About: Hi Hi! Iâm Samantha, a lifelong animal lover and proud New Orleans native. Iâve been caring for dogs for over six years, gaining hands-on experience through my brotherâs businesses â DogDads and Pup Kulture â where I learned everything from daily walks to structured play, boarding routines, and personalized pet care. Working alongside professionals in the field has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and love with every pup I meet. Whether itâs long walks through the neighborhood, playtime at the park, or calm cuddles at home, I make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. Now that Iâm offering my own services here in New Orleans, my goal is to bring that same trusted care and experience to local pet parents. When your dog stays with me, theyâre not just getting a sitter â theyâre getting family. đśđ I work from home so I will be able to be there every second to love and care for them and ensure safety always . Walks and treats and playtime is a 24/7 service for every fur baby I want them to feel like they are at home here .
About: My husband and I love dogs! We adored our large hound dog, Emmylou, for 13 years. She recently passed away and we were heartbroken. Caring for her from the time she was a puppy and then into old age was an enormous gift and learning process. We were able to watch her energy change as she aged, and felt very comfortable taking care of her senior needs as she developed more health issues with time. Emmylou loved long walks up until the end, which is something I truly miss doing with her and long to do with other dogs. We recently fostered a dog for several weeks that had a lot of puppy energy and was around 23 lbs. She loved long walks and playing in our yard and in several parks in our neighborhood. Whatever specific needs your dog might have, I am up to the task of caring for them! My husband and I currently work from home, and one of us is always at home during the day. We often go to the gym in the evening. Usually the longest weâre gone for is about 2.5 hours. Weâd love to bring your dog along with us on any local adventures we might do, if itâs something youâd be comfortable with. We have a good size fenced back yard in the Bywater near the Marigny. Getting into and out of the house is relatively easy. The entry way to our home has 4 steps and so does the deck entry to the backyard. We mostly work from home. We also live in a very walkable neighborhood. Iâll take your pup on 2 walks a day if they like. We have a fenced in yard. I also have a crate if your pup needs one. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. We just donât let them on the bed.
About: I've had pets since I was a pre-teen, and recently I've been a rescue foster for dogs & cats for the past 2 years, so I have cared for many animals, many with behavioral issues. I have two rescue pitbulls and two rescue cats of my own. I have been working from home as a nonprofit contractor & artist. Although I do not have a car, I am able to bop around town via bike I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs who would love to keep your doggy company. I also have a large crate in a separate front room if they need their own space.
âLynda is fabulous to work with, quick and clear in her responses. We did a meet and greet in which my wheaten puppy instantly took to her. Lynda clearly loves dogs and was great with Baloo. She was prompt to arrive, sent lovely pics throughout the day, and when I got home Baloo was happy and had eaten her lunch. I would definitely book Lynda again.â
âSerena, Thank you so much for caring for Astro. He had so much fun and was pooped when he got home. I can feel your passion for animals & your whole demeanor with them is calming. We appreciate you!â

âVery happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!â

âEllen is one of the best. She took loving daycare of Charley and was so good at keeping in touch with photos! My upcoming trip will be so much less stressful knowing Charley is with her when I'm away.â

âMargaret was great with our baby while she healed from her spay. She even set up a mattress for her to lay on and be cozy. We will definitely use her services again.â

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animalsâfrom free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my careâincluding plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
âQuiana was fabulous- our puppers loved her. She was very available and if you are staying in the French Quarter incredibly close so you can walk to her home. The area Quiana lives is very dog friendly.â

Amanda was fantastic! She took care of our dog, Leo, on short notice while we were visiting New Orleans so we could enjoy some dinner reservations worry-free. She was incredibly accommodating and welcomed Leo into her home like one of her own. He clearly felt comfortable and happy thereâespecially since she even had a stuffed Lamb Chop toy waiting for him! Weâre so grateful for her flexibility and the care she showed. Highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a kind, reliable sitter!

Being on vacation in New Orleans, we needed a dog sitter for the day. Susan took excellent care of our dog, Jay. It was only the second time we had ever taken him to a sitter, normally we have a sitter come to us and watch him in his familiar surroundings. We were happy to see that he was relaxed and happy when we picked him up. Thanks Susan for taking good care of Jay!
Laura was fantastic, and we had no worries about leaving Fika in her very capable hands. She carefully managed the introduction of the dogs to each other so there were no issues, and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day to make sure we didnât worry.

We are so incredibly grateful to Quiana for taking such amazing care of our dogs while we attended my auntâs wedding in New Orleans! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease, her calm, caring energy was exactly what our pups needed. She sent updates, photos, and made sure they were loved and comfortable while we were away. It meant the world to us to be able to fully enjoy the celebration knowing our dogs were in such good hands. Quiana is trustworthy, professional, and truly has a heart for animals. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate pet sitter!
