“I'm just so pleased with Dalia after my dogs' first stay with her! They're generally very anxious with new people. Dalia said that has typically not been an issue for her and turns out she was right! They seemed to really love her and warmed up quickly. She sent loads of video and photo updates and let me know how they were adjusting, which was WELL! She played ball with them and gave them time go romp in her large backyard but also walked them daily. She even sent a photo of them cuddling with her daughter on the sofa. About: My parents had dogs and cats before I was born, so I've literally had animals my entire life. As a young adult living in NYC, I shared a small apartment with two dogs and two cats for nearly 20 years. They were the center of my world, and honestly, the most important things in my life. More than 30 years later, I still dream about them. I’ve always loved animals—every single one. I’ve traveled the world to encounter and marvel at them. I’m the person who will stop at nothing to rescue the baby squirrel, injured bird, or stray dog, and who tries to gently guide the errant bug back outside, even though it completely grosses me out. But beyond loving animals, I'm also a preternaturally mature, responsible adult. I’m 58 (my mom would argue I’ve been 58 since I was five), and I retired early, which means I'm home, unhurried, and genuinely available, aside from taking long walks, swimming, yoga, and social plans. Having spent decades relying on pet sitters and dog walkers myself, I understand firsthand what separates someone adequate from someone truly invaluable. You're not just trusting someone with your pets — you're trusting them with your home, your routines, and the beings you love most in the world. I take that seriously. I'm attentive, observant, communicative, and calm in a crisis. I notice when something seems off in your house, with your pet, or otherwise. About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. About: I’ve had pets all my life and I used to foster dogs and cats with my family in NC. I’ve helped family friends and relatives with their pets for years l and I’ve been professionally dog walking on and off since I moved here 5 years ago. I do have a full time job that I work around, my shifts typically max out at 7 hours so I have plenty of time to provide the best pet care I can. I do have my own pet cat who is not the biggest fan of other animals so home boarding is not an option for me. However, I do feel very comfortable taking care of pets in their own homes. I’m able to provide great exercise and play time as well as administering any medications they may need and sticking to their normal feeding schedule.

“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. “I'm just so pleased with Dalia after my dogs' first stay with her! They're generally very anxious with new people. Dalia said that has typically not been an issue for her and turns out she was right! They seemed to really love her and warmed up quickly. She sent loads of video and photo updates and let me know how they were adjusting, which was WELL! She played ball with them and gave them time go romp in her large backyard but also walked them daily. She even sent a photo of them cuddling with her daughter on the sofa. Their stay with her was fairly short but I'm so impressed with how quickly they settled with her and how she invited them in as part of her family for the time she had them. I'll absolutely be sending my babies back to Dalia's anytime I leave town!”

About: I've walked dogs in Dallas, Tx for three years. I've been taking care of my own dog since moving here to New Orleans. Love all kinds of dogs. I'm recently retired and looking for some extra income. I love all kinds of dogs big or small and their individual personalities. I'm also a long time cat owner and love them as well. I would like to offer my service to stay at your home with your pet. I will feed, adminster medicine, walk, and groom your pet.
About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
