“I selected Gabriella because of her ability to administer insulin shots to my dog. She had an emergency with her own dog and even when going through an stressful time, she managed to show up and worked things out with me. I will certainly hire her again if needed, she acted very responsible and understood that my dog really needed her.”

About: My wife and I have been pet sitting for several years. My clients have all become part of the family. I genuinely love being around animals, going for walks and spending time with animals. We were dog sitting previously in Canada while living there, we would be happy to provide you with additional references. We have the friendliest 7 year old Irish setter who absolutely loves being around people and dogs (He spends a lot of his time at Fred Popp dog park running in circles for an hour). He loves both large and small dogs and he does not seem to care if they are female or male. When pet sitting at your home, my dog will stay home with his other family members . We work from home so were always around. We love walking and being outdoors so your pet will get lots of exercise (I can track the pets walks on my phone and send updates and photos so you know your buddy is having a great time). We will always discuss the pets needs before caring for them as every pet is different and deserves the staycation that's best for them. We will discuss the pets' needs with the owner and come up with a plan that they are comfortable. (I'll do my best to stick to the same routine they have at home )
“Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of our fur babies while we were away. Because we arrived back home around the times that Nicole had been coming to care for them in the evening, our cats came running to the door and seemed disappointed when they didn’t see her. I can’t give enough praises on how Nicole got on Miss Monster’s (aka Jezebel) good side and worked her magic while giving her the twice a day insulin shots she needs. And Toby keeps looking for his new best friend! We will definitely be calling on Nicole again in the future.”

“Mindy has been wonderfully patient with my nervous, and overly energetic baby. Seeing my dog get sooo excited to see Mindy a 2nd time was such a gift. Our pup thinks Mindy is now her special friend, there to visit her.”

About: Like many others‚ I've been around animals my whole life, and while being a pet owner naturally teaches you about responsibility and how to take care of an animal, what really helped prepare me and build my confidence to provide reliable professional pet care was working in animal care facilities․ I began working as a kennel technician during my senior year of high school, where I was responsible for feeding animals, administering medications, cleaning kennels, and ensuring each pet received the attention and care they needed․ When I started college, I continued working seasonally during breaks, but eventually transitioned into a job that tailored my college needs. Throughout high school though, I continuously pet-sat for some family friends. I am currently a junior at Florida Tech․ I work as a customer service representative and animal care attendant at Dogspot Hotel․ The great thing about working at the Dogspot Hotel is that I get to interact with clients and their dogs‚ and provide the best service for each animal․ I am comfortable administering oral and injectable medications including insulin‚ as well as handling animals with a variety of medical conditions and behavioral issues․ A little extra about me, I have three dogs, three cats, and a Russian tortoise! When school starts up again in August‚ I will be a full-time college student at Florida Tech and working part-time․ My class schedule will be set‚ but my job is very flexible and I will be able to work around my class schedule․ Classes are scheduled mainly four days a week‚ with a mix of morning and afternoon availability. This gives me more flexibility to care for pets, including check-ins throughout the day, or overnight in the case of boarding․ I currently live in Melbourne‚ in the house that I rent with my roommates‚ and while my roommates have no problems with me having pets, our landlord has stated that they do not allow pets in the house. So any pet care would have to take place outside of my home.
About: I recently worked at the Florida Wildlife Hospital as an animal care technician! There I worked with vet techs and Doctors to rehab and release wildlife! I have experience in medical procedures involving wildlife and daily care of animal patients. I have been caring for Dogs, Cats, and Rodents since I was really young. That combined with my experience at The Florida Wildlife Hospital, I know I am capable of the care your furry friends need! From dogs as small as Teacup Yorkies to as giant as Great Danes, we have owned them and I know their needs! I have helped raise and train puppies, worked with foster dogs, and cared intentionally for senior dogs. I also have experience with many animals in the house at once, we frequented about 6 at a time! Over my travels the last few years, I have been able to help countless families care for their pets while they were away, and it is my passion to give them each the care they need to the best of my abilities. I will sacrifice time, energy, and anything your pet needs to stay healthy and THRIVING! p.s. I also have experience caring for and working with horses if that applies! When I am invited into your home to care for your pets you can rest assured that they will be loved and taken care of. I make sure my schedule fits around when they need to go for walks, to go potty, to eat, etc. And you can expect upon return that your home will be cared for too. I will always clean, collect the mail, water your plants if you desire, put the rubbish bins on the street, wash the bedding and towels I use, etc!
About: I’m active, patient, and reliable. I run regularly, enjoy long walks, and make sure high-energy dogs get proper exercise and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages :) Pet care fits easily into my routine as a nursing student. I’m available early mornings and most afternoons after noon, making walks, runs, and check-ins easy to schedule. I stick closely to each pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I focus on safe walks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I've trained my own dog and cared for her as she's become an old lady, so I know what it takes at all ages. I am currently available all throughout the day 7 days a week. I can play with them outside, go on walks, play inside, or whatever they need. Since I will be going to the clients home, I will follow whatever rules they have in place. The main goal is to keep the animals safe. I understand the fur babies will be hesitant at first meeting someone new, so I will take it slow to be sure they feel comfortable.
“Victoria is an amazing dog sitter! She came by to check on my dogs while I was away and did a fantastic job. She was so sweet and attentive, making sure they were fed, had water, and got plenty of attention. She even sent me updates to let me know everything was going well, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It’s clear she loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I highly recommend Victoria for anyone needing a reliable and caring dog sitter!”
“Celia is a natural with animals and was wonderful with my boys from start to finish! We were gone for 6 weeks but knew the whole time that our cats were in the best hands. 🤍 Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies and even going out of your way to make sure our home was in order! I highly recommend Celia to anyone looking for a responsible, communicative, loving pet sitter.”

