“Ellen was terrific. Highly responsive, followed our instruction to a tee, and made sure our cat Loki feel loved and played with in our week long absence despite the chaos of getting to our house during Mardi Gras. We would absolutely hire Ellen again!”

“If I could give more than five stars I would. Doc was absolutely great. They came by before we left just to make sure we were on the same page and to meet Maisie and Fiona. Maisie is usually very suspicious of new people and takes a while to warm up… not with Doc! They were both instantly comfortable and friendly with Doc. We were completely comfortable leaving them in Doc’s hands. The updates and pictures were terrific. I can’t express my gratitude enough 🙏🙏🙏”

“Great as always. When I’m on the road, my travel changes and she is always very flexible. I have peace of mind, knowing that Georges is safe and taken care of while I’m away. Always great pictures and descriptions as well.”

“Victoria always takes the best care of our cat and home!! She keeps our cat happy, communicates well, leaves the house clean, and is always happy to handle anything that comes up!”

“Hana sent lots of pictures during her check-ins with Ollie. She was super kind and spent lots of time giving him affection. He was well cared for during my trip and I’d definitely recommend Hana.”

“E did such a great job with caring for my cat Capri. From the detailed daily check-in and the associated pictures I really appreciate the detail and effort. I will definitely be using E again in the future from my Capri needs.”

“Margarida did a great job with both my cats, she took her time with them while they eased into meeting someone new. She sent detailed updates and a lot of pictures/videos. They were both in great spirits even after us being gone 5 days. Would definitely book again.”

About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

About: I don’t just “check in” on cats—I genuinely care for them like they’re my own. I understand feline behavior and body language, so shy, senior, or anxious cats get patient, stress-free care at their pace Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, not something I squeeze in between other commitments. I plan my days around visits, feedings, playtime, and check-ins to make sure each cat gets consistent, unhurried care I provide care in your home whenever possible so your cat can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. During each visit, I follow your cat’s normal routine for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and affection (always on their terms). I take time to observe behavior, appetite, and litter habits so I can quickly notice anything out of the ordinary.

“Jared was great while housesitting and watching my cats! He is kind, responsive, and trustworthy. I came home to a clean house and happy kitties :) would definitely use him again for my next trip!”

About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.
“Cody stayed at our place for a couple days to take care of our two cats. They loved Cody and were very relaxed when we returned. We got regular updates and pictures which made us feel comfortable. We will definitely have Cody sit for us again!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“Wendy always goes above and beyond! She makes sure my pup is safe, entertained and happy. Not only does she make sure Daisy is having fun with play, but she also practices commands and sends updates throughout the stay. I’m always appreciative of Wendy’s communication and attention to detail, and I know Daisy will be back for many more play dates!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“Ms Etta was wonderful! She responded very quick to my request as well as she is knowledgeable and will keep you updated on your pup! I had peace of mind knowing my sweet boy was well taken care of, she sent photos all day long and kept me informed on him! Saint came home and went straight to sleep😂😂 that’s how you know he had a blast! We will be coming back😁😁😁”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“Emily was so awesome and accommodating!! I will be booking again. She sent me pictures all day and that made me feel safe with her truly. It’s hard to leave your fur baby but she made it easy. 💕 book with Emily, your dog will be so happy.”

“Oshie was very responsive and willing to accept our reservation at the last minute. She was very flexible with our schedule as we came to town for a last minute vacation. Jaxx enjoyed his stay with her, and he felt very comfortable and at ease with her!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

About: I’ve cared for and grown up around more animals than I can count. I love showing fur babies the love they deserve and there’s nothing more rewarding than receiving it back in return. I believe animals can truly be medicinal and can better a person’s mood and outlook on life. They are our best friends and we are their lives. Flexible availability; I can provide dog walks, grooming, feeding, daytime & overnight sitting, cuddles, and even just a pop-in. I’m free mornings, day, and night and open to ongoing long-term schedules if things happen to work out that way. I have a big fenced in backyard, but most of my time with pups is spent on hikes or long walks outdoors. I do have a medium sized, super friendly husky, if your pupper feels uncomfortable around other dogs though, my husky baby loves spending time at my sister’s house and would be happy to accompany her while I care for your fur baby. I’m extremely active but can also just hang out and offer an easy-going light day or night with your pet.
“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.

About: Nice to meet you! My name is Taylor. I was raised with animals my whole entire life and have always had dogs. I am very experienced in dealing with dogs and cats, big and small. I hope to utilize my abilities as a dog walker and cat sitter. My availability is flexible. Skills: I have experience with caring for sick animals, providing play time, and walking pets. On top of this, I have a drivers license. When it comes to prior qualifications, I have experience as a pet sitter and carer. Booking An Appointment: Wanting to book me as a sitter or walker? Message me and tell me about what you are looking for in a sitter and what kind of pet you have. I can't wait to hear from you Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine! I work late nights (4 PM – 12 AM), which means I have plenty of time during the day to dedicate to walks, playtime, and quality care. Whether it’s morning exercise, midday check-ins, or afternoon cuddle sessions, I can give pets the attention they need while their owners are busy. My flexible schedule allows me to maintain consistent routines, ensuring pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely—ensuring they get their usual meals, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep things clean while providing plenty of attention and companionship to their pet. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, secure, and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve grown up taking care of pets in my own home, from crate training to end of life care, as well as house/pet sat for neighbors, friends, and professors. I love animals, and take care of them as if they’re my own. I’m new to Rover, but have been pet sitting my whole life! I currently work from home on my own business, so I am 100% flexible! My schedule is very adaptable to your pets’ needs. I’m also very active so they will get a lot of exercise! Pets are family (and often you like them even more than the actual family). You can be assured that I will take care of them like they’re my own. I do not allow pets to do things their owners don’t, don’t feed them table scraps, and make sure to reinforce all/any training I’m informed about.
“Stacy and Patrick are awesome! They always leave detailed reviews of our dog’s walk which makes us feel comforted. We also appreciate their availability whenever we need them. We know they can take care of our crazy husky. We highly recommend them!”

“Thank you SO much again!! Maggie was so great with my high energy dog & made sure to keep him happy, comfortable & that his medicine was given everyday 3x a day. The communication was great; walk updates, pictures, etc.”

About: When I was a child, I walked our dogs more that the rest of my family combined (a brother , sister, and parents). I had a coffee shop named after my Husky in Idaho (Cody's Cafe). To me, dogs play an extremely important role in our lives and I know how important your pet is; they are family. They also have their unique traits. My last dog was a very sweet pit bull mix that loved chasing squirrels and liked Cats. My current dog is a rescue Dane/Weimeraner Mix and is our world. He has been from Key West to the Alamo to Aspen and Taos and extremely sociable. I understand that every dog has its unique personality and I will learn as much as possible to make the experience a positive and rewarding one. Dogs need and demand attention and that reward works both ways. I am between jobs as my company suddenly closed with no notice so between jobs will be doing something I am passionate about, walking dogs. Pets safety is prime. When I walk dogs, they are my focus. If there are other dogs on the street, I am careful and understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable although I am very good at reading dog behavior. Some dogs may be fine 90% of the time, but that is too high an unknown to risk anyone's health. I want dogs to be comfortable on their walks but aware of dangers from cat poop to food that could jeapordize the dogs health.
