“Aja was amazing! She was attentive to all the details- sent photos daily of our fuzzy babies. Aja is punctual, great communicator and outstanding pet sitter. I would give her 5 out of 5 in every way. Plan to use Aja for all of our animal care needs!! Thank you & Mom so much!!”

“Mike was wonderful and kind with our girl. He sent lots of videos and we could tell our dog was having a great time. I would rebook with him again for sure.”

“Our family LOVES Melissa! Melissa asked all the right questions to really get to know Rookie prior to his stay. She is so organized and her love for dogs definitely show. Her home has plenty of space and has a nice enclosed backyard to keep your furry friends safe. It looked like Rookie settled in pretty fast. Rookie stayed a week with Melissa and she gave updates each day which reassured us that Rookie was in such loving care. Thank you so much Melissa!”

“Maria was really great handling my dog, I was a bit worried because my dog is a bit hyper, but she continue to send pictures of her having a great time. It made me feel 10 times better definitely would recommend.”

“Michael was very accommodating to my schedule. I had him watch my pup while I was visiting a friend in New Orleans. My friend couldn't have a dog at his apartment but I wanted my pup to come on the trip bc I wanted to have her join me in the Quarter while I walked around. Michael met me several times to let me get my pup and drop her back off with him a few hours later. She seemed so comfortable with him and he was very friendly. The only improvement I could say would be that an occasional picture of your pup would help put nervous fur parents at ease. I would absolutely recommend Michael to watch your pup!”

“ELENA was excellent with my Chewy! She was so attentive to him. I loved that she sent pictures almost every day. She has such a beautiful spirit. I won't go anywhere else to leave him. He now has a second home away from home. Rover please keep her as long as she's willing to sit with our fur babies. I will definitely recommend to anyone who may be looking for a fur baby sitter. GTurner”

“Stacey was excellent with my dog Seamus. She responded to all of my texts in a timely manner, and took wonderful care of him while I was away. Additionally, she took the most adorable photos of him! She goes above and beyond, and I will definitely use her again.”

“Great as always. When I’m on the road, my travel changes and she is always very flexible. I have peace of mind, knowing that Georges is safe and taken care of while I’m away. Always great pictures and descriptions as well.”

“One of the things I really appreciate about Deana is her communication. She is super consistent and helpful in her communication with me. It’s so great that my cat has really taken to her.”

“Highly recommend to anyone! My cat is large, has multiple personalities, and needs medicine twice a day. Cristina is the first person who I was confident would show him the same care and understanding as I do while I was away. Her communication is top tier, and she put my worries over leaving at ease. Plus I got lots of pictures and updates! I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Ebony is so rare. They update and take care of your dog and cat like they were their own. I’m so grateful to have someone get to know my dog’s personality and be patient with them while I was away. It makes travel and being away more enjoyable knowing they are in good hands. Appreciate it more than you know. Mary Louise”

“Delaney has been amazing with our cat Kai! She shares updates of our cat during each visit, and our cat is happy when we return. Highly recommend Delaney!”

“Victoria is always great! She takes wonderful care of our cat Pixie, communicates excellently, and always leaves our house spotless. Pixie loves her and is always so relaxed and happy when we get home from traveling, it’s as if she didn’t even notice we were gone.”

“Simon was a phenomenal caretaker for my guy Cornelius. Checked in and out with every visit, communicated amazingly throughout the entire time. He definitely has a knack for taking great doggo pics. Was also able to accommodate a last minute booking and extension of service due to travel delays. Highly recommend booking with him if you want someone caring about your dogs much as you do while you’re not there!”

“Lindsey took excellent care of my cats, who are especially needy! She spent a lot of time with them and clearly gave them lots of love while I was away. Thank you Lindsey!”

“Thank you so much! I really appreciate the thoroughness and the kindness and the prompt visits! I will definitely be requesting you again when I have to go out of town!”

“Bianca was great! She made a real effort with my kitties while I was gone for about 2 weeks. They played a lot, loved getting brushed and got many treats. Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! Would recommend Bianca for your cat sitting needs.”

“Samantha was such a kind and communicative sitter for our sweet boy! She took the time to come meet him first and always shared thorough updates and loved on our kitty and was attentive to his unique personality. We highly recommend choosing Samantha for your fur babes & will definitely book her again! Thanks Samantha!”

About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

“Ethan is such caring and attentive pet sitter. He really went above and beyond during his time with Penny and really made me feel at ease during his visit. We will definitely be booking again and recommending to others!”

“E was fantastic. I got pictures and updates daily and I know my Honey Bunny was very well taken care of. My house was exactly how I left it and I will be hiring E again for my next trip!”

“This is the most confident I’ve been leaving my cats in someone else’s care. Nycole is so knowledgeable and kind. I felt at ease knowing my cat would receive his medication and stay healthy while I was away.”