About: I worked at the dog spot hotel for years handling several kinds of dogs behaviors, food, medicines, baths, exercise, etc. I also have owned 3 of my own dogs and taken several training courses with a certified dog trainer for behavior and commands. I’m currently working a part time serving position, so I will have a lot of time to play and take care of all of your dogs. I come home on breaks as I live right down the road and my hours aren’t long at all. I am also already hanging out with a foster dog when he needs me. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a screened in porch to take your dog outside to potty in the rain if they get nervous. I have a spacious home for roaming and tile floors perfect for cleaning up any accidents! I have a 8 year old yorkie mix at my home too that will keep your pets company and is great with all size dogs. I also have reliable AC in this florida heat to keep your puppies comfortable. I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.
About: I've grown up with dogs and other animals almost my whole life! I've watched dogs for friends and family, and dogs of all sizes! I love each and every pet I meet, and have a beloved little dog of my own! I believe each and every pet has their own personality, and each deserve their own unique love, care, and quality time. From big, small, old and young, I will take care of your pet as if they were my very own! I am currently not employed in a work setting, but do work on my side business as a crocheter part time, so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! My schedule is very flexible, so I can work with your schedule too! I have a partially fenced yard, with one small side not fenced, so taking dogs out on a leash is no problem for me! In home there are no breakable items within reach of any sized pet, and no harmful items within reach either. My super comfy couch and bed is pet friendly so your fur babies can rest their heads wherever they would like! If going for a walk, I live on a road that stretches almost a mile long with a sidewalk on both sides. If in the clients home, the house will be respected and any notes or rules will be followed (ex. House codes and gate codes, potty breaks outside, walks, any needs of the pet). If a pet needs medication, assistance or any other specific care, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is healthy and happy!
“Bethany was absolutely amazing with my dog, Cleo! She was very communicative the entire time and sent tons of photos, which eased so much of my anxiety while I was visiting friends and spending the whole weekend at Disney. She did everything I asked her to do and went above and beyond. Since I wasn’t from the area and couldn’t do a proper meet and greet, she even offered to FaceTime beforehand which I appreciated so much. Her thoughtfulness and reliability made the entire experience stress-free! I’m SO thankful for her and would highly, highly recommend booking Bethany!”

About: Hi! My name is Hailey, and I absolutely love caring for animals. I’m a third-year Biology student at UCF with a passion for animal care and conservation, and I’m excited to bring that passion to Rover! I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats through my own pets, volunteer work, and everyday animal handling. At home, I have my energetic French bulldog, Lola, and my wonderful cat, Popper. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I help with cage cleanings, animal socialization, and dog walking. These experiences have taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and understanding each animal’s individual personality are. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, some extra playtime, a calm companion, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. Outside of Rover, I’m pursuing my Biology degree with an interest in continuing my education in veterinary sciences. Working with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I'm currently a full-time student and working part-time, so most days I'm not available. However, I am free every Saturday and Wednesday, so I'd be happy to stop in and care for your pets at any time on those days! I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship, and keep you updated with photos so you know they’re happy and safe.
“Thank you for the drop in visit to take care of our sweet girl! It looks like she was motivated for a decent walk & ate most of her food (& both are accomplishments for our senior girl : ) )! We appreciate your detailed update!”

“Illian was available for my last minute drop in for my cat and she was excellent! My cat can be very skiddish but she made sure to sit with her and try and get her to come out of hiding and play a bit. So glad she was available last minute”

The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Melbourne is $20

Mindy was Fantastic!. She had excellent communication and sent photos of my pup every day.She also went above and beyond in walking her and teaching her some tricks as well as did some obedience training. Lily loved her and looked forward to her visits. I would most definitely contact her again if I needed someone to check in on my pup.

Mary went above and beyond to make sure Charlie (and our fish) were well taken care of during our trip. We never had to worry and she routinely stayed over the thirty minute time slot and gave him long walks to let him get his time outside in. He’s a bigger dog with some reactivity with small animals and she handled him with no issues at all and extreme care. From the pictures we got we could tell that Charlie really loved her! I highly recommend Mary for dog sitting!!

Wendy was a lifesaver! She stepped in on very short notice and took great care of our dogs, letting them out twice a day as needed. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our pets. We really appreciated her flexibility and would absolutely trust her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
