“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

About: I've had pets since I was a pre-teen, and recently I've been a rescue foster for dogs & cats for the past 2 years, so I have cared for many animals, many with behavioral issues. I have two rescue pitbulls and two rescue cats of my own. I have been working from home as a nonprofit contractor & artist. Although I do not have a car, I am able to bop around town via bike I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who would love to keep your doggy company. I also have a large crate in a separate front room if they need their own space.

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