“Cody took such great care of my cats while I was gone! I had to take one of my cats to the vet the day before vacation and he needed antibiotics twice daily. Cody was able to help me out with short notice and allowed me to have a stress free vacation and sent updates with each check in! Even my cat that is normally not a people person warmed up to them some! I cannot recommend Cody enough!”

“Jennifer has been there when I needed her most. As a biologist with unpredictable fieldwork I appreciate it SO SO much!! I love the rover reviews she leaves after every check in and she takes great pictures too”

“Sarah was great!! This was the second time she watched our pets (1 dog, 2 cats and a fish). She checked in on them multiple times a day, sent us updates, and followed the detailed notes we left her. We felt like they were in such great hands that we could actually enjoy our trip without worrying about if they were getting the care we needed. We'll definitely book Sarah next time we travel!”

“Elizabeth was amazing! My skittish cats warmed up to her right away. She played with them & gave them extra treats. They’re very good motivated, so they’ll love her forever. Next time I’m out of time I’ll definitely call Elizabeth again”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs at every life stage, from puppies to seniors, with a variety of breeds and temperaments. Right now, I have a small breed senior who is still fairly active. Please use the following link for $20 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/jonatb76705 I am typically at home, have a flexible schedule, and am available for drop-offs on short notice. Just let me know how I can assist! Your dog will have free range of the living areas, with regular supervised visits to the enclosed backyard, and walked twice daily or as often as requested.
“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“Olivia is great with Artemis! We never have to worry about our pup when she’s with her. She always sends us photos of our girl and keeps us updated on how she’s doing throughout the day. Artie loves going to her house now and gets so excited to see her. She always responds as soon as possible to any questions or concerns we may have and is so flexible with our schedule. Being a bartender, it’s nice to know I can leave my dog with someone who will take care of her when I work long hours. Thank you Olivia!”
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Wendy took such great care of my puppy. As a new pet owner, Wendy put my mind at ease and made sure I was comfortable and that Daisy felt safe and had a great time. I loved the updates and could tell Daisy didn’t miss me at all because she was having so much fun. We’ll definitely be back!”

About: I provide attentive, individualized care designed to keep your dog's routine as consistent and comfortable as possible while you're away. Because I work from home and intentionally keep my boarding capacity small, I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, exercise, and individual attention throughout the day. To help you feel connected while you're away, I provide regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay. Every boarding also concludes with a personalized summary of their meals, walks, potty habits, behavior, and overall experience, so you know exactly how their stay went. I share my home with Tully, my friendly, well-socialized Golden Retriever. Because this is his home too, I prioritize good matches and a calm, comfortable environment for both resident and visiting dogs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I care for every dog as an individual by following their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay so you can have peace of mind while you’re away, and every boarding concludes with a personalized summary of your dog’s stay. My goal is to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I usually watch just one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“Michael took care of our King Charles Cavalier, Sadie, for a day during our stay in NOLA. We were amazed at how well Sadie bonded with Michael, who obviously adores dogs and immediately put Sadie at ease. Michael also bathed Sadie at our request, which was extra special. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Michael and are happy to know that if ever we need a puppy sitters in NOLA, Michael is the perfect person.”

“Emily took great care of our girls! She sent lots of photos, was easy to communicate with, and gave them plenty of love. I would recommend her to anyone looking for boarding or daycare- her spot is so lovely for the dogs!”

“Ashley was a true professional and made sure my dog had a well balanced day of rest, play and walking ! I am definitely planning to request more dog sitting from her!”

“Ellen took great care of Milo for daycare for a day. Milo seemed like he had a great time with Ellen and the other dogs. Ellen was very easy to communicate with and sent us plenty of adorable photos so we felt very comfortable leaving Milo with her. Thank you, Ellen!”

“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
“I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!”

About: I have always had a passion for working with animals. I’m currently a grad student at Tulane studying animal behavior. Worked in many positions as an animal caretaker and have experience in trading grooming and a variety of different pet care from dogs and cats to exotic animals. I also have specialty experience with elderly pets and working breed dogs. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and treating them like one of my own! I am in school during the afternoons, but other than that, have a full available schedule to have animals both in my home, or yours. I offer a very flexible experience tailored to your pet and their needs. My home is all puppy proofed and I have yard and near by large park for plenty of exercise. I am set up for crate trained and not crates trained pups and can stick to any regular schedule you need.
About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
“This is my dog’s 3rd visit with Etta. She is the best. She goes above and beyond. I broke one of the handles off my dog’s bag and she sewed it on without me even asking or knowing she could sew. She even reinforced the other strap so that wouldn’t break off. Thank you!!!”

About: As a loving, caring and professional sitter, I'm here to put your mind at ease. I am proficient in keeping to current schedules and feeding routines and will accommodate you and your pet, as needed. I have had personal experiences using the Rover app as a fur momma so I recognize the importance of making the right sitter choice - thank you for your consideration. “SO HAPPY! After getting into an accident I haven't been able to walk my LuLu like usual. Chayanne was available last minute and boy did she give her a great exercise! Very impressed and will be using her more often ?”
“Danielle was GREAT with Lola and the peace of mind knowing she was out and about and returned home safely --all confirmed with photos and messages--was awesome. We will be calling Danielle in the very near future!”

