About: I’ve cared for many pets and farm animals since I was a child. I have multiple years of experience previously volunteering at the Kansas Humane Society. I currently live downtown and work from home with a flexible schedule. I have the time to share my affection with your fur babies or enjoy a long walk. I’m able to visit your home and spend time with your pet inside or let them outside. I’m also available for walks as short or long as desired. DAYCARE: I’m available to host any qualifying pet, but usually watch after dogs who are used to walking downtown. I live in the French Quarter and do not have any outdoor space at my property. Potty breaks will be leashed walks to the park, one block away.

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

I am also PACCC Certified, a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider, as well as Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. My home is designed to be a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where dogs are treated like family. Guests are welcome throughout the home and can enjoy cozy dog beds, the couch, enrichment toys, tunnels, brush outs, a kiddie pool, a fully fenced yard, and plenty of photo updates during their stay. Dogs are welcome to sleep in bed with me if that’s what they’re used to, or they can be kenneled if that’s their normal routine. Because I have two friendly resident dogs, all boarding and daycare guests must be comfortable around dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and genders. Playgroups are carefully matched based on temperament, play style, size, and energy level. My home is generally best suited for low to medium energy dogs, and I especially love caring for senior pets and laid back personalities. High energy dogs are welcomed on a case by case basis. Safety is always my top priority, so I do have a few requirements before accepting bookings. • Dogs should be potty trained. I completely understand that occasional accidents happen, especially during transitions or with puppies learning routines. However, frequent accidents or ongoing indoor marking may not be the best fit for my home. • Puppies are welcome, but I ask that owners are completely transparent about their current potty training progress and care needs. • Please disclose any bite history, behavioral concerns, previous daycare dismissals, reactivity, resource guarding, destructive habits, separation anxiety, escaping crates, counter surfing, digging, chewing, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. • Dogs displaying normal stress behaviors such as growling, air snaps, baring teeth, or setting boundaries while uncomfortable are not automatically disqualified. However, true aggression toward people or other animals is not accepted. I maintain a zero tolerance policy for aggression within my home. Transparency allows me to safely manage personalities, prevent conflicts, and create the best experience for everyone. Please also let me know whether your dog is kennel trained, whether they need to be crated when left alone, and if they relax well in a kennel or become stressed while confined. Depending on each dog’s behavior and routine, many guests are able to enjoy supervised free roam privileges. Since Rover does not cover damage inside a sitter’s personal home, owners are responsible for any damages caused during a stay. Repair or replacement costs may apply, with a minimum charge of $100 if damage occurs. While my home environment is intentionally structured and carefully managed, I am also comfortable taking on more complex behavioral or medical cases within a client’s home. I have also been through obedient training with multiple dogs. I have so much love & good walks to share with your fur babies! I can't wait to meet & spoil your pet!🖤 I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup or kitty! I am available for walks or drop in visits in the morning and evening most days, and wide open every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a wonderful pup of my own to spend time with, so I am no longer accepting new clients for long in house stays. I would be happy to accommodate a shorter weekend getaway! I prefer to care for your pet in your home where they are already feeling safe. This way I am the only new variable in what can sometimes be an unsure time for a pet. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.
