“Christine was very reliable, great communication through the app and was so lovely with caring for our newly adopted 1 year old dog Annabelle. We will be booking her again soon!”

“Rose is fantastic with our dog. Kind, prompt, and compassionate. He’s not the most active guy and can be stubborn and Rose has embraced it all. We are so lucky to have found her.”

About: I bring a lifelong love of animals and a wide range of hands-on experience. I grew up caring for animals of all kinds, have walked dogs and supported adoptions in shelter environments, and have provided reliable in-home care through years of house sitting. I’ve also lived with and fostered cats for most of my life—including young, feral, and undersocialized ones—which has given me a strong intuition for reading animal behavior and offering calm, compassionate care. I'm skilled in administering all types of medications and am happy to handle the day-to-day tasks, from walks to litter box deep cleans, with real care and attention. As a self-employed person with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate pet care throughout the week—including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to tailor my availability to meet the specific needs of each pet and household, whether it’s daily visits, drop-ins, or walks at off-peak hours. When boarding cats in my home, I provide a calm, private room just for them—completely separate from my own cats—to ensure they feel safe and stress-free during their stay. In a client’s home, I’m attentive to any specific routines or safety needs, including crating dogs if requested. I always prioritize a pet’s comfort and well-being, keeping their environment clean, secure, and aligned with what they're used to.

“So grateful for Rose and her help when I have some last minute schedule changes. Whether it be my dog's medication time or a quick walk she's always been there when I needed her. Can't wait to have her help again in the future!”

“Wendi was the best. She walked our dog for two weeks twice a day for 30 minutes each time. Our dog grew to love her. He would sit and wait at the door for her to come. This made us so relaxed while recovering from surgery. And we booked her again for three additional days.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication. I work from home with a lot of flexibility so with proper planning and coordination I can be there to meet you and your furry friends’ needs. I have a fenced yard and a dog who doesn’t mind the company of other well socialized animals. We do have a cat and small child so please consider that before booking. If staying at your home, I will treat it just as my own with respect and consideration for you and your family and your privacy.

“thank you so much!! we needed help last minute and so appreciate your flexibility and willingness to take care of potato!! this was her first real long stretch home alone and it made us so much more comfortable knowing you were coming! she was so happy when we got home!”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and gerbils. I grew up with many dogs in my household of all sizes and ages. I've cared for many cats as well, including spicy and shy cats. I am active and enjoy running and playing with dogs! As a part time job I teach pickleball clinics. I know the importance of being respectful and patient with animals, tuning into their needs and individual personalities. Vegetarian for the animals! After a successful IT career for 11+ years, I am now a student going back to school to get my master's in social work and have open availability for pet care throughout my week. I am very respectful of the needs of my clients, and make sure that their pet and home is well cared for! Communication is my strong suit and I will make sure to send photos and texts regarding care!

“Cindy was wonderful-reliable, sent great pictures and was able to get both dogs to go on daily walks (I wasn’t sure one would join in). Both dogs looked happy in the photos and I would certainly trust my pups with her again!”

About: I've been caring for my personal cat since 2018, although I grew up with cats and a dog in the house and had close relationships with them. I have a Bachelor's in Animal Behavior from the University of New England (UNE). I worked at a doggy day care for a year and since the beginning of 2025 have been walking dogs and providing other pet care services for clients. Pet care is the focus of my weekly routine. I'm available from 10am-5pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and 10am-4pm Fridays, for walks, and can be available for check in visits or housesitting any time of the week. I go above and beyond to try to make sure your pet enjoys their time with me, while also following all rules and instructions you might leave me. I provide a summary of each visit as well as at least one photo, to make sure you know exactly what's going on with your pet.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, I've been a cat owner for a decade, also experienced with small pets like hermit crabs, rabbits, and fish I have a very open schedule, so flexibility is not an issue. I prefer scheduling within normal business hours, but can adjust that as needed I approach new animals (and homes) with respect first, boundaries are important! I lead with openness and patience, and take my cues from the animals

“Callie was absolutely terrific and her help was very appreciated when I got a new puppy and I had to work. She came by beforehand on her own time to meet me and the dogs and get the lay of the land, so when the extended rover "job" began, I felt completely confident. I received daily updates and photos at exactly the agreed-upon time, and when I got home in the afternoons, the puppy and older dog were both calm and comfortable. Communication was easy and fast, and I will absolutely hire Callie again in the future if I need the extra hand.”

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and have done everything with them from walking to grooming and all things in between! My dogs have always been more on the mellow side but that’s not to say I can’t handle a dog with energy too. I’m currently in grad school but when I’m not in class during the week, I’d love to spend time checking in on your pet! In my down time, I love to be outside and can get your dog out too! I have no problem keeping a close eye on your pets both inside or outside. When walking them, I would definitely use a leash unless otherwise stated.

About: My name is Matilda. I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up helping my family and friends when it comes to the care of animals I am looking forward to doing this as a way to both make money and spend time with animals this summer. My availability is flexible throughout the week/weekends. I help out my aunt with her dogs and cats. I love the company of cats, and taking dogs on walks. Both animals are ones I have experience sitting.

About: I moved to Maine from Vermont in 2019 and looking for new pets to sit! I've grown up with dogs my whole life - I'm definitely a dog person! I enjoy all types of dogs, big or small, the more energy the better! I can run with your dog, take them to the dog park to get some energy out, and keep them company while you're away. I'm a patient and easy-going guy, a personality that clicks well with most dogs! I've grown up with West Highland White Terriers, Rottweilers, and Labradors specifically, but I have experience with many breeds. I used to volunteer at the Greyhound Shelter in Saint Albans, VT when I went to school there! Dogs are like furry people to me with so much love to give. Anything that gets our dog outside and moving, count me in! I am easily able to incorporate pet care into my routine as I work for myself and I have a remote job, so I can make time easily! I have a small backyard space that I can bring the dogs to as well as many local dog park options a short drive away!

About: To start, I have owned and lived with pets for my whole life. I grew up with a minimum of two dogs and two cats. I care for a dalmatian/pitbull mix (in my profile picture, his name is Galao!) who does not even like me, so I have gotten very good at reading dogs and their expressions! And I love cats! I grew up with two that both lived well into their 20's, so I think that should be on my petcare resume as well : ) I'm currently self employed and available during weekdays for house visits, walks, and sitting. Overnights during the week are negotiable as well. Im located in Westbrook, but willing to travel a ways! I have reliable transportaion for pets who are car trained as well, in case of emergency or if you would like me to take them somewhere! I will not be taking care of pets at my home. As I said, I take care of a very nervous dalmatian/pitbull mix who will not be involved in this at all. Apologies for the inconvenience!

“Darby is just the most amazing person! She has been looking after my precious dogs for the past three days. Darby pays attention to every single instruction I give her, especially since my 7lb dogs are seniors with health issues. She even takes pictures during each walk and sends them to me. I highly recommend her as a dog walker.”