About: I’ve always lived with dogs and cats! Growing up, I was constantly tagged to care for neighbor’s pets while they were out of town. Even now, my friends and their parents know I’m the first one willing to step up and petsit. I have basic experience with leash training young dogs, as well as encouraging stiff seniors to get some exercise. And not to brag, but even the shyest cats tend to warm up to me, but I do know how to read cat body language and give them space when they want it. I work full time during the weekdays, but I’m available most evenings and excited to get out of the house. My weekends are almost always open to spend time with your dog! Pet safety is my top priority. I never walk dogs along busy streets, or where there isn’t enough shoulder to feel safe. I also do not allow my dogs to interact with others on leash, since this can be unpredictable. I’m not afraid to cross the street (safely!) to avoid a meeting.
About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!
“Thank you for helping me out this month, Avery! You were very timely & flexible with my schedule. I really appreciate you taking such good care of Pacha, it means a lot!”

“Stacy and Patrick are awesome! They always leave detailed reviews of our dog’s walk which makes us feel comforted. We also appreciate their availability whenever we need them. We know they can take care of our crazy husky. We highly recommend them!”

About: As a rising first-year veterinary student at Cornell University, I've spent years volunteering in animal care settings, including veterinary hospitals, doggy daycares, training facilities, and animal shelters. These experiences have given me hands-on experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities, while teaching me how to recognize and accommodate their individual needs. I also have two Standard Poodles that I've raised from puppies. They couldn't be more different—one is calm and gentle, while the other is energetic and always ready for adventure! Caring for dogs with such different temperaments has made me comfortable adapting to each pet's unique personality and routine. I've trained both of my dogs myself using positive reinforcement, so if you'd like, I'm happy to reinforce basic obedience or practice a few simple tricks during visits. I also groom them myself during school breaks, giving me experience with routine coat care and handling. I'm patient, attentive, and detail-oriented, and I'll tailor my care to whatever makes your pet happiest—whether that's a long walk, an active play session, exploring outside, or a quiet afternoon of companionship. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As a first-year veterinary student, my schedule allows me to provide pet care through morning visits, lunchtime drop-ins, evening visits, and overnight stays. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I am happy to come to your home and follow your lead to create the best experience for your pet! I can follow normal routines to keep them at ease, or create new adventures to use up their extra energy.
“Amanda was amazing and accommodating of my last minute booking. I could tell instantly she deeply cared about my older dog. A+ communication. Strongly recommend. Thanks again, Amanda!!!”

“We booked Riley on short notice to walk our three large dogs. She was very communicative, thoughtful, and flexible. I will definitely book with her again! Thank you, Riley!”

About: I’ve been around pets since I was 2 yrs old. I began taking care of my pets at 8 years and I have always formed special bonds with them. I have also cared for abused and neglected dogs, and helped them to form trusting, healthy attachments. I have raised puppies from birth, potty trained them and taught them tricks and cared for senior dogs. I am currently available all day and night to watch your fur baby. I am pretty flexible and can work around your needs as well. I have a fenced yard and a friendly small dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily separate or crate your dog if needed as well as crate my own depending on what is most comfortable for you. I just graduated and am currently studying for the CPA exams so I will be home/in the area all day! My schedule is very flexible now! I carefully follow all special instructions and make sure your pets are receiving all the love and care they need. Care is specialized depending on each dogs’ needs as everyone is different.

“Winston loves to visit with Ben when we are out of town. I really enjoy the pictures Ben sends of my pup having a blast with his new friends. Ben is our number one choice on Rover!”

“Ashley was fantastic with my dog, Neon. She made sure he was well integrated with the other dogs and gave him plenty of individual attention, including lots of games of fetch—one of his favorite things. She also kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn’t get overheated during the New Orleans summer heat. I loved that she had a kiddie pool in the backyard so the dogs could cool off while playing. Ashley was easy to coordinate with, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. It was clear Neon had a wonderful vacation while I was on mine. I’d absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter!”

“This was our first time leaving Hazel with someone. We were nervous, but Roxanne & Reese made us feel at ease immediately. We were very pleased with how welcoming they were to her and even more happy to hear that she was a very good girl while we were gone.”

“Julia is a fantastic dog sitter. We felt SO comfortable leaving our dog with her. She has two dogs of her own so she very clearly “gets it” and she went above and beyond to make us feel like Duke was in good hands.”

“I highly recommend Cheyenne as a pet sitter! Satchmo just stayed with her for two nights, and she was absolutely amazing with him. He was dealing with some nerves, but she was incredibly patient, worked right through his issues, and helped him completely relax. She also sent great photos throughout his stay to keep me updated, which I really appreciated. I couldn't be happier with the care she provided!”
