About: Cats are where I started. I've shared my home with them my whole life, currently with Ajax, a 12-year-old tuxedo gentleman who has trained me thoroughly in the ways of his people. I speak fluent cat. I know when the belly roll is a greeting, and when it's a trap. For visits in your home, everything happens on your cat's terms, in their territory: feeding, fresh water, a properly cleaned litter box, and genuine company. “Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! I work in the area and don’t know anybody, here. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. Emily swooped right in and put my mind well at ease so that I could address my own needs without the weight of worrying!”

About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! I recently left my 9-5 job and am spending my time doing what I love most before I head back to school in January for my Master's. That includes meeting as many dogs as I can. About: I have owned many dogs of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I have a lot of experience with miniature dachshunds, but I have also cared for many rescued dogs of different breeds and sizes. I also have multiple years of experience with senior dog care. I have been a trusted dog sitter off and on for friends and family over the last decade. I am an Emergency Room Nurse. I currently work part-time, which looks like one shift per week. I am free most days of the week. I am a single female with no kids. I have one dog of my own. I have personally cared for small and large dogs as well as dogs that live only outdoors or only indoors. I understand that each pet has different needs, and every home looks different. I am happy to care for any pet as their owner desires.

About: Though I’m new to rover, I’ve been caring for cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages for years! I’m can account for the different needs of many different pets, and have myself never been without a pet myself! I’m currently pursuing an apprenticeship, and will have plenty of time for your pets! About: Ive been working with and caring for dogs for 27 years and its really all i do all the time! My background is in dog grooming and obedience training and natural/holistic care. i run a grooming shop so after opening up and checking in clients i come home to hang out with dogs and garden and work on projects and do my administrative work. i live alone so it is just me and the dogs and i schedule my life according to my care taking needs:) i have a large fenced in yard with extra safety gates in place and the dogs get to hang outside with me while i garden and lounge.

“Our dog Molly had a great vacay at Robin's house. There's plenty of room for dogs to run around, a stream to cool off in and Robin's dog Maika loved playing Molly's favorite game, Chase Me! We were happy that Molly was given lots of positive things to chew on when inside the house and was allowed to cuddle in bed with these nice people at night. They spoiled her just like we do. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Robin and her sister who have lots of experience with dogs. Molly will be staying with them again in the future for sure!”
“Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. Overall if I could give 6 stars I would and if I need a dog sitter in New Orleans again I know who to ask. Thanks so much Kenneth!”
