“I had to go out of town on short notice and needed someone to take Lotus out in the morning for a walk and give her breakfast. I found Tina and she was awesome! She kept me informed and took great pictures and did a great job. I booked her for a 30 minute drop-in for two days and would definitely do it again. Thank you Tina.”

“So glad we rebooked with Erika! She took wonderful care of our cats and kept us updated every day with many cute pictures and videos. We think she’s a pet whisperer! 😊”

Whether it be daily walks playtime, feeding or simply keeping your pet company I’m committed to maintaining their routine and giving them the same care they’re used to at home. I understand very much how important it is to trust the person looking after your pets and I take that responsibility seriously. I’d be happy to meet you and your pets to learn more about their needs. Thank you for considering me. I look forward to helping your furry family members feel happy and care for. I’m looking to earn some extra income, and the best way for me to do that is by doing what I love — spending time with furry little friends. Animals bring me so much joy and happiness, and I’d love to turn that passion into helping others care for their pets.” I treat every pet like family. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special routines to make sure your pet feels safe and loved. “Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of our fur babies while we were away. Because we arrived back home around the times that Nicole had been coming to care for them in the evening, our cats came running to the door and seemed disappointed when they didn’t see her. I can’t give enough praises on how Nicole got on Miss Monster’s (aka Jezebel) good side and worked her magic while giving her the twice a day insulin shots she needs. And Toby keeps looking for his new best friend! We will definitely be calling on Nicole again in the future.”

“Leslie did an amazing job. Our pets - 2 dogs and a cat - were well cared for & happy. The check-ins were something I didn't realize I needed in my life. The updates & the pictures gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Definitely recommend Leslie as a caring, responsible sitter.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole like - from small chihuahuas to large Great Danes. I have never had any problems with a dog liking me and I will always approach a new dog with the respect they deserve. I am knowledgeable in their body language and cues so I am usually able to communicate with them quite well. Some skills I have when it comes to dogs are medication administration, potty training, crate training, command training, and leash training. I am not certified but I do have lots of experience with multiple dogs that has been highly effective. All dogs will receive endless pets and belly rubs! If they have a special snacks or dietary needs, I can certainly follow any instructions given to keep your pup in good health while in my care. Occasionally, my husband may be with for walks as I like having another person with for security measures. I will always message you for permission of this before your service. He is great with all animals as well but as a woman, I like having that extra sense of security when I’m in a new area. I have recently opened up my availability to be a full time pet care assistant. I absolutely love animals and to have this be a full time means of living would be a dream come true. I have open arms to animals of all shapes and sizes! I do not currently offer in home pet sitting as my complex only allows our registered pets. But basic care would include: play time, feedings, refilling/refreshing the water dish, snacks if available, time basking in the sun (if applicable), administering medication if needed, LOTS OF PETS!
“Stacy was so wonderful with my babies! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! She took so much time and gave them so much love. I knew they were in great hands and I wouldn’t have to worry about them at all. Thank you Stacy!”

“Ebony has been a life saver for my family and I! My dogs are getting old and cannot be left home alone for extended period of time without some love and a potty break. She comes to my house every day that I work and does just that. My dogs get excited and meet her at the door, knowing that they are going to get some attention and a well deserved walk around the block. She has even brought over another 4 legged friend for my pups to enjoy some time with! She is very trustworthy, respects your home and your animals, and I cannot recommend her enough.”

“I was very nervous about leaving my blind 16 yo kitty with Chronic Kidney Disease. I canceled my last vacation 4 months ago because he was declining. Just prior to this very short trip, he had barely been eating. Isabella followed my special feeding instructions perfectly. I came home to a kitty who was very happy to see me and vice versa. Thank you Isabella!”

