potty breaks * A personalized end-of-stay report summarizing your dog’s meals, walks, behavior, and overall experience Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I care for every dog as an individual by following their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay so you can have peace of mind while you’re away, and every boarding concludes with a personalized summary of your dog’s stay. My goal is to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.
About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire adulthood. Animals are angels on earth and truly part of what makes life so special. I don’t trust just anyone with my own fur baby, so I understand how stressful it can be to find someone to care for them when you need to travel or work extended hours. My entire family has dogs and I occasionally pet sit for relatives or friends who need it, so I figured I could do that more consistently to help others as well. I am between jobs and exploring what comes next, so I’m available all the time to love and care for your pups while you are at work or on vacation. I have a fenced backyard that pups can run around in. I am liberal with giving treats, but will absolutely respect and follow what your dog’s feeding and treat needs are. I love engaging with pups and learning their personalities, so they won’t be ignored in any way while they are with me. Senior dogs are welcome.

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“Emily is absolutely amazing. She is the only person I bring Petey to when I will be out of town and need someone to take care of him or when I need to drop him off for the day! She is really great with all dogs and her animals are super friendly and accepting. She also takes plenty pictures and gives updates via rover and text regularly. She is the only person I trust with my pup!”

About: I pet sit because I want to, not because I need to💜. I live on the trail and have a small yard! It’s a passion of mine to be around your pets. As the the oldest of 5 much younger siblings and a former professional nanny, I am a natural caregiver! Now, I am an independent hairstylist that works for myself, and as an animal lover, I have naturally become many of my clients trusted go-to pet sitter, especially for in house vacation pet sitting. I am highly trained as a former animal foster (including the bottle babies that require so much attention and responsibility) and as a professional care giver. I also grew up with non-traditional critters including, but not limited to, hedgehogs, salamanders, iguanas, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc. so I’m cool with whatever you throw at me! LGBTQ+ friendly!! I work for myself part time as a hairstylist. I make my own hours so it is very easy to not schedule on the days I am needed or to schedule large breaks in between. As a former nanny and elder millennial (lol) I am very responsible first! I always double check leashes, harnesses, doors, etc so you can leave your home feeling great with your guys in my hands. At my clients home, I very much like to follow their rules and instructions to the detail. I keep a photo and/or list of all instructions on my phone and a physical copy in my car. At my own home, I like to listen to what my clients feel comfortable with and follow that as discussed with them. I do like their pets to feel like I’m their loving grandma- they always get extra love and long walks when I come to see them!
“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

“Thank you for helping me out this month, Avery! You were very timely & flexible with my schedule. I really appreciate you taking such good care of Pacha, it means a lot!”

“SO HAPPY! After getting into an accident I haven't been able to walk my LuLu like usual. Chayanne was available last minute and boy did she give her a great exercise! Very impressed and will be using her more often ?”

About: As a rising first-year veterinary student at Cornell University, I've spent years volunteering in animal care settings, including veterinary hospitals, doggy daycares, training facilities, and animal shelters. These experiences have given me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities, while teaching me how to recognize and accommodate their individual needs. I also have two Standard Poodles that I've raised from puppies. They couldn't be more different—one is calm and gentle, while the other is energetic and always ready for adventure! Caring for dogs with such different temperaments has made me comfortable adapting to each pet's unique personality and routine. I've trained both of my dogs myself using positive reinforcement, so if you'd like, I'm happy to reinforce basic obedience or practice a few simple tricks during visits. I also groom them myself during school breaks, giving me experience with routine coat care and handling. I'm patient, attentive, and detail-oriented, and I'll tailor my care to whatever makes your pet happiest—whether that's a long walk, an active play session, exploring outside, or a quiet afternoon of companionship. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a first-year veterinary student, my schedule allows me to provide pet care through morning visits, lunchtime drop-ins, evening visits, and overnight stays. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I am happy to come to your home and follow your lead to create the best experience for your pet! I can follow normal routines to keep them at ease, or create new adventures to use up their extra energy.
“Danielle was GREAT with Lola and the peace of mind knowing she was out and about and returned home safely --all confirmed with photos and messages--was awesome. We will be calling Danielle in the very near future!”

“I love Jillian, and so did Calvin my big labrador boy. He was always in a great mood when I got home because she took him on such great walks, and gave him a little biscuit afterwards and filled his water bowl.”

