“Jordan was a great sitter! She sent pictures and updates and my fur babies definitely enjoyed themselves! They were all tuckered out after their day of fun! I will definitely book again.”

Randy H.

“Randy did a phenomenal job with my dog Chewy! He gave me updates throughout the day and provided pictures as well. Very professional and caring person, I highly recommend.”

Emily T.
“Emily has been a long term sitter for my precious dachshund, Ladybug. She is always really communicative, thoughtful and responsible. She sends me multiple photos a day of my girl, is a good sport about her complicated mealtimes (she's currently on a raw food diet) and Bug absolutely loves her fenced in backyard (+ all of the couch snuggles). I recommend Emily as a trusted dog sitter!”

About: I have been working with dogs, fostering, dog sitting, and basic training for over 15 years. I’ve had over 15 hours of classes on basic training for dogs, because polite dogs make for better long term placements. I love working with dogs & since I’m not currently fostering I would love to care for your dog. I work at home, flexible hours. I regularly do short dog walks with my dog, and can take yours along & I have a fenced yard if they need a bathroom break while I’m working! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes & breeds. I have a dog that is very well trained & laid back around other dogs. I’m able to give medication, assess problems, and most importantly give your dog lots of love & attention!

Susan C.

“Susan was great! We were in from out of town and realized last minute that we needed someone to watch our sweet girl Reese and she really came through! She was flexible with pick up and drop off and Reese warmed right up to her. She also had an endless stash of treats :) and was great about sending updates and photos through out the day. We’re so appreciative! We definitely recommend her if you’re in New Orleans!”

Mirabelle Z.

“Mirabelle is awesome! She made it super easy and took great care of Ito! Totally recommend!”

Mackenzie F.

“Mackenzie was very responsive and was quick to make last minute arrangements while on our trip to New Orleans. We had an early check out at hotel and needed a place for a fur baby to stay while awaiting our late afternoon flight-- we dropped him off at at 12pm with anticipation to pick up around 3pm. Unfortunatley, our flight was delayed and she was very flexible in allowing us to grab him by 4:30 to help accomodate him and alleviate our anxiety regarding what we would do with a dog in the heat of New Orleans for a few hours. She took him on potty breaks, a walk, and her and her boyfriend provided lots of playtime and love till we got back. He was pooped on the flight home. I would highly recommend leaving Mackenzie with your animal, she was great!”

Mike M.

“Mike was very attentive and loving to our boy! He took such good care of him, taking him on walks, getting him naps and playtime, asking good questions, and most importantly, giving us updates and pictures through the day so we could see how our boy was doing. Thanks Mike!”

About: Hey everyone, I’m a senior medical student using rover as a way to make extra money. I currently have a Bernese mountain dog that lives with me and have owned cats and dogs all my life. Im currently on a research elective and work from home, so I’m available every day. I can also be available on weekends if that is necessary. Making sure pets have food, water, and ample time to use the bathroom outside are my top priority; I can also walk them or bring them to a dog park if requested.

Lynne D.
“Lynne is great with animals. She has taken care of both my dogs and cats. She is very responsible and caring and my pets love her. I would recommend her caring for anyone’s pet and I would use her again!”

Ella H.
“Ella is an extremely loving and professional pet caregiver. She has taken care of my dogs on and off since High School. Highly recommend her!”

Lynne O.
“Over the six decades that I have known Lynne, there were always well-loved and cared for dogs in her life, no matter whether they were purebreds or shelter rescues. She has an acute sense of what an animal needs, be it discipline, a snuggle, a playful romp, or medical attention. I have no doubt that she will provide thoughtful, loving care for your dog.”

Ski D.

“Ski gave my baby boy such a fun day. He played with her baby and went on walks and ate yummy, nutritious food. Hoodoo came home pooped and happy!”

Charlene W.

“Great. Sent me lots of updates. Will book again.”

About: I am new to rover and would love to take care of your pups! I have loved dogs my whole life. During the Covid-19 quarantine, I fostered an English Bulldog with heart worm for around 6 months and took her to all of her veterinary appointments. Although I have no pets of my own, I am a very responsible college student who attends Tulane University and I have taken care of my friends pets for as long as I can remember. I am currently in school, however most of my classes are online so I will be home plenty to spend time with and care for your pups! I am available any time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As for Mondays and Fridays I am available anytime after 2pm. Wednesday’s I would be available for night sitting around 6pm. I have a fenced yard at my home. I do not have any other pets, however I did live with a cat and a bunny last year when I lived in a dorm (which were my roommates pets) and I was taking care of them most of the time, so your pets will be well taken care of too! Currently, I do live with 4 other women who also attend Tulane University, and they live upstairs. Additionally, our house has a large kitchen with lots of space to store any dog food and food bowls. I also have a pretty spacious bedroom so your pets are more than welcome to snuggle up with me!

Woody P.

“Woody took great care of Sonny! His place is definitely more suitable for adult dogs but he paid extra attention to my puppy and smoothly accommodated him!”

Janis P.
“Janis was amazing! She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. I could tell she made a lot of effort to take Kiko out to potty or to play fetch. He came back to us happy and tired. We’re always nervous finding a new sitter whenever traveling but Janis made it so easy to trust her. If we’re ever back in New Orleans we will definitely be reaching out. Thanks again!”

Christopher C.
“Chris is an great pet sitter. He genuinely loves animals and take the responsibility of their well being very seriously. I have dogs (one a very rambunctious young puppy) and cats that I have left in his care without hesitation and always come back to happy healthy animals. If you are looking for peace of mind when travelling away from your animals, Chris is definitely the right option for you.”