About: Like many others‚ I've been around animals my whole life, and while being a pet owner naturally teaches you about responsibility and how to take care of an animal, what really helped prepare me and build my confidence to provide reliable professional pet care was working in animal care facilities․ I began working as a kennel technician during my senior year of high school, where I was responsible for feeding animals, administering medications, cleaning kennels, and ensuring each pet received the attention and care they needed․ When I started college, I continued working seasonally during breaks, but eventually transitioned into a job that tailored my college needs. Throughout high school though, I continuously pet-sat for some family friends. I am currently a junior at Florida Tech․ I work as a customer service representative and animal care attendant at Dogspot Hotel․ The great thing about working at the Dogspot Hotel is that I get to interact with clients and their dogs‚ and provide the best service for each animal․ I am comfortable administering oral and injectable medications including insulin‚ as well as handling animals with a variety of medical conditions and behavioral issues․ A little extra about me, I have three dogs, three cats, and a Russian tortoise! When school starts up again in August‚ I will be a full-time college student at Florida Tech and working part-time․ My class schedule will be set‚ but my job is very flexible and I will be able to work around my class schedule․ Classes are scheduled mainly four days a week‚ with a mix of morning and afternoon availability. This gives me more flexibility to care for pets, including check-ins throughout the day, or overnight in the case of boarding․ I currently live in Melbourne‚ in the house that I rent with my roommates‚ and while my roommates have no problems with me having pets, our landlord has stated that they do not allow pets in the house. So any pet care would have to take place outside of my home.
About: I have had many years of experience house/pet sitting for different families ever since I was a little girl. I have always loved animals and always wanted to be a veterinarian. I ended up in a different career, but I do have experience working at a vet clinic. Which means I have experience administering medication, giving injections, nail trimming, ear cleaning and more! I am very detail oriented and organized and will send frequent updates and pictures of your fur baby! I appreciate you leaving me a list as well so everyone is on the same page! I am a dog mom of 2 precious babies and I know how important it is to find someone you fully trust. I want you to have full peace of mind that your baby is in great hands with me!
“Emily is very kind, conscientious and thorough. She will love your animals as one of her own and cares deeply about their health and well being. I will definitely use Emily in the future and trust her implicitly in my home and with my babies.”

“Mindy has been wonderfully patient with my nervous, and overly energetic baby. Seeing my dog get sooo excited to see Mindy a 2nd time was such a gift. Our pup thinks Mindy is now her special friend, there to visit her.”

“We were away for a long weekend and Christina cared for our dog, Dickens. Always nice to leave, knowing our pet is cared for as if we were still here. Would recommend to others, as long as it's not at a time when we need her!!! Lol”

About: I’m not just a sitter…I’m your dog’s new bestie! With a fenced backyard for zoomies, fetch, and sunshine naps, every visit is full of fun and love. I make sure each pup gets personal attention, endless belly rubs, and a stress-free stay while you’re gone. I work full time from 7-330 but as soon as I’m home, my time is your pet’s time. I allow dogs to sleep in the bed if they’re used to that, or I follow any client-driven requests! Your preference. Your dog has endless access to the fenced backyard! And I have a pug that loves to play with other dogs! Friendly dogs are welcome!
About: Hi, I’m Lex! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently share my days with two pit bulls, Ted and Wayne, who have taught me patience, structure, and just how much personality one dog can have. I’m also very familiar with dogs who need a little extra reassurance, consistency, or space to warm up. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from laid-back couch companions to dogs who need long walks, enrichment, and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, crate routines, and reinforcing any training you’re already working on at home. I’m attentive, calm, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a reliable walker, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! — Lex I just arrived in Florida and am in the process of settling in, so my schedule is very flexible right now. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to plan my days around walks, feedings, drop-ins, and quality time. Since I’m not juggling another job at the moment, I can be fully present and reliable, and I genuinely enjoy building my routine around caring for animals. I focus on caring for pets in their own home through walks and drop-in visits, where they’re most comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I pay close attention to energy levels and personalities, whether that means a long walk to burn energy or a calm check-in with extra affection. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and feel safe and cared for, and I always send updates and photos after visits.
About: I had dogs growing up and they always brought so much joy. I have fostered animals mostly puppies and at one time I had 5 puppies that I was potty training. If your pet requires medication via needle or pill, I am comfortable with either. I work from home and I am flexible in taking care of your pet. Whether it is a walk, daily feeding or sleep over I am home most of the time. If your fur baby is staying the night, we will discuss specific needs, such as feeding time, treats, walks, etc. if I am walking your fur baby, is there a specific area or length of walk you prefer. I am also available to let your dog out during the day and make sure your fur baby has enough water.

Kyle did an amazing dog with both my dogs and cat! I can tell he is a huge animal lover and he spent quality time with all my pets and I could see how much they enjoyed his company. Although I have a pet cam I appreciate that he went above and beyond with sending me multiple videos of my pets. He has earned my trust that he will not just check in but also give my animals love while I am gone :)

Mary went above and beyond to make sure Charlie (and our fish) were well taken care of during our trip. We never had to worry and she routinely stayed over the thirty minute time slot and gave him long walks to let him get his time outside in. He’s a bigger dog with some reactivity with small animals and she handled him with no issues at all and extreme care. From the pictures we got we could tell that Charlie really loved her! I highly recommend Mary for dog sitting!!

Wendy was a lifesaver! She stepped in on very short notice and took great care of our dogs, letting them out twice a day as needed. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our pets. We really appreciated her flexibility and would absolutely trust her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in West Melbourne with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
