“Took wonderful care of our boys so we could enjoy our visit to NOLA. He was right in the French quarter so it was very convenient. Thank you so much Michael!”

“Ashley was a true professional and made sure my dog had a well balanced day of rest, play and walking ! I am definitely planning to request more dog sitting from her!”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“She’s great especially on the short notice I gave her! My dog had so much fun and she sent lots of pictures! I would definetly recommend her if you need someone to watch your dogs!”

“Another great visit with Oshie! Halen adores her and walks me straight to her house on pretty much every walk! (On days he’s not scheduled to stay with her). That’s the highest praise he can give!”

“Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

“Ms. Etta was great with Bronx! She sent updates and even worked on his commands with him. Bronx was exhausted when he came home! Will definitely use her anytime I need someone to watch my baby!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!”

“Hazel returned to Roxanne's for a date and she was so excited when she got out of the car I thought she might knock the front door down! She came back to us well played and very happy.”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
About: I've spent my whole life around animals— dogs, cats, snakes, spiders, bunnies, and hamsters. Whether it's a big ol puppy or a senior cat, I’ve cared for them with love and attention. Being with animals comes naturally from a lifetime of training, and I treat every pet like my own. Be prepared for a new nickname for your pet. I work at a business in the French quarter and my schedule is flexible. I can take a long lunch in order to check on pets. I follow all instructions and act as if I'm being watched by the owner in the moment. I was a residential housecleaner for over a decade and appreciated supervision.

“Winston had a great stay with Amanda. She was so accommodating and flexible, with great communication. Winston has anxiety but he was clearly at ease during both drop off and pick up. Thank you Amanda!”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

Emily did a fantastic job keeping our pup for2 days. We contacted her the day before, and she responded almost immediately saying she was available. Our Roxy played all day with other dogs and took a few soaks in the kiddie pool. She introduced other dogs slowly to not overwhelm our girl. I recommend Emily wholeheartedly.

I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!

Billie had a great time at Lindsey’s house for doggie daycare. She came home happy and completely worn out after playing with their dog Gigi all day. Lindsey was very patient and understanding with Billie’s puppy energy, and it was clear Billie felt comfortable there. Definitely a good experience for a young puppy learning how to socialize and play appropriately.

Dex was an excellent sitter and also flexible and easy to communicate with. We so appreciated her service as we were visiting from out of town and wanted to see tourist sites that don’t allow dogs. Her own pup is so cute and played with my dog all day. I highly recommend Dex.

Ms Etta was wonderful! She responded very quick to my request as well as she is knowledgeable and will keep you updated on your pup! I had peace of mind knowing my sweet boy was well taken care of, she sent photos all day long and kept me informed on him! Saint came home and went straight to sleep😂😂 that’s how you know he had a blast! We will be coming back😁😁😁
