About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both small and large dogs, including breeds such as Yorkshire Terriers, Labrador Retrievers, Goldendoodles, and more. I’ve also owned several indoor-only cats over the years, giving me a solid understanding of feline care and behavior. About: I have been a dog owner my whole life, and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, special needs (lots of medication) dogs, and working with multiple dogs at one time. My favorite part about working with dogs is being able to run and play with them. I am available early mornings and late nights. I also love trail walking/running, so I'll make sure your dog gets the exercise they need! I follow a rigorous routine of walking/running with my own dogs, and will take the same care with yours! About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family when they go on vacation. When I was in highschool I love dogs and cats I had a dog and 2 cats when I was younger. “Leslie was excellent with Gracie, our 10 month old Golden Retriever. This was the first time we were going to be leaving Gracie behind and I was nervous and a little apprehensive. So we set up an initial get acquainted meeting at our home where Leslie would be watching her for a long weekend. Being a pup she tends to be very excitable when meeting people. Upon meeting each other Leslie immediately calmed and comforted Gracie. Leslie offered to take Gracie for a walk so they could get to know each other prior to her stay. We then went outside and talked about Gracie's habits. Gracie went and picked up a stick to chew on and then went and laid down next to Leslie as we were chatting. At this point I was completely at ease about leaving Gracie for the weekend. While we were gone Leslie sent photos and daily updates on Gracie. She was very in tune with the dogs personalities and cared about meeting their specific needs… we have a very large dog (200+ lbs English Mastiff) two smaller rescue dogs (15 lb each) of very different mutt breeds.. She was attentive to their diet needs, meds, needs for exercise, and what we needed to know regularly in order to feel confident in their care. She was the consummate professional. We had a difficult situation and family emergency, and she was senditivly flexible with our scheduling needs. We will call her again!!!!

The dogs seemed to take to Shelby very quickly. We had her over for a meet-and-greet a couple of weeks before her first sitting job, and she asked great questions to understand what our dogs and house needed while we were away. Shelby took great care of our little "boys" and the house while we were away without any issues. We highly recommend her services!
