My wife and I are dog lovers and avid campers and hikers. Up until recent years, we have never NOT had dogs over the past 40 years while raising our 2 children. When camping, our dogs always socialized with other dogs and their owners at the campground and dog parks. The kids have moved on and our labs have passed over that rainbow bridge. Because we are traveling more often we don't feel it would be fair to have our own fur babies at this time. We so miss the warmth and joy of dogs and would love to have the opportunity to give your animals the pampering and care that you would! We never have preferred to kennel our dogs if we could not have them with us. We have traded off sitting services with our friends and family. We are both retired but active so we can give your dog(s) plenty of exercise if they need it! Your dog(s) will be treated like part of the family. We are former business owners, professional, and non-smokers. We do have a nice fenced yard for dogs to run and play. We also keep the A/C on in the house to keep them cool and out of the heat. We would love to be your family members sitter or to walk and play with them as you need. Please contact us! In general, requests are answered 8am - 10pm. We WILL host multiple dogs if they are from the same household. If your dog needs any special care or medication, please let us know. We do not have any problems with providing your dog of ANY age the care that they deserve. I am sure once you meet us you will feel very comfortable knowing your loved one is being cared for!

I was so so nervous boarding our puppy as we have never boarded before. To say I am grateful for this amazing couple is an understatement. They put me at ease instantly at drop off and sent so many sweet pictures of our guy having fun. We will 100% be letting our Chooch stay with them again.

Schedule
We are retired and can adjust our schedule to the needs of your pet. We have a quiet neighborhood that allows walking or just playing in our fenced yard.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is an open space with wood and tile floors. In addition, we have a screened in front porch to get fresh air as well; especially in inclement weather. We have room for crate or cage and any bedding to make your dog feel at home. We welcome you to bring whatever will make him/her feel most comfortable and can give them as much play time inside or out as you are comfortable with.
A typical day
When staying in our home, we have a fenced in back yard for running off-leash. We live in neighborhood where we can walk on leash for miles/minutes/hours depending on what your dog is accustomed to. We enjoy throwing toys, playing catch and have hosted swimming in small play pools. For dogs that are more low key, cuddling on the floor works too! If dogs are from the SAME household, we will keep more than one dog in our home. With very few exceptions, we will not mix non-familiar dogs when doing day care or overnight visits. Please let us know if your dog can NOT interact with dogs they are unfamiliar with!