“Darin is a great friend to animals and goes at their speed which is important for one of our girls who is unsure of everything. He is also communicative and reliable. Would absolutely recommend!”

“I can’t recommend Cody enough. She is a pet charmer. My 2 dogs and cat warmed to her quickly, she is an excellent communicator, and has a gentle presence. My one dog was nervous and hid before the first walk. Cody spent 30 min gently coaxing her out. After the first walk, all 3 of my animals were comfortable and happy. She sat with them after every walk for extra minutes and shared great pics with me. I will always check her availability first in the future”

“We booked Riley on short notice to walk our three large dogs. She was very communicative, thoughtful, and flexible. I will definitely book with her again! Thank you, Riley!”

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. Being in your home, I know Im in their space
About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!
About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.
About: I have been a dog owner, professional dog care provider, and frequent volunteer at animal shelters for the last 3 years. Dogs provide me with endless joy and entertainment and I make it my mission to make them feel as comfortable, loved, and supported as possible when I'm with them. I live with my fiancé, who has been working professionally with dogs and numerous other animals for 8 years, so you can rest assured that your dogs will receive exceptional care during their time with us. I love going for walks (long or short, filled with sniffs and adventure or simple bathroom trips) and taking trips to nearby Lanier Dog Park, so your dog can get the right amount of exercise and outdoor time depending on its personality and the weather or season. I know that when you are away from your pet it can be quite anxiety inducing so I'm happy to provide frequent photo or video updates to keep you in the loop on all the fun we're having! I promise your dog will get tons of love and attention while in my care!! My wife and I both work from home doing pet care full time. Your pets will get 100% of the attention they need and deserve during a stay at our home. I have a small, fenced in yard for bathroom breaks in between longer walks. I’m able to crate your dog if needed but also fine allowing them to sleep on a sofa/dog bed/my bed if that’s what they’re used to.

“Anna has watched my dogs a few times now. She is always very quick to respond and a great communicator when it comes to organizing drop offs and pick ups. If the dogs could talk, they would confirm they have a good time when staying with Anna!”

“Natalie took great care of our dog Taz and provided lots of updates. I could tell in the pictures that Taz was so happy and it was a relief that he was in good hands. Thank you Natalie, you’re a life saver!”

“Desirae was a life saver!! I did a last minute request before our family vacation, and Desirae was quick to respond. She keot us updated, sent pics and videos, and even talked to me about our dog’s dietary needs. She is an amazing sitter, and she definitely has a regular customer in us! Thanks again Desirae!”

“Beth was amazing. She immediately adjusted to all of my dog’s quirks and send lots of pics and videos. Bahula was completely at ease with her. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Dana was an absolute lifesaver for our pups!! The hotel we booked claimed to be dog friendly, but it was not. We got super lucky that Dana was able to take them for the few days we were in town. Our pups felt right at home with her! Dana treated them like her own and we couldn’t appreciate her, her dog Theo, and her family more. She sent great updates and pictures. We were able to enjoy our time on vacation and we didn’t worry about our pups at all. Can’t say enough good things about her but would 100% recommend her and would book with her again!!”

“My pup’s nearly 3 week stay with Bayleigh and her dog Jacks was beyond perfect. I have a young, high energy 100lb dog that Bayleigh did such a great job watching. Without a doubt, she went above and beyond to ensure he was cared for, exercised and mentally fulfilled. She also communicated extremely well and regularly shared pictures.”

“Roxanne was great and our boys had a great time. They slept on the ride home which is always a sign of a good stay. We will be using her again.”

“It is always a joy to drop off Freddie at Wendy and Zeus’s house. Fred loves it there because he gets such wonderful attention. We never have any worries. Thank you so much!”

“Anne did such an amazing job watching my dog calypso! Calypso had never spent time away from me and she had never really spent any time around other dogs, but Anne was so patient and understanding! She sent me pictures of calypso every single day and gave me updates On how she was doing! There was always someone spending time at home so calypso never had to worry about being alone! When I left calypso had horrible separation anxiety and was scared of other dogs, when I came back she was confident and her fear of other dogs was pretty much gone! I will continue to trust Anne with my puppy anytime I travel to NOLA and I definitely suggest that you do too! Thank you so much Anne!!”
