About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

“Kate came for drop in visits with our 2 tiny toy poodles. Our girls can be timid but I knew right away after meeting her that she knew how to manage these two. She and her husband took their time getting to know the girls and it was obvious the girls were comfortable! Kate made regular visits and was great about communicating, which put my mind at ease. If I sent a text or called there was always an immediate response. Kate also sent lots of pictures. We just got home from our time away and the girls are happy and healthy. We will most certainly be contacting Kate again. I highly recommend her sitting services!”

About: Although I own 2 cats now, I grew up with dogs (large and small) and look forward to any opportunity to walk/run/play with any dogs who may need some outside time or owners that need some quiet time. I work part time and have plenty of morning or evening hours to watch or walk any dogs that need quiet company, play time, or to let off some energy. I have 2 elderly, cats at home, but am willing to come to your home or work to watch your animals. Would love for them to feel safe in their own environment.

“We can't say enough good things about Nycole. Our diabetic, kidney-compromised, 15 year old cat, Wylean, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, has been on a feeding tube since early November with a whole litany of medications. Nycole, a skilled and longterm vet tech, was able to give truly incredible, exhaustive care to Wylean for days, both during this latest stay to see my parents (my dad was and still is in the hospital for a broken hip) and during Christmas (to see my mother-in-law in hospice). Her three times a day updates were like something a seasoned vet would make, and Wylean was markedly better when we returned than when we left. She has gained the better part of a pound over the last month, and I credit Nycole for at least part of that. We will always be grateful. If we could leave one hundred stars, we would. A combination of empathy, high skill, talent, and an obvious, deep love for animals makes Nycole the best. Anyone hiring her is lucky, and we only hope we can hire her again for future trips. About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

About: I was the go-to pet sitter in my hometown! I have recently moved to NOLA, and I’m hoping to meet and care for some awesome animals. I have been pet sitting since I was 12 and I have had my own for my whole life. I’m currently working part time as a cashier and substituting at a day care. Due to this, most of my days are pretty free. On working days I’m able to stop by before and after my shifts. To care for a pet in the clients home, I make sure that the animal feels safe and comfortable while the owner is away. I like to let the pet stay in a spot it is comfortable in and just sit with them for a little bit to make sure they trust and feel safe with me. I also prioritize keeping the home nice and neat and looking as good as you left it ! I’m always down to cuddle a furry friend.
